Sharodie's Design

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features several group gifts and a hunt prize from Sharodie's Design, where the group is free and there is currently a hunt happening to look for 10 cats around the store. These sweet felines are in different colors and poses, some hiding up fairly high like atop an arch while others are slinking around in the greenery or just hanging around in the open :) They're all set for sale for $0L and contain mostly dresses with BOM bases and a flexi style skirt so they are great for classic avatars or any BOM-compatible body. I have no idea what the timeframe is for the hunt, so hopefully you'll have a chance to stop by this weekend or very soon.

My first look is a lovely group gift called ~*~Sharodie's Design~*~ Suzette pink. The turtleneck and long sleeves are balanced by a super short hemline, and that pale rosy color is just right for the spring. Our gift includes Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes.

Another generous group gift is giving summer flavor, the ~*~Sharodie's Design~*~ Tropical dress. It includes the ruched dress and separate sleeves in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I love the red and the floral pattern, with little pops of yellow inside the smaller flowers :) Since this has a Lara X size instead of 5.3, I switched to that body for a few photos.

~*~Sharodie's Design~*~ Noel Gown is a fantastic group gift with both elegance and sex appeal. The bodice is designed with bold cutouts, and the flowing skirt has a long train so it could even work as a flirty wedding dress if you're so inclined. It fits Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies.

If you've been around SL a long time, you will recognize the styling of our ~*~Sharodie's Design~*~ Amy gown group gift as a system layer top, glitch pants, and a full flexi skirt that moves when we walk :) There is no mesh involved, just amazing textures and BOM friendly system pieces that can suit nearly any mesh body. The colors are stunning, and the skirt's hints of lilac are making me think of fancy nail polish with color shifting shimmer. So gorgeous!

My final look is one of the 10 hunt prizes I mentioned, oddly enough the only one not a dress or gown...the ~*~Sharodie's Design~*~ My PJ's prize made me think of how I will probably spend a fair amount of my upcoming weekend ;) The top and shorts each come in sizes for Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. The snuggly bear is enclosed too, with the built in hold pose you see above ♥. I switched back to Lara 5.3, and was amused by the way the left side of the shorts seems to be riding up in the back. Don't worry, the pretty lace is still covering the essentials.

*fans face* This room is feeling pretty steamy right about now, and I am not sure where our nice moderate spring went already. I've got a ceiling fan and a smaller floor fan on, neither of which is doing all that much, and it's 77 in here even though it's much cooler outside with the sun being down. I enjoyed dinner with my parents, and we looked through more old pictures while the housemate helped my dad with his new phone which was doing odd things. For one thing it had my mom's contact marked as spam (annoying but funny), even after being deleted and re-added. I think they resolved that but not sure how. It's a Samsung phone, but so was his old one I believe. Technology can be a real pain in the neck sometimes, or a bit lower ;) I hope you've all got a wonderful weekend ahead, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

More MIIX Goodies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more exciting gifts to share from the MIIX Event and their 5th anniversary round. There are lots of generous treats for their Hype Events group, which is free to join so these gifts are provided at absolutely no cost to you. This celebratory round is open until the 20th of the month, so you have time to grab some demos and do some shopping too :)

This first sweet look is our ::BY EVIE:: #04 SET GIFT top and shorts pairing. They each come in Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes, along with a HUD offering 10 colors apiece. I am particularly fond of the softly curled edges, and the low cut neckline that gives the tiniest peep of cleavage.

I kept the shorts on but changed into the lovely BQ::Mayla Knotted Shirt:: Red Roses gift from BlondeQueen :) This pattern is fun for spring without being the typical pastels, and the cropped length means it will go nicely with all sorts of pants, shorts, jeans, and skirts. We receive sizing for Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies.

Those BY EVIE shorts are making another appearance, this time topped with our The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. DANDELION WISHES Tee gift. It is such a cozy looking tank top, with "Butterfly Kisses Dandelion Wishes" written on the front and decorated with both the flora and fauna mentioned :) What a nice nod to this time of year! The tee is provided as an unpacker HUD so you can select your size set - standard, eBody Classic, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP - to deliver just what you need. We can hang onto the HUD for future reference, so your inventory isn't crammed with copies you don't need just yet.

Next we see the generous Spells & Charms treat called {S&C} Rossana Dress. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, along with a HUD that has 3 colors for us to choose from. However, SL being SL sometimes, I could not convince the HUD to work for me and it just delivered a landmark to the mainstore when I clicked any of the colors. This stunning hot pink isn't even one of the three hues shown on the HUD, so I'm considering it a pretty bonus :) 

My final look of the evening is a closeup view of the Halo Nails - Quinn gift. These square tipped mesh nails have a great mix of solid white, pink sparkle, and a middle accent nail with a sparkly pink heart on a creamy white background. They fit Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh hands, and all you need to do is use your body's HUD to hide the built in nails and add the corresponding size from this folder :) Easy and beautiful, just what every manicure should be. 

Today was a bit of a whirlwind, thanks to the housemate being left to decide where and when my outing would be. We made 3 stops, so it was considerably longer than I would have expected, and I didn't think I would be going into any stores but I did pop into one. It wasn't horrible, but so chaotically unplanned that I felt anxiety simply from that aspect. Otherwise I am looking forward to dinner with my parents tomorrow, and then the weekend will be here for all of us to relax. 13 Years of Cosmo

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post comes to us from the Cosmopolitan Event, round one of their two-part 13th anniversary celebration. Their rounds are brief, twice a month, and this one is open until the 12th of April. Join their free group if you aren't already a member, and you can claim treats from several participating designers (I'd say about half of them had gifts) by clicking the rustic wooden crates. It is so exciting to help honor their accomplishment of thirteen amazing years in SL, and I can't wait to visit again next round too!

My first look is a scintillating outfit from #SHOOSH which is their Leeza Outfit [GIFT]. That's all one piece, with the appearance of a blouse, corset, skirt, and panties all combined! It is provided in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I think the steaming hot pink really caught my eye, particularly contrasted by the snowy white blouse.

We also can claim this wonderful Black Flowers - Gina Set - FATPACK as their gift for the event :) It is another one-piece outfit that shows off considerable cleavage, this one being a fun romper with long pointed collar on its blouse and a built in belt. There are Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included, along with a HUD that lets us choose from 12 colors each for the top, shorts, and belt, and 5 metals for the belt buckles. Mix and match your hues, and have fun with this present from Black Flowers :)

The [FAME] Dress - Sima / GIFT 1 is a lovely pair of dresses that have a delightful mix of sex appeal and romance. The black (left above) and pink (right) versions each fit Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. They both have belts attached, and the bright bows at the hem of the pink version are a sweet touch that probably inspired me to think of it as romantic. 

Next I got a bit creative for the sake of modesty, with my pose and a Photoshop flower ;) The [COCO LOUIS] Venus Dress - Onix is a sheer halter dress with open weave and bare back, in sizes for Classic/Dainty, Curvy/Dainty, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies. Since I can't walk around in this pose all day in SL, lol, I'm thinking some BOM pasties and panties layered beneath would do the trick to help us wear it to a G rated area. Such a pretty style!

My final look this evening is two gifts at once, so let's start at the top ;) That would be our [FLIRT] Suriya top-FATPACK treat, which is a playful strapless top in Cinnamon, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The enclosed HUD offers 8 colors each for the top, border, and gems decorating it, so there is a lot of potential for variety here. Then I added our [ELLE] Pantie_Black & White_Pack gift, with each color thong designed to fit Classic, Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. I thought it would be fun to match the panties colors with the trim on the top for each side above, but as always I urge you to wear everything I share in ways and combos that suit you. I love seeing how several different people can take the same basic wardrobe item and each wear it styled completely uniquely to their taste :) I view my photos as the serving suggestions you'll see on food packaging, LOL!

Whew, yesterday was a challenge for my anxiety. Good news - I got to my dentist visit okay, and even asked about a problem I have that meant more poking and prodding (blister or abscess type thing on gum) which it turns out they have no idea what caused it. There are 3 possibilities and none seem to be accurate, even with an x-ray to look inside. I'm a medical mystery, LOL, which should be freaking me out but I am choosing to take a more lighthearted approach since it doesn't seem to be anything dangerous. It's not even usually painful, just tender on rare occasions. I know, dental stuff is not most people's favorite topic so I apologize if I gave anyone the ick. I'm also trying to do a bunch of random unrelated things at once and distracting myself, causing me to be a scatterbrained magpie. I was so drained last night that I'm glad I took the evening off from blogging, just as I am happy to be back as well :) I hope you're all having a beautiful day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

MIIX Anniversary Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're celebrating the MIIX Event's 5th anniversary, with group gifts galore for their Hype Events group. It is free to join the group, and the gifts are at most of the displays in pretty purple gift bags. A few weren't set up just yet, either no contents or no script to deliver it, but I'll be checking back soon :) The deals here are always wonderful, and the brands you can find are those of very talented and generous designers. 

For my first look of the evening, I am enjoying our [Luxury] Debbie Set group gift :) The strapless top and shorts with built in belt are each included in Legacy, Perky, Pushup Nerido, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy mesh body sizing. There is also a HUD of course, offering 40 choices each for the top, shorts, and belt. Half the choices are solids and the other half are various patterns, which allows for a wide assortment of looks.

The sexy :::FurtaCor:::Dheart Dress can be found on the wall with the event signs and info rather than at their display, and there gifts for other groups there as well. This peekaboo dress has tiny heart-shaped holes all throughout the fabric, so that does make it somewhat see-through. There are sizes for Kalhene, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies included, along with a 12 color HUD and the valentine bear with built in hold that you see here. With the bear being an optional addition, I do still feel this dress is suitable for any time of year :) Just be sure to wear the proper undies or pasties if you're headed somewhere G rated. One of my favorite features is the intricate straps on the back, tied with a pretty bow like a sweet present.

Next I changed into the {EB} SPECIAL GIFT MIIX from Ewa Boutique. This treat has a pair of bold black roses in full bloom, one on the single shoulder and the other at the waist where the wrap skirt meets up, and it's all one piece so very easy to wear. We receive Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing of this lovely dark floral set.

Dark Salvation has a gorgeous gift waiting for us, their Shanon DS Gift. This low cut mini dress comes in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies. The enclosed HUD offers 4 sweet floral prints that are ideal for the season :) I'm a fan of flowers year round, but do get the strong connection between spring and new blossoms.

For my final look of the night, I wanted to show you a closer look at the :::FRIDANails::: gift called Nails- PINK 1- Almond. These beautiful long mesh nails have alternating solid pink nails and white with a heart pattern, for an eye-catching manicure that is so easy to wear. Just hide your body's built in nails and add the corresponding size from the folder :) They fit Belleza, Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, Signature Alice, and Slink hands. 

We had an intense thunderstorm whip through the area earlier this evening, but fortunately it is gone now and my power didn't blink out at all :) That would have been really inconvenient while playing Hello Kitty Island Adventure, because it doesn't autosave that I am aware of so anything we'd done so far would have poofed. We have unlocked a few more things, gotten some new quests, and got a little lost so there is some investigating to do. Meanwhile I am terrified about my dentist appointment tomorrow, which is a good time to mention that I am taking tomorrow evening off from blogging. Either I'll get there and be all nitrous-groggy when I would be blogging, lol, or I will fail to get there again and be busy sulking and trying to forgive myself.
