Le'La Body Art

Hiya everyone! Tonight I will be showing you some more Le'La group gifts (just $10L to join their group) but this post is not about their lovely clothing; tonight I am revealing some tattoos you can find among their dozens of gifts. It is a pleasure to be able to experiment in SL with various body art styles, since in RL they are much more expensive, painful, and permanent. I am always on the lookout for ways to express ourselves in Second Life, and I think that tattoos can provide a glimpse of our personality or the one we create for our avatars. I checked the Marketplace for a way to cover just enough of myself to show you the tats without showing too much else, and found a bra and panties set from Aero Designer that fit the bill.

The design is really intriguing, and with coverage on the upper and lower body the tattoos will peek out from a wide range of clothing styles and lengths.

I first noticed the bold flowers on the arms, then the shark and sun on the back...what aspects catch your eye first? The bra and panties are a free gift found on the marketplace from Aero Designer, who provide system layers as well as Omega, Belleza, and Maitreya appliers. The pretty purple pattern drew me to it, especially since the tattoos are all in black ink only so the color would not clash with anything. The monochrome look of the tattoos just shows how important good shading is, none of these look flat or less detailed for not being multicolored. They are impressive artwork that I am proud to share.

Today was a good one, and tomorrow promises to be extra busy since I have extra traveling to do. We are celebrating two birthdays, my dad and my grandmother (mom's mom, so my dad shares his birthday with his mother-in-law not his mom). Several times throughout the past year, we were not sure that my grandma was going to reach her 91st birthday, so it is with great pleasure that I will be gently hugging her and wishing her continued recovery. She is a remarkable woman, and wow I'm getting really emotional already. Okay, so if there is no blog post tomorrow night, it just means that I exhausted myself and ran out of time, but will be back as soon as possible with more treats to share.
