Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting the Magical Winter Fair & Hunt, which is a wonderful place to get some new clothing, accessories, or home decor for this season. The best par of shopping here is that a portion of the proceeds from many of the items go to charity, to help fund schools in Kenya. Education is vital for everyone no matter where, from simple things like reading and writing to more complex skills that help with 'adulting' :) In addition to the hunt items for $3L each, some of the designers are offering free gifts with no group tag necessary to reward us for stopping by. Those are what we'll be taking a look at here, and I am very grateful to everyone who takes part in these events. Please be sure to stop by before the 15th, which is this round's ending date.

Another thoughtful gift is our ILL No abandonment of pets top, which is actually a duo of single shoulder shirts. The black and white versions are each provided in Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh body sizing, with a wolf on the right upper chest. I love the way the top is cinched on both sides, so it draws attention to the bust and shows off our midriff :) This shirt is meaningful to me because of my family's history of taking in abandoned or unwanted birds...we did it once when I was a kid with a parakeet (budgie) my best friend's mom got tired of, and I did it again as an adult with another budgie whose humans were having another baby and had been neglecting their bird. Currently my parents have 2 cockatiels that were unwanted at 2 homes in a row, so they've enjoyed a forever home with my parents for about 15 years ♥. It's got a wonderful sheen to the fabric, reminding me of both cherry and apple coloring (fruit on my mind?) and fun cutouts on each side and a keyhole opening at the back of the high neck. There is an outfit included for the men, shirt and pants named Zach, but I am wearing their Kimia outfit here. This is a one-piece layered look with ruffled skirt and turtleneck beneath that looks to have images of Krampus on it. I'm happy to be back from my day off, which was for a podiatrist visit to make sure my toenails are all healthy and behaving ;) It went smoothly really, which is quite a relief, and I'll be back for another trim in March. Meanwhile I've got a few interesting things to explore in SL this week, and some gaming time tomorrow after dinner that will lift my spirits. Oh speaking of good news, my dad had his cardioversion again for the A-fib and this time it was successful, so the CPAP has been helping his sleep apnea enough to make that possible :) I hope you're all having a pleasant day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
