Hiya everyone! Tonight we're headed to the SWANK Event for their June round, Celebration of Colors, with a Pride hunt. Gifts for the free group are "hidden" in many of the booths on both floors of this event, and I put that in quotes because most of the hunt objects (rainbow striped plaques shaped like a flame) are easily visible. A few are tucked behind signs, but those vibrant colors are hard to hide I guess ;) Many of the gifts are Pride themed or at least very colorful for the celebratory theme, but it isn't required and there is a fantastic variety among them. I've always enjoyed this event and the generosity of the designers, so I am a very happy magpie tonight. There are gifts for men and women, fashions tend to be on the outer ring and decor on the inner areas.
We start things off with the charming [C.YFashion]*PRIDE2024*Mini Dress gift, which is one piece but gives the appearance of two, well three if you count the belt on the skirt :) There are sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We also receive a HUD with 10 textures apiece for the top, belt, and skirt, so we can mix and match our Pride and love patterns.
Sometimes we need a little sparkle in our lives, so the *SC* Rona Glittery Dress Fatpack gift from Soho Chic is ready to make that happen. That's because it has tiny twinkling specks that are probably easier to see on the left above, more visible in person because it is an animation. The dress comes in Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn sizing, along with a HUD that lets us choose from 22 textures each for dress and bow. Half of these are solid colors and the other half are the subtle lace overlay you see on the right. They both look amazing on this sweet sundress style :)
This flirty look is our #SHOOSH - Rainbeau Bikini & Cover FATPACK gift. We layer the bra, dress, and panties to create the outfit, all in sizes for Lara X, Legtacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I always appreciate a nice pop of color, but of course this one has such special meaning behind it that it's irresistible to this fervent ally.
I feel like there's a tornado in my brain today, LOL, thanks to a persistent whirlwind of thoughts, plans, and questions. I've been trying to plan my week, but that involves others who do not always make it easy. I should be receiving my new contact lenses in the mail (for until my cataract surgery) and I'm actually very eager to see if they make any difference at all :) The weather is a bit milder, although I was unable to go to the farmers market yesterday due to a lack of sleep and upset stomach so I haven't been outside.
