Stupid Cupid
Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some prizes to share from the Stupid Cupid Hunt 8, a fun $1L gridwide hunt where we are looking for the arrows that cupid has dropped in various stores. Some of his prizes are pro-Valentines, some are against it (he is called stupid after all), and some are not strongly holiday themed. The hunt lasts through the remainder of the month, and the locations along with hints and preview photos are on the hunt's website to guide you though. The arrows we are looking for are gold with a red heart tip, and when you click to purchase it might be easiest to aim for that heart tip or golden feathers on the other end since the shaft is pretty narrow and tricky to click. I have mentioned plenty of times before that I will gladly wear holiday themed fashions before or after the day of their holiday, since the season doesn't end until I decide it does ;) What I mean is that Valentines was only a couple of days ago, so I feel no shame in enjoying these for a while.
This intriguing dress is our hunt prize from MOoH! called Becky, and I couldn't resist when I saw all those slender straps. It comes in standard sizes for classic avatars as well as versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 6 color options, and I think cupid may have influenced me to choose the bold red as one of the two I showed you above.
Find the arrow at Emerald Couture, and you can claim their EC Luv N Kisses for just one linden :) It includes the top, skirt, and full outfit (both linked) each in eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, and having the separate pieces means that you can match them up with other wardrobe favorites as well for variety. I enjoy the slight asymmetry of the skirt, both waistband and hemline, and the way the ruffles are coordinated to contrast perfectly. The little lip prints are a nod to Valentines Day while still being appropriate for any day of the year.
This effortlessly elegant dress comes from the arrow at Ema's Secret, their Sam Dress TSCH8 Gift. It comes in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizing, and features a deep burgundy shade with a subtle paisley pattern embellished on the skirt. It looks to be materials enabled, since I see a touch of reflectivity on the upper left (my avi's left that is) chest, so I suggest wearing this near a light source and see what happens :)
Ooohh, this is a playful style! Allow me to introduce the AC Lucy - Valentine Dress from Aurora's Closet, with an eye-catching peekaboo opening and a wraparound section with hearts that is tied at the waist. This beauty comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing.
For my final look of the evening, I chose the hunt prize from BlondeQueen which is their BQ::Duo Top & Skirt:: Valentine Stupid Cupid outfit. Each piece includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, with a solid colored skirt and patterned wisp of a top that says Be Mine and Love in gold with hearts and cupids.
