Hiya everyone! Tonight it is my pleasure to invite you to the 5th anniversary round of the Redeux event, where we can help them celebrate by joining their free group and claiming lots of generous gifts from nearly every participating designer. This round is open until the 30th of April, so we have plenty of time to visit, grab demos, claim those group gifts, and do some enjoyable shopping.
My first look this evening is the gift from -zOOm- called Rainn Top & Skirt. It includes sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a HUD for the shirt that lets us choose from 6 different textures. The lovely skirt stays the same neutral black, and the cropped tee looks wonderful in any of the patterns we get to pick from.
Next I slipped into one of the 3 gifts I found at various displays from Faida, this one being the flirty Faith Green dress. It has a metal belt built in to hold the daringly slit skirt in place, and comes in Maitreya and Petite mesh body sizes. This flattering frock can work as a camisk as well as a revealing dress.
This beauty is the Faida - Coco Rose gift, a jacket style dress with wide boat neckline trimmed with ruffles that match the pockets, and double rows of buttons all the way down the front. The gift includes Maitreya and Petite versions. I think it would frame a short necklace or choker beautifully, and the hem is just short enough to layer some leggings beneath if you wish.
All the rain outside in RL makes me want to visit a sunny tropical region in SL, so what better to wear than our Bikini Bekkie red gift from SLC? It has just a touch of sheen so it looks to be either leather or latex, and both pieces come in sizes for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Mini mesh bodies. I'm sure you noticed the tattoo on my left thigh as well, so I am very happy to share that it is also a Redeux gift from Panther Tattoo. Their adorable Usagi Tattoo comes in a system/BOM layer along with appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, and Omega, so it is compatible with most mesh bodies as well as classic avatars. The precious lop bunny is wearing a crown of flowers, making for a very heartwarming image.
It seems fitting to have dessert for my final look of the evening :) The generously topped ice cream cone in my right hand here is the 0070 Candy Cream and kittens Love Kittens from Mushilu, and it might be almost too cute to eat! The top two scoops are snuggly kitties, complete with bright red hearts floating above that are a perfect match for my bikini hue. I am oddly fascinated with SL food, partly because it always has such incredible detail and partly due to not being able to eat so many foods in RL that it lets me get my 'fix' virtually. Just think, no calories and no allergens, just a tasty treat with a built in bento hold pose.
It has been raining off and on for several hours here, and will be for a few more apparently. The good news is that it will stop well before my dentist appointment tomorrow, so I can get this little cavity fixed without being out in bad weather. No blog tomorrow evening because of the nitrous, but I will be back Wednesday with some new looks at affordable prices.
