Ukraine Strong

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I was inspired by the news to reiterate my support for Ukraine with some thoughtful gifts found on the SL marketplace. So many designers are sharing items with the colors of the Ukrainian flag or their coat of arms to represent how they feel about the people of Ukraine who deserve peace and love. It is simple to find these and plenty of other offerings on the marketplace by searching "Ukraine" and sorting however you prefer. I chose newest items and set a price point of $0L - $10L, and you can narrow it down further by choosing a category like apparel. 

My first selection is the Kateryna Outfit Ukrain Strong from The Vale, and it is just $1L on the marketplace. The tube top and shorts are linked together and worn as one piece, which is included in Cinnamon/Chai, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Signature Alice, and Tonic Curvy mesh body sizes. The blue band on the top says "STRONG" in yellow, combining of course the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

Next we see the lovely Kittykisses- Ukraine Dress, which is a free gift with the colors of the Ukraine flag in hearts on the bodice and colorblock segments on the back and skirt. There are sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies provided. I especially like the way the top is designed like a racerback tank top, a flattering combination with the fluttery skirt. 

Norma Underwood is offering a set of shirts as their marketplace gift, called Ukraine Jersey. There is a mesh version for Maitreya bodies as well as system/BOM layers in blue and yellow (shown on the right above) varieties, all with the Ukrainian coat of arms on the front. I am wearing them with another marketplace freebie that has appeared here on my blog many times for its versatility, the Delizio jeans fatpack. There are several colors in system/BOM layers and appliers for Omega and Maitreya.

Next we have the free gift from Goddess creations, their Ukraine Outfit Maitreya Only. As the name implies, it is currently available just in a size for the Maitreya mesh body, and consists of the tank top, shorts that are laced on each side, and fun strappy shoes that are each in one of the flag colors. The hearts are a caring touch, aren't they?

My final look this evening is the beautiful Marvelous gift called Cardigan, top, skirt - Support for Ukraine. Believe it or not, this is all connected and worn as one easy piece which makes getting dressed a cinch! It includes Altamura, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Lucy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous body sizes. The sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine and therefore is a popular symbol among creations supporting them in these troubled times. From the gently bared shoulder to the high slit on the right side of the skirt, this style is a winner in my book that is an excellent choice for spring too. 

It was a busy day (which suited not having to teleport all over the place in SL) but at least I got some RL things taken care of, like my podiatrist appointment. No badly ingrown toenails, so more of a routine maintenance type visit today, and that means no bandages or achy tootsies ;) Thanks to neuropathy (nerve pain) I have compared the ingrown removal process to feeling like I kicked a taser, so you can imagine my relief at not needing that done. Tomorrow I'm having dinner at my parents', then Saturday is the farmers market that I love visiting, so I have lots to look forward to :) I hope you're all having a fantastic day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
