Shopping and Hopping

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some Holiday Shop & Hop gift to share, this time from the Forsythia region which is one of 18 to explore there. Each region has 20 designers, all of whom have their best seasonal wares for sale including discounts, and of course the generous gifts :) Those are what I'll be showing here, and I really enjoy doing this because it reminds all of you to enjoy some shopping and free treats now that the big holiday is over. The season is still here, and a brand new year is just around the corner, so our wardrobes could probably use a little refreshing. 

My first look this evening is a gorgeous top from BONNICCI called Amber XMAS. This flirtatious top looks heart shaped in the front, and can be worn either with or without the puffy sleeves which are gathered above the elbow and at the wrist. Each is provided in Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes, with a fun pattern of green and white Santa hats on a bright red background. What will you wear yours with first?

I had to laugh at the Stiff - Noctern Shirt - Extra 6 gift, which says "When you're dead inside but it's Christmas" over and beneath a skeleton wearing a Santa hat while holding a green bauble :) It could be interpreted as Goth, but I think it also suits anyone who is just tired of this season. There is sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included of this cropped short sleeve tee. If I weren't happily rocking my Delizio jeans, I would probably wear this with red and green plaid leggings or a sassy little skirt.

Look who found another top! This cinched tube top is our Ruxy-Cristina gift, and a quite versatile one at that. It is created to fit Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies, and includes a HUD with 10 colors each for the top and the gems in the middle of the stars. Mixing and matching is always fun, and this way we can wear it with just about any pants or skirts we desire :)

It's so cold outside in RL right now that the !APHORISM! - Trench Coat Bordeaux [Ltd Ed Gift] is absolutely right up my alley. Our new coat has four pockets, a slim attached belt, and several large buttons to help us keep it snug around our curves. The gift includes sizes for Classic, Classic Dainty, Curvy, Freya, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies, along with a HUD offering 12 colors each for the belt, pockets, and buttons. I like the idea of the pockets matching the main coat as I did on the right, but then I couldn't resist giving the belt and buttons the same pop of color. 

My final look tonight is the adorable @rOrO Sadie Xmas Set Dress. How was everyone's Christmas? Mine was pretty good, despite a few hiccups with the food. I've mentioned before that my parents and I make pizzas on Christmas day, and that my parents have to eat gluten free...well sometimes they have trouble finding gluten free pizza dough, and they tried a new brand that was refrigerated (not frozen) and it was just not cooperating. She had them sitting on their individual greased trays, and then tried to stretch them out like usual...they wouldn't spread and cracked instead, just tearing into chunks. A rolling pin didn't help, and eventually she got two pieced together about an inch thick and looking like a bizarre mosaic, LOL! My parents used those, and for mine we used a frozen crust that she usually has for quiches. She said it was the worst pizza she's had in her life, but my dad didn't seem to care because he'll pretty much eat anything. Mine was fine, and I have leftovers for tomorrow or whenever. We all laughed a lot at the absurdity of the situation, and it'll be a fond funny memory like the time at Thanksgiving 30+ years ago when my great aunt (a phenomenal cook/baker) made pumpkin pie with salt instead of sugar. The farmers market is canceled tomorrow because of snow and icy weather, so it'll be a cozy day at home with hot tea and catching up on TV and things :) I hope you all have a fantastic weekend ahead, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Malus Park Winter Wonderland

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're enjoying the Malus Park Winter Wonderland shopping event, where you can find lots of exclusive offers as well as gifts for $25L or less. Sometimes at this time of year, we forget to treat ourselves nicely in between being so busy helping others and picking out gifts for friends and family, but I promise that you deserve to reward yourself as well :) We have over a week left to stop by the beautifully decorated region, as the event is open until the 4th of January. My first look of the evening is a fantastic exclusive offer called *MARTINES*JOY1, one of several varieties for $75L apiece. This fabric pattern caught my eye because it whispers Christmas elegance, and the two piece outfit lets us show off a hint of midriff. I'm always eager to see what Psyche's Pstyles is offering for events (and hunts), so I was particularly delighted with their Winter Stars Dress. It's an exclusive offer for Winter Wonderland at $200L, and it consists of the strapless tube dress and cute bolero with choker style strap. They are each provided in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, and there is a HUD for each piece with 6 colors of the starry pattern. The versatility is absolutely a plus, and the stars are making me think of New Year's Eve for some reason :)

I did mention there are gifts from each brand too, and the one from ~MystRie~ is free! What better way to wrap up this festive post than with a pose where I get to hold candy canes in a heart shape? I'll be spending the day making pizzas with my parents, as we've done for as long as I can remember, just something fun and different to relax and spend time together. The weather is going to be cold and possibly white, lol, so I am preparing for just about anything. For me, this time of year is about love - for friends and family, for neighbors and acquaintances, and generally caring about everyone and wishing the best for all. I'm also going to enjoy a day off from blogging so I can get my inventory a bit organized, LOL, as we all know that December can really add some heft there. Happy Anniversary Sense Event

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'll be sharing some treats from the Sense Event and their 8th anniversary round. That does usually mean that the designers will offer gifts for the event's group, and these are in pretty black bags. Just join the free group if you aren't already a member, and have fun exploring the shopping area while clicking those goodies :) I want to wish the Sense Event a very happy anniversary and continued success in the future.

First up, we have a flirty retro treat called Melody Arielle// FATPACK. I feel like this style reminds me of either Marilyn Monroe or Sophia Loren, both iconic beauties just like our gift :) We receive Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes, along with a HUD that offers 20 solid colors and 20 patterns. Most of the patterns are floral prints, but if you try them all you can find some others if flowers aren't your vibe.

Next we take a peek at the gorgeous B! Fashion - Green Sequins Mini Dress, a gift that I did show you in red as a gift from another event recently so I'm going to suggest you click the tag for the store at the very bottom if you want that one too :) This dress fits Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, and appears a very deep green that looks more sparkly when you add the Shine Enhancer that is also provided. It's a very subtle light that makes those sequins more noticeable, and I am wearing it here so you can tell it's not like the facelights of a decade ago that could guide planes to land on SL runways ;) 

The gift from ~Rany~ consists of 3 colors of their sexy Mrs Claus Dress, each packed individually with sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I'm wearing the red on the left, and the baby girl on the right, so I wonder if you can guess the other version not shown? For my final look of the evening, I'm enjoying our gift from Allure Couture called Jessica Club Dress Set Gold. The sequins on the dress and the bows on the back of the shoes have a disco ball feeling because of the shape, which is another good reason to wear it this weekend or one of the holidays.

Oh my goodness, how is it almost Christmas already? I know, I know...we've been counting down by gathering all those Advent treats, yet some part of my brain is refusing to believe it's so soon. I have to cancel my outing for tomorrow because of repairs being done and the need to be home for it, which is not a big deal but I do want to keep my momentum in getting out of the house often :) That will be easier once the holiday traffic settles down. I had a great time playing Hello Kitty and chatting with my friend, and we're already planning our Animal Crossing sessions together too when their new content is out in a few weeks. We're casual cozy gamers at heart, and we get to talk about things like new restaurants in each area and what shows we're watching. Winter Hunt Woodland

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings us to the Fashion Sales group's Winter Hunt Woodland, which is a sales event with group gifts, an Advent calendar, and a hunt for $0L - $25L prizes in cute stickers around the whole area. I'm showing a mix of things, starting with a couple of the group gifts found in pretty boxes under the tree nearest the landing area. No group tag is needed for the hunt prizes, but you need it for some of the prior Advent calendar days; a few are set for sale for $0L so anyone can grab them :) The gifts themselves are not necessarily holiday themed, so don't be afraid to pick these up even if you are getting ready to move on from Christmas stuff. I'm still perfectly fine with it, but also completely understand if you are not.

My first look is a flirty group gift from Sugar Dolls called [SD] NADIA. The top and shorts are each provided in Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, along with a HUD that offers 40 textures for each. Some of them are an open weave, so we can add to the sex appeal even more if we wish :) 

I feel like I'm in my showgirl era with the {SD} HONNIE FATPACK group gift! The top, corset, skirt, bows, diamonds, and gloves are all separates in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Most of the pieces have red, white, and black versions so we even get to mix and match :) I am simply loving all of the possibilities here.

Next I changed into a free hunt prize, the {EB} SHANTY fatpack from Ewa Boutique. It also has side openings that are held loosely with two little straps on each side, so we are showing off considerable skin while covering the necessities. Don't you love how I try to make it sound innocent and polite, instead of just telling you that your nipples are sufficiently covered? LOL! 

My final look of the evening is one of the Advent gifts that are still available on the wall near the tree. It is called {EB} PAN PINK and comes from Ewa Boutique, and consists of the top, sleeves, and shorts as separate pieces. They will all fit Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We also receive a HUD with 30 choices for the top, 30 for the sleeves, 40 denim for the shorts, and 30 for the ribbon that is laced through the sides of the shorts. This way we get to mix and match, and I really like the way the ribbon drapes back down over the shorts :) We could pair the top and sleeves with longer pants if we wanted something more wintry, or omit the sleeves for a warmer weather look.

Somehow it's 66.6 in here, so it's chilly as hell? It doesn't feel too awful, but that particular number just amused me ;) I've been seeing the number 444 a lot lately, and I have a vague notion that repeated digits like that are called angel numbers and each have a significance but no idea what exactly my 444 means. Slay Vs Sleigh Event

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we've got another fantastic event to visit, the Slay vs Sleigh from TSS (The Saturday Sale). Come get festive, fierce or both! There are seasonal discounted offers as well as year round ones, and some are Goth flavored, so there's an impressive variety for this time of year. As I'm sure you have guessed, there are also group gifts for the TSS group, in gift boxes of red, green, or black. They are the long flat type that you might use for clothing, which amused me because that is my focus here as usual :) Since many gifts are Christmas themed, I do suggest you get there quickly, although it is open until the 3rd of January.

For my first look of the evening, our [simpleCUTE] Christmas Cutie gift really caught my eye. It has the most adorable knit pattern on the skirt layer, Santa and Ho Ho Ho against a black background to really pop. The bright red short sleeved top layer is the perfect red to match Santa's hat, and these are linked together to wear all at once in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. I really like the way the skirt has straps that remind me of overalls but thinner, curving around the chest to help accentuate it. The skirt has fun little ties on each side too at the hem, just another charming detail :)

I just realized that I'm humming "Blue Christmas" because of the lovely [Flaneur] Evalia Dress Sky gift :) I have also spent the last few weeks listening to holiday music that has included several versions of the song of course, but the stunning color of this dress is certainly an inspiration. There are sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included. The neckline frames the cleavage and would show off your favorite necklace quite nicely, don't you think?

I really hope you're using a PBR-compatible viewer, so you can appreciate The Frostbound by Axolotl PBR "Pine" gift as I surely do. It has soft fleecy looking fur on the collar and cuffs, with abstract stitching on the shiny fabric. There's also a HUD with 3 colors for the C-string, so we can change the look of it if we wish.

Next I paired two gifts for a playful combination that I am really enjoying. The top is our SNS GOTH CHRISTMAS TOP GIFT from Sugar & Spice, the ideal choice for when you want to watch Nightmare Before Christmas or just want to mix holiday spirit with something moodier. It fits Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu bodies, and the design has ornaments like skulls, tombstones, and red bats. As for the skirt, that would be the [FLIRT] Milana skirt-fatpack gift, a wonderful miniskirt with high waist and softly ruffled hem. The Blackstone - Brielle Set PBR - Green gift is looking more of a bright teal blue in my lighting, but that is part of the fun of PBR I guess :) The halter top has a sweet bow on the back, and the knee length pencil skirt is zippered up the back with a HUD that lets us pick from 6 metals for that zipper. It was a much more peaceful day here, and I mostly caught up on sleep (it wasn't as restful sleeping at my parents' Friday night because I'm not used to hearing their grandfather clock chiming every 15 minutes, etc.) and prepared for the group therapy session tomorrow evening. I usually write down notes about my outings and stressors, which could have filled an entire sheet of paper this time. Things are okay though, and it could have been far worse so I am grateful that things worked out decently. ACCESS HW Winterland

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm inviting you to the HW Winterland event from ACCESS, where the ACCESS group (free to join) will let you claim lots of generous gifts from stockings hanging at most of the displays. If you're amazed that I'm still finding more and more events with holiday gifts to share, LOL, I would say that A) so am I, yet B) that speaks highly of the generosity of SL's designers. I'd even add a C), buckle up because I'm still finding new ones somehow!

My first look is the Dernier: "Nathalia" Dress - FATPACK. This sleek and generous gift has a cinched waist that means we need to add the provided alpha layer, and there are 15 colors and 4 gloss levels to choose from on the HUD. Our mini halter dress with the crossed straps will fit Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies.

Honestly, my jaw dropped when I tried on our LEROY - Blair Dress v2 - Red Dahlia gift! Look at that shine, and those sweet pinstripes that accentuate our curves :) There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. I feel like the vibrant red hue is terrific for Christmas, but will also come in handy once February rolls around and brings us Valentine's Day. No laughing, time is flying so fast lately that it really will be here before we know it ;)

Our [Brior] Akari Knit Sweater - HW WINTERLAND gift gives me such a cozy and warm feeling, which I particularly needed this weekend :) The cropped red sweater has pale gold seasonal designs like baubles, candy canes, and wrapped presents, and goes surprisingly well with the skirt from the prior gift I shared above. Of course, we all have tons of other options in our inventories to pair it with, so have fun deciding! My final look of the evening is our cleverly crafted cherry // Yuni Dress & Belt #8 gift. The design of the bodice is simply amazing, and our lace-edged sleeves are attached by the most slender of straps for a playful feeling. The dress and belt are separate pieces, in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I'm still trying to decide what to call this pretty color...pale red, deep coral? I love it and really need a lip gloss in RL of this shade :)

Oh my goodness, let me start by apologizing for the delay on this post, which would normally have been Friday night and I usually take Saturday evening off. However, a nasty storm system whipped through here on Friday and knocked out the power, and the generator decided to kick the bucket. Did I mention how freaking cold it is too? So I went to dinner at my parents' a few hours after the power outage started, and wound up spending the night. Yes I had to pop back home to pack some things in the dark and cold, lol, but it was worth it to be warm and safe. My parents are very kind, and I am incredibly grateful to them for taking me in again as they did over the summer when the AC conked out. The power company didn't expect to have things restored until 11PM tonight, like a couple of hours ago, but fortunately they got things handled before noon :) So after letting the house warm up (47 degrees in this room was too bleeping cold!) slowly, I got some more rest and am now able to post these photos I took in the wee hours of Friday morning. I'm also struggling to not be angry with the housemate in whose name everything is related to the generator and who dropped the ball several times on getting it repaired, but that negativity would just harm my own mental health so I must let it go. Elsa was right ;) I have so much more that I wanted to share around Christmas and simply had to switch my 'night off' instead of taking an extra, especially when every time I think I am aware of all the potential events, SL says "hold my beer - with built in Bento pose". *deep breaths* I hope you are all having a magnificent weekend, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

MGSN Gift Train

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a train ride, the MGSN Christmas Train :) That is the Maitreya Gifts, Sales and News group, which is currently free to join, and the train is a listing of stores who are offering special gifts this season. Some of them have other MGSN group gifts too, and I've enjoyed this event for the past few years so I was very happy to see it again for 2025. Please check the group notices for a notecard with the gifts list, as it has the landmarks and photos. When you arrive at each stop, you can look for the train's sign to see where your new treat is :) I've been slower than molasses this year with all the December events and hunts, lol, so it's bothering me that it took me this long to get a chance to share our wonderful train gifts but I do hope you have time to claim and enjoy. My first stop was KyaraFashion for their playful .:KF:.Turmalina Outfit. It consists of the top and jacket (one piece), skirt, chain, socks, and boots, all in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Extra fun bonus - there are undress scripts in every piece! You or someone of your choice can click the pieces for a menu to strip them off, for a little roleplay or romance. 

Our *.:Dark Cat:.*CO-DORINA XMAS OUTFIT is a very thoughtful gift with loads of features. Its dress in versions with and without fur trim, heels, coverups (pasties), and thong will all fit Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We also get some lovely accessories - bags for left and right hands, earrings, rose for the hair, and hat that we can click to choose from 3 colors. There are several HUDs included too, with 40 colors each for the bag, belt, dress, ribbon, fur, lace, pompom, shoes, and sole, then 15 colors each for coverups and thong. Basically if you see it here, there's probably a way to adjust its color :) 

This charming full length gown is our Belle Epoque - Denise - Xmas gift. Isn't it stunning? The red top is seamed like a corset, and the skirt flows out with a fun pattern of festive artwork. There are sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies provided. 

Since life isn't all ballrooms and parties, even in SL, I really do appreciate the casual side of fashion too :) A fantastic example would be our [COSMOS] Meika Vest, Top, & Pants Outfit gift, which I claimed by paying $1L and was automatically refunded as the gift was delivered to me. The top, vest, pants, and belt are all designed for Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Petite X mesh bodies. We also receive a HUD with 5 colors each for top, vest, pants, and 3 for the belt, but the HUD did not work for me even though I tried removing and reattaching all clothing and the HUD a few times. I did have some unusual glitches and lag earlier so I will try again very soon :) 

My final look of the night is the cutest one in my humble opinion, the !PCP :: Holly Sweater [Reindear] gift from Pink Cream Pie. I couldn't help but laugh when I realized our new reindeer friend is wearing a sweater with a self portrait on it, or at least a dear (pun intended) friend? The pattern surrounding them is sweet too, presents and candy canes with hearts and stockings galore. This gift includes Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizing, along with a HUD for the built in panties which can be your choice of 24 colors. We can also toggle the dress (skirt portion) and the panties on or off with this handy HUD.

Peace On Earth

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're continuing the Peace On Earth 16 Hunt, looking for the earth itself in globe form. Each one you find at participating stores will reward you with a free prize, and there are two ways to navigate the hunt - either with the website that has links and hints, or the HUD from the hunt's headquarters that will teleport you from spot to spot. I've been a fan of this hunt since its beginning, and it is exciting to see it continuing to spread a message of peace and generosity.

This fantastic prize is the dirty kitten Beatrix Outfit FATPACK, which caught my eye as the perfect fit for a day of shopping, hunting, or collecting tons of Advent gifts :) The sweater has a scarf draped around the neck, and both it and the low cut flare jeans are provided in Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. We even receive a HUD for the sweater with 12 colors to choose from, all of which naturally go great with the stonewashed denim of the jeans. I'd also like to mention that this store is one of 3 participants in the same shopping center, so be sure to check out the other stores :)

Next I changed into the Ink Blots POE16 Female Gift, which is one of two gifts in their globe since they do offer a male gift as well. Our ruffled blouse and asymmetrical skirt are each included in a classic M and a fitmesh M for classic avatars, and sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. While they are very well known for their tattoos, I do appreciate that for hunts, Ink Blots usually provides fashion treats for men and women. This way I always know that it'll be worth it for Xan to help me with my hunting :) 

You'll find 2 globes at CloudNine, one of which contains Her Snow Good Olive Sweater (and the other is His sweater of course). This time of year, I'm only up to 'snow good' rather than 'no good', and right now that's mostly because there is so much snow in my RL area ;) The trio of snow people seem to be enjoying the falling flakes, don't they? Our beautifully knit top is provided in Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh body sizing. It goes really well with the white pair of Delizio jeans from their marketplace gift, but I'm sure you can come up with lots of other fun ways to wear this versatile top.

The :: pm :: Deer Onesie prize from PurpleMoon is such a cuddly looking outfit, and great for this season! The outfit itself is one piece, in sizes for Gen X Classic, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with the Oh Deer headpiece as a separate accessory. Now if you inadvertently play "Find the Difference" with the two sides of my photo, you might notice that I am barefoot on the left but am sporting heels on the right...that's because we also receive a HUD for the boots to turn them on and off. What it really hides is the shoe portion, like a closed toe stiletto pump, rather than the full boot which I'd expect to include the fur portion. That stays put since it matches our sleeves so well :) The headpiece with lights strung across the antlers is a clever addition since the lights do provide a soft glow, and the ears are just too cute.

My final look of the night is the :.C!L.: Boutique treat called Gemma Sleeveless Layered Ruffled Dress & Top Hat, and I am absolutely feeling festive in it! The dress fits Gen X Classic, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies, and there are 3 versions of the hat included. Two have mistletoe and are posed slightly differently on the head, to accommodate your hairstyle, and the other is without the mistletoe. Not everyone wants to wear an invitation for random strangers to smooch them, lol, and it really depends on where you plan on wearing it. That full skirt on the dress is simply divine, with high-low hem that brings a certain magic that I always appreciate.

It was an adventure of a day here, as going out this time of year is almost always bound to be. Every place is automatically more crowded it seems, then going to a newly opened Trader Joe's is an added dose of chaos. All in all, it went relatively smoothly though, and I clearly have survived because I'm here now ;) I picked up a few little treats to reward myself, and I sampled a butter waffle cookie with chocolate mascarpone on it, YUM! That was an indulgent sample, and I wouldn't be able to eat much of that or very often because of how rich and filling it is, but it was delicious. I've got my gaming plans for tomorrow evening to look forward to, and another event is starting tomorrow in Hello Kitty Island Adventure so that'll be fun too. Speaking of events, I've read about 3 new-to-me SL events in the last couple of hours so I am going to be a frantically busy magpie soon. Enchanted Realms Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I found out about the Jingle Bell Event at Enchanted Realms, a fun shopping event with lots of seasonal or year-round exclusive offers and sales. As you can probably guess, there are also tons of generous gifts for the free group, and some of those are what you'll be seeing here this evening :) We are always so spoiled this time of year with a bounty of gifts, and I wish I had time to thank each designer individually for all of their generosity. At this event, please look for the wrapped boxes that are easy to spot in each display, and give them a click with that group tag active. You'll get to spend some time unpacking dozens of goodies like I did :)

My first look is the wonderful GS Jordan FITMESH Dress PERIWINKLE gift from Gidget's Style. The sweater and skirt are separates, each provided in Gen X Classic/Dainty, Gen X Curvy/Dainty, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. Our skirt has a built in belt, and the sweater is opened just enough to bare a little bit of cleavage. 

I kept on that skirt to share another great gift, the Duet Sienna Sweater Festive Gift. Its sleeves remind me of Juliet style, but they are usually fuller up top I think, but whatever you may call it I am absolutely a fan :) The subtle knit texture is lovely too, and that cowl neck is ideal for winter. There are sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies. I think it would also pair nicely with jeans or leggings.

The secret to making those sequins really pop is to wear the shine enhancer which is included, a very subtle light that helps show how the texture responds to light sources. My final look of the night is our @rOrO Prisha Dress Xmas gift, and their social media post is how I found out about this event in the first place :) So I owe Rowan lots of gratitude for the info and this intriguing seasonal beauty, in traditional red and green hues with an open back and burnished gold chain belt. We receive Erika, Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Star mesh body sizes. I feel like simple flats or sandals and a choker whose metal matches the belt would be ideal accessories, but I also view all of my photos and mentions as "serving suggestions" like you see on frozen food boxes ;) Your way of doing things will look different because we're all unique, and we get to enjoy that variety and personalize things just right for our own tastes or moods. 

It was a fairly calm day here, which might sound like an unusual description but it's the first word that popped into my head :) I didn't go anywhere and there have been no critters downstairs (traps are empty at least) so nobody had to go releasing frantic mice at a snowy park or woods. Sometimes quiet is a very good thing, especially with a busy day ahead. Tomorrow I'm going out early, so I have to get my blog pics and notes taken care of very quickly before my pre-outing nap, might not even have time for Advent collecting until I get home. It would be tempting to skip an evening of blogging, but there's so much more that I want to share that I just cannot justify it.
