Hiya everyone! Tonight we are taking a look at the Back To Cool Hunt from FabFree in SL. The participating designers got to decide how many prizes to hide in the pretty neon rainbows, and the price from $0L - $5L each. It's no secret that I am a huge longtime fan of the FabFree blog, and consider their group to be one of my essential, permanent group slot holders :) So of course their periodic hunts that offer such amazing bargains from so many generous stores makes me exceptionally happy. The back to school (but cool) theme has really brought out the best of their creativity too, some focusing on particular classes and others leaning towards the 'cool' aspect, but all providing prizes that are bound to captivate your attention like they did for me. Just be sure to follow the hints on the website to make sure you are finding the correct prize for the stores who are offering more than one, and it's just always helpful to have a guideline for seeking out the prize/s.
Our first stop is The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co., a longtime favorite of mine with 2 wonderful prizes to find in their rainbows. The GAME OVER Tee is their $3L prize, while the ROCK ON Tee is just as affordable at $5L. There are 5 standard sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions of each prize, so they fit an impressive range of avatars. Plus they are just so fun, one nod to school starting again and the other bringing the cool with a little rock n' roll.
Over at Emerald Couture, there are 3 rainbows containing a trio of playful prizes that suit the hunt's theme just right. This is their free EC Freya Outfit Leopard, with cropped top and skirt with overalls all linked together and worn as one. It fits Gen X Classic, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. That 'love' image on the shirt is so clever, comprised of school related items and little hints of leopard print to match the skirt.
One of the two $5L prizes at Emerald Couture is this beautiful EC Raya Outfit Burgundy, with long sleeved sweetheart neckline top and pleated denim mini skirt which can be worn individually. They fit Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kupra Ups, Legacy, Nerido, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy mesh bodies. Did you notice the burgundy belt on the skirt and how nicely it matches the top? Details like that definitely matter to me, making this extra special.
Next we have two of the 5 fantastic $5L treats from Entice :) Their Cherry Popsicle Top - Red is a flirty halter top in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The vibrant color makes me think of apples for the teacher, and it goes really well with the pattern on our Entice - Cherry Popsicle Skirt & Panties - Plaid prize. Both pieces fit Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, and are separates so you could slip out of either at any time ;) As someone who wore plaid school uniforms for many years, I can see the nod to school time but also appreciate the all-grown-up styling. As for the other prizes, well they are cosmetics so eyeshadow, lipstick, and even some great nail appliers with crayon designs so keep on looking!
My final look holds two of the 4 prizes from Meander, all of which are $2L apiece. Their M/M Art Class Dress has such an impressive array of colors, with a huge yellow heart on the back that I hadn't even noticed until I did that rear pose ♥. There are eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique body sizes included in this prize. As for my footwear, that'd be the adorable M/M Flea Market Sneakers - Stripe hunt prize, tiptoe sneakers that fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink feet perfectly. They pair beautifully with the dress, but can also go well with your favorite jeans and a random colorful top of your choosing too.
Today has been a rough day with anxiety and stomach issues (which are most likely connected), so I've spent a lot of the evening trying to remind myself that progress is not linear and this isn't a full setback. At least I have ginger ale handy and know lots of breathing techniques that might help. The weather is rainy but not stormy, so I don't mind that much.
