Still Shopping and Hopping

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is all about the gifts from the Lavendar region of SL21B Shop & Hop. As I've mentioned before, this is part of the 21st birthday of Second Life, the shopping part ;) But all 480 participating designers (24 regions, 4 of which are adult) are offering gifts as well as selling selected merchandise for discounted prices, so it is a must-visit for anyone interested in saving some lindens while finding high quality fashion, decor, etc. I'm always excited to dig into these events, and FabFree has thoughtfully put together a spreadsheet of links, gift images, and color coded them by type so you can find exactly what you need. The celebration has just a few more days left, so be sure to visit by the 21st!

My first look of the evening is the [MSN Design] Lina Dress [FATPACK], a generous gift indeed. This lovely halter mini dress is softly gathered in the front and has a flirty plunging neckline. It fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, and includes a HUD with 20 colors each in solid or subtle texture (looks sparkly!) as seen on the left above. It really looks terrific in any color you select in either texture :)

In the midst of a RL heatwave, all I can think about is how great it would feel to be in a nice soothing pool somewhere, so now my avi can enjoy the same in our *SM* Gift 21 SLBD from Second Moon. The bra and panties are each provided in Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Maitreya, Reborn, Juicy Boobs, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with lots of magic in the HUD :) That offers satin, metallic, and wet texturing, with solid/sheer/off options and laces choices 2/1/0 which affect the beads shown on the ends. By the way, if you turn the texture "off" it leaves behind a glowy tan line instead of any fabric, very sexy! If I recall correctly, I'm wearing it as solid satin on the left and sheer wet fabric to the right.

Since I enjoy mixing and matching, I kept the bottoms of the Second Moon bikini on and added a different top - the EVIE - Tender Crop Top - GIFT. This flirty little number has sizes for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included, as well as a HUD with 30 colors each for the top and the strings. I chose a couple of hues that mimicked the bikini bottom a bit on the left, then went rogue on the right, LOL. Since this will pair beautifully with your favorite jeans, shorts, pants, or skirts, you can easily match it to anything you want.

The .:FlowerDreams:. Lore Dress is a beautiful nod to the store name with its myriad of floral patterns. There are 12 via HUD to choose from, as well as 12 coordinating colors for the chain belt. That fun belt and the dress itself are each designed to fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, and Reborn bodies. The dress looks just as pretty without the belt if you prefer, although I personally enjoy having the edgy double row of chain links in a slightly contrasting hue.

My final look tonight is the AlaFolie - CELESTE gift, which contains a pair of full-length dresses in bold colors. The noir and rouge (black and red, both seen above) versions each come in sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Senra Jamie mesh bodies. That last body intrigues me as I've never tried it on yet, but it is in all of our inventories in the library section automatically so one of these days I really need to give it a whirl :) Both colors have a golden yellow polka dot pattern, and the flowing style is a nice choice for a formal event in the hot weather. We can easily dress this up or down with the jewelry we select, and even the hairstyle we wear can make it look more fancy or casual.

It was quite a day, more so than I anticipated actually. I went to the primary care doctor for the 3rd time ever so far, and I asked if she thought we should switch me to a different medication since the first try isn't sitting well with me. She agreed and prescribed something else, so when the pharmacy has that ready in a few days (delays, sigh) I'll be immediately switching to that. The heat was just awful, and I had a fair bit of anxiety from that as much as being in the car. Once I got home, I seemed to lose any sense of bravado from being 'in public' and basically fell apart. There were many tears and much frustration, but I am feeling a bit better emotionally tonight :) The heat is still getting to me, and the next two days are going to be even hotter so that is just something I've got to figure out how to deal with for now. I urge everyone in the hotter areas of the world right now to check on friends and neighbors who might not be coping with the temperatures as well as we'd like to see. If they lose power or their air conditioner/fans aren't working, it could really be dangerous for them. Not trying to worry anyone, just want to spread a little message of caring and reminding you to look out for each other ♥. Life's A Beach

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm excited to show you some of the many prizes and exclusive offers for the CMH Life's A Beach Hunt 4. There are $1L prizes as well as $25L exclusives and $50L exclusives, all hidden inside cute beach chairs at each location. It's up to the individual designers to decide which price points to offer, and some have more than one so that makes following the hints on the website even more important :) That website will help you not only with hints but also preview images and all the landmarks. Cheeky Monkey Hunts is a sponsor of mine, but I'd be tickled pink to share these items regardless and I think you'll see why...

My first look of the night is the charming ST - Lustre prize from Simple Terms, and it's a $25L hunt exclusive. The swimsuit with beautiful scalloped texture is provided in Maitreya and Star mesh body sizes, and we also receive the drink cup with holding pose as shown, sunglasses for atop the head, and a woven decor beach bag (not shown) that has some towels rolled up inside. I love the way the cup coordinates with the pink hues on the swimsuit, and the sunglasses are a classic addition to any beach look.

Another treat that is spot on with the theme is our $25L exclusive offer from GoodVibes. It's simply named Life is a Beach Cheeky Monkey Hunt Exclusive, and consists of the swimsuit, pareo, and corded heels all in sizing for Maitreya and Star mesh bodies. The sunglasses are also included in 2 versions. Did you notice the adorable pattern on the swimsuit? It's cheeky monkeys! ♥ The pareo or wrap is sheer so we can still see their antics through it, and the hot pink coloring is always a winner in my book. 

Next we go from monkeys to fish, showing off more of the cute side of the animal kingdom :) This terrific $1L prize is the [Ari-Pari] Retro Fish Outfit, and for this image I switched to my Lara X body for a moment. That's because the sizes include Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There's also a handy HUD with 5 colors apiece for top and shorts, with a school of colorful fish on the print for our shorts. It really made me want to watch Finding Nemo again, LOL, or even The Little Mermaid to see Flounder again. The slightly bared midriff and loose fit of the outfit are terrific for summer, fun and casual.

Starlight Apparel has two $1L hunt prizes waiting for us, and I'm showing off both at once here. Their .{SA}. Erys Top Orange is on the left above, with .{SA}. Erys Top Blue to the right. Each are provided in sizing for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Signature Alice mesh bodies. They also both have playful zigzag patterns and slender spaghetti straps tied at the top of the shoulders with a loose bow. I'm wearing them with the white pair of the Delizio jeans that I found several years ago on the marketplace and can't seem to stop wearing, LOL, as one of my favorite free gifts I've found on there :)

My final look this evening comes from Psyche's Pstyles, their $50L exclusive Tropical Tango Dress. So pretty! The diagonal appearance thanks to the single sleeve and asymmetrical hemline makes me think of a toga, only way fancier, and the floral pattern captivated me at first glance. Find this beach chair and you'll receive Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing inside. All I'd need to add are some strappy sandals, cheery earrings, and panties or a little pastie for down below ;)

It was a sizzling hot weekend, not because I did anything exciting but because of the weather 😰. Good grief, and it's only getting hotter as the week unfurls. Therapy went well, and I have my follow-up visit with the primary care doc tomorrow afternoon. Time to find a new medication that I can tolerate better, and see what else she might have to say. I'm nervous about being in the car but not about the visit itself, since she seems really nice and caring. The Silk Road Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we head down The Silk Road, which is the name of a wonderful free hunt making its return to SL with the 2024 "On the Road Again" round. The Mieville Historical Hunts group is bringing this adventure our way, and we are searching for lanterns to light our way and give us our prizes when clicked :) The ones on the hunt signs have hints for us to help locate the gifts, so be sure to check those if you like a little guidance. The website offers all the landmarks and previews of some of the prizes, so it is handy to have open if you can. I'm finding myself crashing a lot lately and having external browsers open while in SL might not be helping, but it's the new update with PBR so it's got my system working harder than ever. I almost feel guilty suggesting you should have a website open while in SL, but if you use the internal one in Firestorm (which I never have so am very unfamiliar) that might be easier. This hunt is open until the 21st, so just over a week remaining to explore The Silk Road :)

My first look of the evening is the beautiful TMD Saree Zari Pink Set from Thistle Moon Designs. We receive the full outfit as one piece, as well as individual skirt, top, and wrap, each packaged with 3 fitmesh sizes (S, M, L) and sizing for Freya, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Reborn, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. This way we can choose to wear the entire ensemble at once or wear the individual pieces to mix and match. The bright colors add stunning appeal, as this treat is beautifully textured.

Another irresistible prize I am delighted to have found is the DANI Prishna Outfit SRH24 Prize. This outfit consists of the top, skirt, and shrug, each in Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes. As separates we can wear these in various ways, like on the right I removed the shrug for a more summery bare-shouldered appearance :) The golden embossing is just amazing, making the lowest tier of the skirt look like burnished liquid gold in motion. 

I really wanted to show off the Kittycat's Creations goodie for us, The Silk Road Tray v2, and this seemed like the perfect time since it kind of matches my outfit! The tray has a built in holding pose as shown, and there are 5 drinks upon it (cervoise, jiuguan baijiu, koji beer, koumiss, Midas touch ale) which Kitty has researched to be historically accurate from the Silk Road trade route and included a notecard about. I believe she said they are all beers. When you or anyone around you touches any of the drinks, it will distribute a mug to them which even emotes in local chat when worn :) I'm always captivated by the work and care that goes into their products, and you can see why. 

Find the lantern at Meander/Me and you'll receive your very own copy of M/M Kivah Dress FP HUD (Silk Road). This beauty is an embroidered silk mini dress with softly ruffled sleeves to match the hem, in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Freya V-Tech, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Maitreya V-Tech, Hourglass, Physique, and Star mesh bodies. There's also a HUD of course, with 10 lovely colors to choose from. It's easy to tell why I'm a fan, and I've been loving this brand since it was Lemania Indigo designs well over a decade ago.

My final look of the evening might be just right for your weekend plans, if those include a visit to a beach or pool :) It's the Violet Skies - Tropicana Bikini & Sarong prize, a gorgeous combo of bikini (one piece) and sarong so you can wear them both or slip out of the sarong whenever you see fit. Each piece fits Erika, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There is a HUD provided as well, with 2 sarong textures and 20 colors for the gems, plus 5 metals for the setting of the gems. The lacy sarong texture on the left is more sheer than the one on the right, so it provides a little extra coverage if you wish. The intricate straps caught my eye as surely as the fun tropical print, and the gemstones are just a little extra decoration to emphasize that we are as precious as jewels.

Whew, thank goodness it's Friday! My day got off to a weird start and a lack of sleep, so I skipped dinner at my parents' (nausea and severe exhaustion do not make me a good dinner companion) and tried to relax in the heat. It went okay I suppose, as I am still here to tell the tale ;) Mostly I'd prefer to have my sleep less interrupted and being able to fall back to sleep sooner would have helped too. Sometimes the brain and body just don't cooperate, shrug. I have a busy week ahead so better now than in a few days I guess. More Womenstuff Prizes

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings another generous helping of Womenstuff Hunt prizes, which you can claim with your Womenstuff group tag ($50L fee to join) by clicking the hidden red square bags with round golden handles in each location. You can use the HUD from the 'Stuff Lounge to navigate as it will teleport you from place to place, or we also have the option now of following the spreadsheet that FabFree has produced to help us all out. Many thanks to them for their hard work, and much gratitude to all the 106 designers who are a part of this wonderful hunt :) We have the entire month of July to enjoy this hunt, so my recommendation is to take your time and think over each hint carefully.

For my first look of the evening, I'm feeling fancy in the YK - Serena Dress Black prize from YOKANA. The dress and separate gloves each fit Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, with a 4 metal HUD to adjust the color of the trim. Our treat also includes diamond ribbon earrings, large hoops with black bows to match the gorgeous dress.

[C.YFashion] is offering us their *CLARA* BODY scale GREEN as the gift inside their hunt bag. The flirty bodysuit has high cut legs that creates a thong in the rear, and is included in eBody Curvy, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Kups A, Kups B, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite sizes. The belt is a separate piece that fits all the same bodies, and there's also a HUD in there for each - 4 textures for the bodysuit, 7 colors for the belt. The bodysuit's textures are 2 solid colors and then 2 animal prints in the same hue.

I really enjoyed my visit to Ruxy too, where I found their wonderful Magda dress waiting for us :) This lovely dress has a halter neckline and full short skirt, and the belt line is decorated with two types of gems and a bold buckle. There are sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Lara X (labeled Maitreya 1), and we also receive a HUD with 10 colors each for gem 1 and gem 2 sets, and 6 metals for the buckle. On both sides above I'm showing the gems as different color options to show you, but the best thing to do is just play with all the pretty buttons on the HUD ;)

Just in time for the peak of summer, AVAgirl is offering their terrific July bikini set as our reward for finding that hidden bag. The bikini top, panties, and sarong are all provided in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The HUD has 10 colors to choose from each for the top fabric, top beads, top metal, panty fabric, beads, metal, and the sarong. The fabrics are open weave, so they are somewhat see-through. Most of our colors are pastels, so the black can be used to really contrast against those if you wish.

My final look tonight is the [Aura Design] Minerva Set/Womenstuff Hunt//GIFT, with some particularly sexy details. The corset top and denim shorts are each included in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Nerido, Perky, Lara X, Maitreya, Smash Boobs, Reborn, and Juicy Boobs mesh body sizing. the shorts are held up by a wide denim belt that matches their distressed fabric, and the rear view is quite cheeky.

Womenstuff Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to take a glance at some more Womenstuff Hunt prizes, which are free with their group tag which is $50L to join. So that one-time fee gets you access to over 100 hunt prizes for free, as well as any group gifts offered by any of their participating stores year-round regardless of the hunt. In my opinion it is well worth the fee, which I'd paid several years ago and never regretted :) That is probably part of why I'd stayed in the group this long too, knowing I'd have access to group gifts and the hopes that future hunts would take place. I do have good news tonight too...in a prior post of this hunt, I mentioned there not being a website showing the links and/or prizes so we were reliant on the HUD available at the 'Stuff Lounge for the group members. However, the fine folks at FabFree, specifically Porta I believe, decided to create such a spreadsheet like they did for SL21B. Yay! It is easier to navigate than arrowing your way through the HUD if you're moving back and forth instead of taking the hunt in a single straight line, with the same information yet larger photos since the HUD can only go so big on your screen. I am grateful for both and there is no shade intended since the HUD is fantastic too, with the teleporting ability being so helpful :) If you recall previous Womenstuff hunts where we were looking for a red t-shirt, please remember that this time the hunt object is instead a red bag which is square with a circular gold handle.

I've already worn my first look of the evening a few times since picking it up :) It is our smesh ~ Dress for WS Hunt June 24 prize, simply loaded with sex appeal. The dress comes in sizes for Alice, Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a transparency HUD so you can make either top or skirt sheer in increments. Making the skirt a little bit see-through on the right above gives me an opportunity to show you as well as tell you about the other part of the gift, which is a BOM layer tintable thong. I've left it dark so it would show through here.

The Aitne. Iris Body - Purple hunt prize is in my favorite color, so of course I'm eager to share :) There are Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, Juicy Boobs, and Waifu mesh body sizes included, as well as a bow HUD with 6 different colors to select from. The poofy sleeves are a fun touch just like the back bow, and those high cut legs really show off our backsides nicely!

::BY EVIE:: has a great summery look for us inside their bag called SUELEN SHIRT BIKINI SET GIFT, and wait until you see how versatile it is! The one-piece string bikini and cropped t-shirt will each fit eBody Reborn, Kalhene, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and the included HUD has 17 textures for the bikini with 19 for the shirt. So much mixing and matching! There are loads of cow prints for the bikini, and many of the shirt options are solid colors but there are a few fun ones like the tie dye I chose for the left above.

Bodysuits must be having quite a fashion moment this season, as I found another stunning one in the [BEAUTY STYLE] prize called #90 BODYSUIT FATPACK. It has a strapless sweetheart neckline and high leg openings, gathered in the front and adorned with a fun message on the front. There are 20 colors that say Babe, and 5 that say Barbie, in similar curvy font and style. As for the bodysuit itself, it's provided in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizing. 

We wrap up the evening with an intricately designed bikini called {Le'La} Ulva Swimsuit. The bra and panties each come in sizing for Erika, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Flat, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. The straps are quite a sight to behold, creating a butterfly-like opening on the front of the bikini and a swoop on the right hip, all in a soft tan to coordinate just right with the leopard print fabric. 

It was another quiet but hot day here; well, it was quiet until I heard thunder twice just now. Sigh. Make that three times. Weather has not been kind lately, so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed and keeping an eye on the weather websites. Shop and Hop Hollyhock

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings us back to the SL21B Shop & Hop event, which is open until the 21st of this month and loaded with exclusive offers, discounts, and free gifts for all. This time I am focusing on treats found the Hollyhock region, one of 20 moderate regions (there are also 4 adult rated ones) with 20 designers set up in each location. Second Life is definitely celebrating their 21st birthday in style! Please don't forget about the FabFree blog's listing, a spreadsheet with links and photos of all the gifts which can be sorted by store name, region, or type in case you want just men's gifts or decor for example. Their team worked so hard on it, and I'm beyond impressed by their devotion to helping all of their readers.

It absolutely spoke to me as soon as I spotted it, and everything in their display is 40% off so now is a great time to pick up some comfy tees for yourself :) This one has 3 versions via HUD, the two above and another with a sunshine that says Sunshine in a Bag. In case you can't quite make them out, the left above has "When you can't find the sunshine, be the sunshine" on it and the other reads "You are my sunshine" with the "o" in you being a pretty yellow sun. I have had a hard time finding the sunshine lately in life, so this is a sweet reminder to look within. All of their tank tops are provided as unpacker HUDs with standard mesh sizes along with eBody Classic, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizes. I'm wearing my white Delizio jeans with it, one of several hues for free on the marketplace that are so handy for showing off goodies that are tops only.

The GoodVibes store has a few gifts for us, like this fun GoodVibes Only Womens Tshirt which is self-referential and a great motto for all. This pretty cropped tee will fit Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Star mesh bodies, and there is a cap included but not shown that has the same slogan on it and contains a resize script. My current hairdo simply does not play well with hats. There's a men's version of this gift too, and a swimsuit set for both in yet another gift package. Many thanks to them for their generosity!

Next we take a gander at the beautiful May24 - Laura Dress - SL21B Gift. This playfully styled halter dress is gathered in a few places and has long loopy bows to add some fun details. There are sizes for Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn sizes included, as well as a HUD with 21 color options. A few of those have two colors at once and 2 are tricolored like on the left above, with the rest being a wide range of solid colors. So tempting!

The generous FurtaCor gift includes 3 colors of their Xyca Dress, so I randomly chose two to show off above :) The Red is on the left, Lilac on the right, and Yellow is the one included but not shown. As you can see, they are all lovely short sleeved dresses with corset style bodice and lacy ruffles on the skirt, very romantic! Each is packed separately with Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizing. I am a fan of all three colors in this trio, and am really grateful to have the 'problem' of trying to decide which to wear next.

My final look of this evening is a combo of two Tea Lane treats that are absolutely free for all visitors. Not much to say about my day, as it was quiet but very hot. The air conditioning can't get the house to under 80 degrees during this heatwave, so my much-needed fans are mostly just blowing warm air at me. That isn't the most helpful thing, lol, but I have to convince my body to get used to it since it seems like it's going to be a very long, hot summer. Whew! Under The Sea

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're headed Under The Sea, thanks to the 5th annual round of the event by that same name. It is an Evil Bunny production, so the Evil Bunny Hunts group (free to join) is the one you need to claim several thoughtful gifts in small black bags. Just about every display has one, with a framed image of the gift next to it, so you can enjoy the beautifully decorated area and grab some treats :) There are also plenty of special offers waiting to fulfill your retail therapy needs, so bring your wallet and enjoy! My first look of the evening is the lovely EC Bannie Summer Dress GG from Emerald Couture. My final look of the night is a duo of group gifts you can find among the many offerings. It was certainly a calmer day, and I think I appreciated it even more for the quiet break. My foot is still sore but not discolored, so the toes might be okay after all. I just need to continue icing and elevating while it still feels achy. The PC has had no problems at all, so I do think that replacing the power supply was the only thing it needed :) We all know that parts of computers can fail at any time of course, but it still can catch you off guard if things seem completely fine then BOOM chaos. I'm still trying to decide what tomorrow's blog post will feature, since I have a few potential choices and will be happy with any of them.
