11 Years of Cosmo

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting round two of the Cosmopolitan event's 11th anniversary, where the celebration includes free group gifts in wooden crates at most of the designers' displays. The Cosmopolitan group is free to join, and what better way to stay informed about the twice a month, two week long event rounds? There are exclusive offers, discounts, and much more in every single round, from top designers you either already know and love, or are about to get introductions to in the best way :) If you visited the first round of April and claimed some of the group gifts, most of these are new (either different designer or same designer but new gift) so please feel free to visit again as all of the sales offers are new too.

My first look this evening is the stunning KR MAEVA DRESS -GREEN- gift from KENNY ROWLANDS. This lovely satin dress has a sheer black corset type layer for the bodice, with the satin gathered and draped to accentuate the bust. There are sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies included in this thoughtful gift.

Next I combined two gifts for one breezy summer look. The top is our eXxEsS : Top No. 6 black gift, a halter with crossed straps in the back and a fun bared midriff. It fits Cinn&Chai, Hourglass, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. I love the subtle embossed texture that looks like tiny sequins :) As for the flirty shorts, they are the Galagher - Flavia Short Fatpack gift and are quite versatile. They have included sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, and there is a HUD with 9 colors each for the main shorts, waistband, and trim on the side slits. That creates plenty of possibilities to match nearly any top you could wish to wear it with, and the shorts are so fun for this time of year!

I kept the Galagher shorts on here but changed into the Cherry Up! Diana Top. Heart Black gift for this look :) The seams on the corset give a heart shaped look to me, as the sweetheart neckline is like the top of a ♥ and the boning nearly meets in the middle at the bottom. We receive eBody Reborn, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn Juicy sizes of this beauty. 

Summer will be here before we know it, and since we can visit tropical sims year-round, this wonderful [ADD] Marie Bikini - Pattern04 will always come in handy. Its unpacker HUD lets you choose only the sizes you need to deliver from eBody Reborn, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The folder it gives you contains the top and panties along with a 7 metal HUD so you can change the look of those wide looped chains any time you wish. 

My final look of the night is the Via Fulo Christy Dress Gift, a sexy strapless mini with lots of color options. The included HUD has 12 choices each for the dress and the built in panties, which is provided in sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The HUD also has a button to turn the panties on/off, so you can hide them if you are feeling extra sexy ;) One of my favorite details is the intricate lace in the deep V of the neckline, as it goes really well with the pinstripes of the satiny dress.

Are we ready for Wednesday and the middle of the week? I feel a bit frazzled but not quite sure why. I tend to startle easily, so you should have seen me flinch and make a weird sound when I turned on a light earlier and the lightbulb blew out with a loud pop...I jumped like it stung me or something. Talk about silly :) I have more gifts from this round of Cosmo to share tomorrow evening, and a hunt or two up my sleeve for posts soon after, so my blog plans are going smoothly. Redeux Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to help the Redeux Event celebrate their 6th anniversary, by visiting during the round (until the 30th) and joining their free group. This group tag will entitle you to a few dozen generous gifts, found at most of the designers' displays. We also get to browse some discounted items and $50L offers, so lots of bargains on high quality fashion and home decor. I do have a fondness for this event, and so many of the designers are very familiar to me like a cozy hug when I see their hard work.

My first look is the TRES - Ramona wild gift, a dress with a special secret :) The animal print dress comes in sizing for Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, and when it is clicked a menu pops up to strip in 4 steps. I chose raised on the right, and you see the right hemline is lifted. You can also permit others to use this menu, so this allows for roleplay and some sexy fun with person/s of your choosing.

I always seem to find wonderful tops at these events, like the Manikin - Q-Tees - Adventure shirt I am enjoying here. This charcoal grey cropped tee says "Adventure Awaits" above a camping themed sketch, and "Go Find It" underneath. That is really good advice that I've been trying to follow more both in SL and RL :) Our gift includes Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes. I paired it with the blue Delizio jeans from their marketplace fatpack freebie, several denim shades in system/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya/Omega.

Those jeans came in handy to share this next gift as well, the Faida - Angie cute flowers top. This lovely cropped top has pale blue spaghetti straps and ruffle that coordinate beautifully with the floral pattern, really nice for spring on into the summer months. I can see wearing it with a flowing skirt too, really it will look great with whatever you prefer :) As for the sizes, we receive Cinn&Chai, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Maitreya, Maitreya Flat, Maitreya Petite, Slink Hourglass, and Tonic Mini mesh body versions to wear with a wide range of brands.

We go from sweet to sultry with the UNA. Trinity Pink gift! This daring dress is open both front and back, with a cord holding things in place like a halter top and belt. It is designed to fit the Maitreya mesh body. I was dazzled by the damask texture in such pretty hues of rosy pink. Please note those "modesty flowers" I used to cover my nipples are from Photoshop and not a part of SL whatsoever, so your copy of this gift will leave your breasts fully bare. We can layer pasties, bra, or tube top beneath if we wish, depending where we intend to wear it and what we feel comfortable with. 

My final look of the evening is the Viena Dress gift from zOOm, whose fun name always makes me want to use wordplay like being inspired to zoom on over to claim the gift ;) The dress is a strappy concoction that fits Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and comes with a HUD offering 8 color choices. I had my usual fun trying all the buttons, lol, and was captivated by the smoky feel of the choices. 

It was quiet here and warm but getting a little bit cooler soon for just a couple days before back up to the 80s. It's like summer wants to arrive early but spring keeps peeking through too. I saw deer in the backyard earlier, and since I've seen a groundhog around I expect to see babies in a month or so. There are definitely aspects of this time of year I enjoy, despite my occasional grumbling about the pollen and my allergies ;) I hope you're all having a beautiful day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

amias and Hippity Hoppity

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have a bit of variety, as I am starting with some group gifts from amias and wrapping up the post with a few hunt prizes from the Hippity Hoppity Hunt at Malus Park. The amias group is currently free to join, with gifts available for men and women. They are mostly jewelry, with a few really fun clothing items that instantly captured my attention. Then over at Malus Park, they are holding the Hippity Hoppity Hunt throughout the month of April, where we are searching for eggs containing prizes for $10L or less. There is a basket of eggs in the landing area whose eggs are examples of the size and colors of the ones that are hidden by the designers, and the hunt's website is our source of hints and preview images to guide us. 

My first look of the night is a pair of amias group gifts that look fantastic together :) The top is the COSMO group gift, a cropped hoodie with the amias logo on the upper left. It fits Legacy and Maitreya mesh bodies, just like the AUGUST group gift sweats I paired it with. These are also cropped to capri length, in the same heather gray color with matching strings that have fun arrow shaped tips. Both gifts can be worn with anything you already have in your inventory if you wish to mix things up for variety.

This clever gift is for stepping out of the shower or pool, as it is a towel that wraps around the body called amias - ANNIVERSARY gift. It contains male and female versions, with Gianni and Jake sizes that wrap around the hips for the guys. Ours shown above fits Legacy and Maitreya bodies, and there is a 10 texture HUD that works equally well on both versions. Choosing just two to show off here was tricky since I loved them all, but the "Tropical Vibes" with vibrant colors seemed a natural pick for one.

Feeling hungry? Free pizza is hard to resist, so be sure to pick up this amias - PIZZA t-shirt group gift that includes male and female versions. The female Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite sizes have a bold slice of pizza on the front, and the male (Gianni and Jake size) shirts have the main portion of the pizza pie with a slice missing where our image would fit perfectly :) Just think, that means he is kind enough to share with us!

Even though Easter was a week ago, the prizes from the Hippity Hoppity Hunt are mostly suitable for any time of year but generally Spring season themed. There are 4 eggs from [Ari-Pari] for just $5L apiece, and they each hold a different color of the beautiful Floria Dress. I'm wearing the Mint on the left and Lilac on the right. All of these dresses include sizes for eBody Reborn, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. 

My final look tonight is the other two wonderful [Ari-Pari] prizes, Floria Dress - Pink (left above) and Floria Dress - Blue (right). These are all favorite colors of mine, so I had to share them all rather than selecting one or two :) The halter style makes me happy, and the flowers on the top are accentuated by the tiny white ruffles. At just $5L each, you don't have to try to decide on just one or two either, as long as you follow the hints and find all the eggs. How was everyone's weekend? Mine was nice, with warm weather that didn't get rainy until I got home from the farmers market Saturday. That was a lovely visit, and today I mostly relaxed with no other major plans. Evil Bunny Eggs

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have another handful of Evil Bunny Hunt 13 prizes to show off, for you to possibly find to start your weekend. There are so many terrific possibilities, just have a peek at the hunt's website for landmarks, hints, and preview images of most of the generous $1L rewards for finding nice eggs (dressed up like angels) or evil eggs (dressed like devils). We have until the end of the month to enjoy this hunt, and some items are Easter themed but not all so it is not too late to have some fun with these eggs :)

My first look of the evening is one of two prizes we can claim from Emerald Couture, their EC Lunette Mini Dress White from inside the nice egg. This beautiful dress has a knotted hem and scoop back, so it shows plenty of skin for such a nice angelic gift ;) There are 5 standard sizes included, along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. 

Over at Artic Storm, we are looking for a nice egg that contains the flirty *AS* Heidal Top & Skirt Pink_Stripe outfit. The pink lace top is sheer, so that could call for pasties or a bra layered beneath to wear at certain venues. It looks terrific with the ruffled skirt whose left side is raised provocatively, and both pieces are included in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizing. There is also a beautiful white butterfly panty that is a system/BOM layer, which I was delighted to see in the folder when unpacking because I am a longtime fan of Artic Storm and know they make stunning lingerie.

Ladies and gents, I am embarrassed to admit that I did not read the description on the image of this adorable Max Magic hunt prize at first and nearly made this an adult post ;) The charming ::MM:: Watermelon Sugar patchwork women's Overalls is inside the nice egg at the store, while a men's treat can be found by locating their evil egg. The image does say "without shirt", so what we receive is the denim overalls in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies, plus a HUD with two shades of denim that are both shown above. Once I realized my nipples were winning a game of peekaboo, LOL, I improvised and headed to the marketplace where I found a versatile free gift from Gacha Girlz called Isis Top 7 colors. They are jacket system layers which work perfectly for BOM (bakes on mesh), and we receive blue, green, lavender, pink, red, white, and yellow. Now you probably have something in your inventory already that you can wear with these overalls, from tube tops to long sleeved sweaters, but I do recommend a BOM or applier type layer rather than mesh because they don't always play nicely together. I tried it with the Artic Storm top and it didn't go well, since they weren't rigged with each other in mind. That is no shade towards either clothing item at all or the designers, it is simply a suggestion based on my experience :)

If your weekend is looking steamy, head over to [JUSTICE] where you can find a nice egg that contains this breezy LANA ROMPER - TOPAZ prize. Topaz is one of those gemstones that has a wide range of colors, so the name made me think of blue or yellow, but I must admit to purple being my favorite color so this beauty made me extremely happy. There are Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes awaiting us for finding the egg.

For my final look of the night, I headed to )O( Moon Goddess and claimed their Spring Dress Green prize from a nice egg. It has a sleek slip dress feeling to it, with bare back and slits on each hip as well as the gorgeous embroidered neckline that absolutely caught my eye immediately. We receive an unpacker HUD with each size having its own button so we only need to deliver what we wish of their Freya, Isis, Venus, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. The color is such an ideal choice for this time of year, yet I can easily see it working for mid-March, late December, or whenever makes you happy.

It almost felt a bit like summer here today, with warmth and humidity that had me wearing short sleeves to my parents' for dinner. It was a nice visit, and I am always amused at their rescue birds and the way they are too shy to get within several feet of me (or my mom, but they like my dad sometimes) but want to be included in conversations and will chirp back if we look towards them when talking and say their names. They had 2 neglectful homes before my parents took them in, and those emotional wounds run deep I guess. We looked at pictures my mom found of birds we had in the 90s and 00s, oh and a few from the 70s when I was an itty bitty magpie ;) Tomorrow is the farmers market, then I am relaxing before another week sneaks up on me. Lucky at LsR With MBF

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a part two of last night, so more wonderful lucky board prizes from LsR for the Mesh Body Friends group. If you didn't see my prior post, go ahead and take a peek ;) The gifts are flirty and full of color, as they all have HUDs with an array of hues to tint our new dresses and outfits. The MBF group is free to join, so this is a great way to obtain some LsR fashions for no cost other than a little time hanging out and waiting for your initial or a "?" wild card to appear on each board.

My first look of the evening is the cozy [ LsR ] - Sexy Aisha Set prize. The shirt and leggings each fit Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a HUD provided with 30 colors for each piece. This way we can mix and match, so I did some mixing on the right and matching on the left above ;) I was really feeling that forest green, since there is no rule that spring means only pastels are allowed, and if there was I probably wouldn't follow it. Ooh, I think the pretty outfit made me feel extra sassy! It's only fashion rules that I feel that way about, that they're made to be broken, or at least are (should be?) flexible.

The [ LsR ] - Sexy Kamila Shirt Dress - Dubai Event prize is a fun choice if you want a look that is fairly casual with a daring edge. The long sleeves contrast the extra short hemline nicely, and I appreciate the rolled edging on the sleeves, hem, and wide neckline. As with nearly all of these prizes, we receive Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizing, plus a HUD with 30 colors to choose from. All of the choices for this dress have a faint pink seam down each side, which is a unique touch that I enjoy.

Next I slipped into the [ LsR ] - Sexy Frida Dress, a prize with some eye-catching details. The deep V neckline shows off a flash of cleavage, and the sleeves are cinched twice for a romantic feeling. The hem has a notch in the front as well as V slits on each hip, so it has a real peekaboo feeling. It has the usual set of sizes (Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Maitreya) and the very popular 30 color HUD, so we can pick a mood and change our minds as often as we wish.

I was definitely drawn to the intriguing prize called [ LsR ] - Sexy Salma Racing Dress for those bold checkerboard stripes down the front, and its flirty midriff opening! If your letter comes up on this board, you can win the usual set of sizes and a color HUD, and all 30 choices have the same black and white checked stripes to accentuate our curves. The back of the dress is a solid color and hugs the booty just as lovingly as the front caresses us, so flattering!

My final look of the night is the [ LsR ] - Sexy Arlene Roses Dress, which is yet another of the fantastic lucky board prizes we can win with that MBF group tag active. The show-stopping style has a bold side cutout, tied loosely at the hip, and is strapless with a short hemline so this is sure to turn heads. It fits Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and the 30 texture HUD is packed with floral prints accentuated with tiny polka dots, so our rose blossoms have an extra romantic feeling. 

It was a quiet day here, very warm and not much noteworthy happening. I'm thinking ahead for the weekend, which should be my typical Friday dinner with parents and Saturday farmers market, unless bad weather affects either. Rain and thunderstorms are expected late Friday into Saturday, so the market is more likely to be canceled which would be a huge disappointment. LsR and Mesh Body Friends

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm pleased to share some information that was new to me, so I hope it is helpful for all of you too :) You may already know that the LsR store has a paid VIP group with gifts and lucky boards, well thanks to a group chat recently I found out that on their 3rd floor (up two sets of stairs) there are several lucky boards for the Mesh Body Friends group. This multi-designer group is free to join, and has many benefits for us to enjoy :) For tonight, we take a peek at a handful of prizes I have been lucky enough to win with that MBF group tag active. I also did a little bit of hair shopping, as you will see...

First we have the lovely [ LsR ] - Sexy Mayeli Dress - Dubai Event prize, one of a few that I won with an event mentioned in the name. If this was initially released for said event, this means we have the opportunity now to not only obtain it again, but to do so for free which is quite fortunate :) There are Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh body sizes included, as well as a handy 30 color HUD so we can change the look of this delicate satiny slip dress. Even if the name didn't have the word 'sexy' in it, I would still be thinking it of this beauty.

Next I changed into the [ LsR ] - Sexy Felicity Dress - Sense event prize. This too brings the sexy adjective to life with its open sides held loosely in place with fluttery ties. It fits Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a 30 color HUD to make it a generous fatpack. The colors all have the same subtle diamond pattern that makes me think quilted or waffles. 

If you are in the mood for a bolder pattern, look no further than the prize called [ LsR ] - Sexy Eve Set. The barely buttoned and tied blouse, and the knotted mini skirt, each come in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya bodies. The HUD has 30 vivid plaid patterns for each piece, although for once I preferred not to mix things up but to match the tops to the skirts ;) It was challenging to choose only two, since there are lots of great combos on this HUD.

Something about the [ LsR ] - Sexy Susie Dress feels romantically springlike to me, maybe because the knit texture is nice for cool weather but the bare shoulders and skintight fit work for warmer times of year. This sweater dress comes in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizes (the same as all the other prizes so far) and has a 30 color HUD to let you pick from a wide range of shades. You could layer pants beneath if it's really chilly where you are headed, and wear this as a long top if you prefer. 

My final look of the evening is the [ LsR ] - Sexy Hanni Set - Tres Chic Event lucky board prize. The frilled tube top and matching asymmetrical skirt will each fit Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya bodies, and we also receive a HUD with 30 colors apiece. I went with similar color families but a light and a dark for each of the 2 images I combined, but we can certainly match them if preferred. 

Hair note of the night - Hi, my name is Dawn and I am a Truth hair addict :) At the Equal 10 event they have 2 new releases, this playful Envy style and a collaboration called Promise. I love them both, but am wearing Envy here this evening in their Essential pack of colors. There are styling options on each color HUD, and multiple sizes so we can get a good fit. We all deserve to treat ourselves when we can, and Truth hair is usually one of my favorite splurges.

It was a more restful day, and a warmer one so I am feeling like my body still needs to adjust to the weather change. I might share more Evil Bunny Hunt prizes tomorrow, or more LsR luckies if I win a couple more :) I sometimes don't decide until the moment I sit down to take the photos and notes, leaning towards being a bit spontaneous I guess. Evil Bunny Nice Eggs

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are exploring the Evil Bunny Hunt 13 some more, as there are just so many impressive prizes waiting for us. They are $1L apiece and hiding in the designers' choice of evil or nice eggs, and the website has pictures of each at the top of the page. This is also where you'll find the landmarks, hints, and preview images so you can get a sneak peek of the generous prizes. I have been enjoying these hunts each year for over a decade now, and am always pleased to see longtime favorite stores and new discoveries. 

My first look of the evening is the .Princess Stuff. [EBH13] RABBIT SUIT prize. It fits eBody, Kupra, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, and includes a 3 color HUD so we can change the look of our texture covered in bunny outlines. So cute! The style is a modest one, yet the open back reveals a tempting flash of skin.

My next stop, BlondeQueen, is offering both a nice egg and an evil egg with different versions of this terrific outfit as the prizes. I'm wearing the TEBH-BQ::Good Bunny Top & Mini Skirt:: from the white egg with angel wings and halo, and aren't those bunnies and clouds adorable? The soft lavender color is an ideal backdrop for the lovely cherry blossom pattern, isn't it? The men's gift is a tank top with stripes in colors that work well for spring but are not limited to it by any means. 

For my final look this evening, I slipped into the Crayon's Closet prize called Into The Night. I didn't get much sleep, so I am tired but otherwise doing okay.
