Got My Eye on Inkheart

Hiya everyone! Tonight it's all about the eyes, as there is a terrific Halloween hunt taking place at *Inkheart*. The eyes I wear nearly all the time are from there, and I am very proud to be a part of their blogger team :) There are 12 hidden bat hearts (traditional heart symbol with bat wings) at the store, and while you are there don't forget to give the midnight mania board a gentle slap. You can also check the lucky letter balloons floating around the store, they often have wild card "?" showing so anyone can win with just a click. The line of eyes these prizes are from is the Veruska Eyes - Goths, and each prize/set includes system and mesh eyes in 4 sizes, and a Genesis applier too. They are great for Halloween, but will work really well for year round wear too.

These first stunning eyes are Veruska Goths in Azurite, the top in Cursed (the darker 'white part') and the bottom in Zombie. I am wearing each in Medium. They are a beautiful shade of blue, makes me think of tropical waters.

These are the dramatic Veruska Eyes - Goths in Blood, with the Cursed variety on top and the Zombie beneath. I am wearing these in the Small size for comparison, since they include 4 different sizes I figured why not let you see them all? 

For a pop of green, try the Emerald version of the Veruska Goths eyes, shown here in size L for both the Cursed up top and the Zombie on the bottom. These immediately made me think of my partner Xan and his RL green eyes, and since he did the hunt as well I can easily suggest these to him when he feels the urge to change his SL eyes. 

This trio of looks includes the Karma in Cursed up top, Karma Zombie in the center, and Shadows in Cursed at the bottom. The top and center are size M while the bottom Shadows are size XL to give you a good idea of the difference. The Karma lavender reminds me of Targaryen eyes (as described in the books) while the Shadows tone is a lovely silver.

A final trio, the top is the Shadows in Zombie (the lighter white part) in size L. The middle is the Wolf shade in Cursed size L, while the bottom is Wolf in Zombie, size XL. Those handsome Wolf eyes made me think of how many cats and dogs have that yellowy golden shade as well, and I am fascinated by the depth seen in the Shadows iris.

So which color is your favorite? Do you favor the darker backdrop of the Cursed, or the lighter look of the Zombie? It was a bit odd spending so much time staring into my avi's eyes, LOL, but I actually did quite enjoy this opportunity to see so many eye options in one sitting. The four sizes can really change the appearance of the eye, and as a RL brown-eyed girl (just like the song says) I need to break out of my rut in SL of always preferring brown eyes...I can be whoever and whatever I choose in SL and there are some gorgeous options in my very own inventory :)
