Spookwood Treasures

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is your invitation to visit the SPOOKWOOD event and hunt. There are prizes for 25L or lower, and some free gifts for the Fashion Sales group (free to join) as well as a few that don't even need a group to claim. This is such a fun place to explore, and if you haven't narrowed down your Halloween costume this year (or need several for different occasions) you might just find your dream look here :) No need to spend all your lindens yet when a very expensive season is getting closer and closer! Don't worry, I plan on helping you get through that one without going broke too, but first we peek at some group gifts here.

My first look of the evening is our ESSENCE STORE* 1067 SET * gift, and it is versatile enough to work for chilly or warm weather. That's because it includes a lush furry jacket (single size) in addition to the bra, skirt, belt, and boots. Those are each provided in Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu sizes. Also tucked inside this gift, you'll find a HUD that offers 40 colors each for the bra, two sections of the skirt, belt, boots, and jacket. I think you can guess that I had a lot of fun playing with that HUD, because it's just that entertaining to watch the colors change and try to choose which ones to share.

The {EB} ANGELIC FATPACK gift by Ewa Boutique will let you decide if you want to be the angel or devil on someone's shoulder ;) Honestly I seem to be doing both at once by wearing all the accessories together. The bodysuit, top (bolero), and boots all come in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya/Petite, and Reborn bodies. Then there are black, red, and white pairs of wings, the horns you see here, and the aureole (halo) you see being held up by those horns. Like many fatpacks it also includes a HUD, and ours lets us choose from 18 colors for the bodysuit, 16 for the horns and tail (all at once), and 18 for the top. The halo stays white. This will make a great costume!

Next I dug into the {SD} WEDNESDAY - COMPLETE FATPACK from Sugar Dolls, which appears to be a former gacha so it is a special treat to be able to receive it for free. Please open all of the 13 pieces the traditional way of rezzing on the ground and right clicking to unpack, as we cannot copy an attached no-copy item into our inventory in SL. For this image I am wearing the dress which comes with separate sleeves, both in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, Maitreya Pushup Ecru, Pushup Glitzz, and Reborn bodies. Then I added the boots, which fit Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn legs/feet. I'm holding the doll on the left with its built in pose, while on the right I took off both the doll and the sleeves :) There are so many goodies in this box, I was truly delighted to check them all out.

Oohh, witchy woman...CUTE FOR YOU - 392 seems to have given me an earworm :) That's not a complaint, just par for the course with the way my mind works. The top and skirt both fit Lara X, Legacy/Bombshell, and Reborn/Waifu bodies, while the hat is adjustable for all. We've got a HUD of course, with 25 colors each for the hat, hat trim, top, skirt, and skirt trim, plus 2 options for the spiders which you'll see on hat and the top. I guess I had myself a Wicked moment on the right with pink and green, but it also gives spring or earth witch vibes :)

My final look is a treat from the same brand, our CUTE FOR YOU - 384 dress. The dress is quite sheer, which is why I added a little "modesty flower" in photoshop (that white flower is not part of the dress or anything in SL) with an optional add-on of gold hands for the breasts that blink with animated glitter. These pieces are included in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu bodies, and there's also a handy HUD with 50 amazing choices. You'll notice that there are 25 pairs of two buttons per color, and that is because each hue can be solid (well okay, sheer) or with the gold moon pattern you see on the right above. The high halter neckline is such a chic style, and the side straps caught my eye as much as those pretty moons. Please remember that I wear nipple covers that came with my skin and the translucent material may cause some peekaboo action if you aren't covering yours ;)

Well, I am here blogging because of my outing being canceled after all, which allowed me the time needed but is also a bit of a bummer. I love blogging, but I also know that getting out of the house is very important for my mental wellbeing :) There is plenty for me to share in SL, like multiple events that I haven't even touched on with a few that deserve follow-ups. We never know what we'll find when we visit somewhere new, and that is one of the best parts of our virtual world.
