Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some hunt prizes to show you from the Luck of the Irish Hunt. It is a $1L gridwide quest to find leprechaun hats, which are green top hats with a shamrock on the band. There are hints and some previews on their website, so as usual I suggest taking a peek and having it open while you hunt. The hunt prizes do have a lot of green in them, of course, but I think it is a great color for spring and not just St. Patrick's Day. The hunt only runs until the 18th of the month, so I would urge you to hurry if you are interested.
First we see the prize from Artic Storm, called *AS* Connie Irish Spring Dress. It includes the dress and a pantyliner for modesty (think of a thong but without the side strings) each in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. The pattern has such pretty roses and butterflies, and the sheer panels are delightfully flirty. As a side note, we will be visiting their home sim, The Wash sim, again in a couple of weeks as their biannual cart sale begins, and Artic Storm usually does participate so I am eager to see what they have to offer.
This striking dress is from the Harambee Gwassi-Kenya Charity Shop (be sure to check out their displays on what they do!) called Shamrock MiniDress Fitmesh. It consists of 3 standard fitmesh sizes (S,M,L) along with Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous versions. The shamrock design makes for such a nice interpretation of the theme.
Changed Seasons has their flirty VIONA dress waiting for all of us who find their hidden hat. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies, trimmed with lace and covered with a floral texture. The deep forest type shade of green means this will look great year-round.
This sweet mini is from Lady Dragons Designs, called LOTI Dress from LDD. That stands for Luck Of The Irish, and will have you feeling quite fortunate to find this treat for a mere linden. It comes in a fitted mesh version, plus Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes, all with the same flared skirt and golden polka dots. Maybe they represent coins from the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow :)
My final look of the evening is the prize from .:cheeky:. called Sookie one shoulder Dress. It is generously scattered with shamrocks on the skirt, and the shoulder baring style will be very flattering for earrings or a short necklace. It comes in Freya, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes.
It is honestly so nice to be able to sit here and relax for a bit, between hectic days leading to a fun-filled weekend :) I just got home a few hours ago from dinner with the parents, my usual Friday visit, and tomorrow I will be seeing a first cousin once removed (yeah I had to look that up LOL, he is my mom's first cousin) for possibly only the second time ever. No bad blood, just two branches of a large family tree that didn't really spend time together much. I think he is older than my mom but I'm not certain, her dad was the youngest of 9 and the cousin's mom was one of the older siblings. There is also a HUD included that lets you choose from 10 textures: 5 solid colors and 5 patterns. The front has a lot of clever openings, while the rear view dips down far enough to reveal a little bum cleavage. This translucent treat is the SLFO group gift from zOOm called Boo Dress, included in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. Not only is the material delicately sheer, but the cut is quite revealing in the back especially, so I had to add a few of what I call modesty flowers in Photoshop. They are not in SL or part of the dress in any way, just added to the image itself. You can tell how see-through if you look at my belly button ;) I love the lace trim and the glitter on the fabric.
For my final look this evening, we take a closer look at my gorgeous nails which you can find exclusively at The Trunk Show. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a part two for you, from the Spring Fling Hunt which is a $1L gridwide in which you are searching for bright pink rosebuds. As I mentioned yesterday, there are hints and some preview pictures available on the hunt's website, so I recommend as usual to have it open while you're working on hunting :)
The hunt prize at Freda is their Sassy Dress with Flower Boots, in a shade that reminds me of the color of the year (living coral). Both the dress and boots are included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, and as you can see in the inset the dress reads "Classy Sassy and a bit Smart-Assy" :) I will neither confirm nor deny that I identify with that saying...LOL!
This next prize was a bit more sassy than I realized from its preview photo ;) It's the gift from Carrie's Lingerie, called CB Spring Fling, and it includes the bra and panties/stockings in system layers plus Omega appliers. The bra is actually a shelf bra that I've also seen called a balconette or a demi bra (there are way too many styles of bras to remember them all) and I added the black modesty flowers to the photos after taking them. Those are not part of the clothing or in SL whatsoever. I love the soft pink bows on the front of the bra and thong, back of the thong, and even on top of each stocking above the rear seams. I would also like to mention that this rosebud is recolored darker...still darker...even more...there you go ;) As dark as dark can be!
The pattern on the Grumble-Spring Dreams Sweater made me smile, particularly that kitty beneath the neckline gazing up at me so sweetly. The prize includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique.
Sometimes what I really need is a pretty casual look, and I have found that here from ViVi with their Bethany - Buttoned Back Blouse - Floral Green & Yellow. Both colors are included as system layers and appliers for Lolas, Luck, Omega, Wowmeh, KL Lena, and Slink. The buttons mentioned in their name are looking lovely beneath a deeply scooped back, and I couldn't resist the touch of lace on the sleeves. As with the previous gift, I paired these tops with my favorite Marketplace gift from Delizio, several colors of jeans in system layers, Maitreya appliers, and Omega appliers.
My final look tonight is an unexpectedly flirty look from ~PP~ called Spring Rosed Lace - Pink Silk - Micro Mini Dress. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes, with cage-like straps on the top and (the surprise part) a transparent skirt with floral pattern. Depending on where you choose to wear this, you might need to layer some panties underneath it. Not a judgment, just a helpful suggestion since I've been busted for forgetting to wear undies with a skirt that someone cammed under...I'm overly cautious ever since. In my case, I didn't get kicked out of where I was shopping, just sexually harassed via private messages *cringe*.

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am delighted to show you the newest Fish 4 This fishing set at Sn@tch, which is called That Magical Night. There are 6 colors of a beautiful top in system layers and an Omega applier, which you can pair however you choose with the 6 versions of the mesh skirt (sizes: standard, eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine). There are 3 colors of a long wavy hairstyle, each in two sizes, and they all look great with these outfits. As for accessories, we have knit tights in system layers and an Omega applier, a fun pair of boots, a pair of earrings, and a forehead jewelry piece with a HUD that lets you choose from 10 gem colors on either gold or silver. Please note, to fish for these pieces you will need a 7 Seas fishing rod (purchase one there at the store or even on the Marketplace if you don't already have one) and you can trade the pieces with friends to complete the collection even faster. I had Xan's help as always, even through some technical difficulties, because he is just awesome that way ♥.
Let's start from the top, in this case the lovely hair from the fishing set :) This is Sn@tch Sashi Hair in Black, one of the three colors you can fish for there. I am also wearing the Sn@tch Yeri Crochet Sweater in Black, with an open weave and a bra built in. The long sleeves extend down to the hands (glove layer) and the sweater is slightly cropped for a glimpse of midriff. My skirt is the Sn@tch Sunshine Skater Skirt in Aqua, with a beautiful and intricate pattern.
For this look, I paired the Yeri Crochet Sweater in Blue with the Sunshine Skater Skirt in Blue, which seemed like a natural choice. I also added the Sn@tch Sashi Jewels, the forehead jewelry with plenty of detail and bohemian appeal. You'll also want to catch the texture HUD for it, so you can choose from 20 different gem color/metal color combinations.
This is the Ash Blonde version of the Sashi Hair, and I must say that all the colors really showcase the forehead jewelry thanks to the crisp middle part and beachy waves. I slipped into the Yeri Crochet Sweater in Rust, and really enjoy how it looks with the Sunshine Skater Skirt in Peach. I am also wearing the Sn@tch Festival Earrings in Silver, although they do blend in a bit with the pale blonde of the hair at this angle.
I decided it was about time to show you more of the accessories from this set :) So I added the Sn@tch Ribbed Tights in Black, and the Sn@tch Bella Suede Boots. I simply hid my Slink feet to wear these with ease. On the left we see the Yeri Crochet Sweater in Wine with the Purple version on the right, and the skirts are the Sunshine Skater Skirt in Pink on the left, Purple on the right. Both color themes are so flattering for this skirt's pattern, which reminds me of a mandala.
My final look of the evening is the Yeri Crochet Sweater in Teal, and this is the Multi version of our Sunshine Skater Skirt so there are plenty of colors you could match with this one. The jewelry looks beautiful in blue, and you can see one of the earrings better in this image but I suspect they would be even more visible with a different style. I am partial to updos, but I think a double ponytail look would be fun or even a long straight middle part tucked behind each ear.
It is a snowy evening here, actually with sleet and freezing rain joining the mixture and creating a frozen glaze on top of the several inches of snow. The plows have been through twice, and I expect at least one more time before sunrise. I hope they use the pet-safe salt, because I know I see a lot of dogs walked on the street, but I feel like in bulk it is less likely to be the fancy stuff. I don't have a dog, but if I did I would be using boots or that paw protecting balm just in case. It was a busy weekend that now feels like I am in a skiing cabin, hehe, but I don't have any plans for a few days that would bring me outdoors so I am content to wait for things to clear up. I am sitting here listening to freezing rain pelting off my window, not really how I would usually expect to spend a march evening...we have a few inches of snow on the ground from this morning, and some "wintry mix" type precipitation in the forecast for about 24 hours or so. I am still going out though, that busy weekend of mine, and will not have time to blog tomorrow evening. Tonight I was very excited to find a store that is new to me called *BSASSY*, whose group is free to join and they have a bounty of group gifts in the room to the right from the main entrance/landing area. There are some gifts set for sale for $0L too, available to all even without a group tag, so even if you don't have any group slots open to join their free group, it is well worth visiting. I found so many generous gifts there that tonight's post will be a part one of at least two ;) It looks to be a few years' worth of monthly group gifts along with some bonuses, so that is a lot to appreciate.
First we have a pair of gifts which are overalls and a tiny tube top that you can wear beneath. The *BSASSY* Jan 2019 Group Gift Skirt Overall comes in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous versions, and can be worn with just about any shirt layered under that you wish (or alone if you are feeling naughty). The top I am wearing underneath was also given out to the group the same month it seems, *BSASSY* Jan 2019 Gift Tube Top. I love the way one strap of the overalls is unhooked and draped down the back, and I have some applier type shirts that will look great with this.

The collar connected to the bodice by a simple strap adds a unique touch and means that no necklace would be needed. I would probably just add a bracelet or earrings if I was in the mood to wear jewelry, then pick a pair of shoes (maybe strappy sandals) to complete the look.
My final look of the night is called *BSASSY* Thank You and December Gift, and it is a lovely versatile dress. It is the point in the week where things start to get very busy for me, so I had an appointment this afternoon and will have dinner with my parents tomorrow (Friday), then a few things planned for Saturday that will keep me quite occupied too. Most of the things I have coming up are positive, so it is not a complaint by any means :) With a new month, there are all sorts of exciting things starting like events' rounds and hunts, so I will be a busy little bee magpie in SL too.
