Malus Park Summer Camp

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to invite you to the Summer Camp Hunt at Malus Park, which is open for the entire month of July. There are rolled up sleeping bags in various colors that serve as our hidden hunt objects, in the southwest corner of the Malus Region. This includes their Zen garden, memorial garden, The Refuge, and oceanside dock so you know where you're exploring :) All of the prizes are $10L or less, and I must say they are all worth far more than that! We are able to find some terrific bargains, just by searching for the sleeping bags. The website can help you with hints for some of the prizes and preview images, and you'll notice that several designers are offering multiple prizes/bags so be sure to follow those hunt keys :) We have two relatively new nail artists among the designers too, so my fingertips are feeling extra fancy!

My first look combines two of the prizes from Designs by Danielle, of which there are a total of 5 which are $10L apiece. The DANI Camp Memories Tank says, "Here's to the nights we can't remember with friends we'll never forget" and I almost want to toast to that with a beer ;) It brought back fuzzy but fond memories for sure. There are sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, and Petite X mesh bodies. It pairs really well with the DANI Camo Camp Shorts, which are found in a different sleeping bag and have just the right pattern for camping in the wilderness. These fun shorts will fit Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. I'm a bit of an odd duck in that I have a sentimental response to camo print, thanks to military family members like my dad.

Guess what else those shorts go well with? I mean yes, everything LOL, but specifically here I am referring to all 5 prizes from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. which are $10L each and all exclusive to this hunt. I'm wearing their CACTUS ROAD Tee on the left, and SUNSHINE & GOOD TIMES Tee to the right. They are each provided as an unpacker HUD so you can select just the sizes you need, so handy! I just realized what CACTUS ROAD reminds me of - the opening lines of Hotel California! On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair...you're welcome for the earworm ;) I can definitely get behind the idea of sunshine and good times, both RL and SL.

I'm definitely getting a lot of use out of the DANI camo shorts, as they appear here again with our Around The Campfire Women's Shirt from Psyche's Pstyles. They have a men's version too in another sleeping bag, each $10L, and this cozy layered cutie comes in a fitmesh M size along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Reborn, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. The front reads "Life is better around the campfire" and makes me picture that woody smoky smell and roasting some marshmallows for smores. 

If my mention earlier of the words "new" and "nails" got your attention, here are two amazing manicures from Petalo! Their Mesh Nails. Siren Song. Short Almond are the pink and teal beauties on the left side of the image above, and the Mesh Nails. Sunshine Petal Pop. Short Almond are seen on the right. Would you believe these are only $5L each? Both sets have wonderful color combos, and add a lovely glimmer to your fingertips.

My final look this evening has me swooning too, thanks to backSTORY and their versatile Summer Camp Nails prize. The mesh nails are designed for Alice 5.0, Belleza OG, Gen X, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn hands, and include a HUD that offers 10 solid colors for the thumb and ring finger, plus 10 designs for the pointer, middle, and pinky nails. This means we get to adjust our accent colors to suit the pattern we select :) The tiny plaid print could be a nod to flannel which is great for camping in, or a gingham picnic blanket or tablecloth for the wooden tables you'll find at many campsites. More good news, there is another set in a different sleeping bag for the same $10L cost and equally beautiful designs and coordinated accent nail colors. Why are you not there yet hunting? LOL! Wow, what a weekend! My computer turned itself off in the wee hours of Saturday morning while I was in SL and on discord chatting with Xan, and we brushed it off as a one-time thing that could have been a small brownout that only affect my pc but not my lights. Sounds nice, but he signed off and I was still here doing blog related prep when it happened two more times in a 15-minute span. Uh oh, right? It would turn itself back on after a couple minutes, very odd behavior indeed. 2 hours later a fourth occurrence convinced me that the problem was the PC itself since the tv, fan, and lights all stayed on. Diagnosis - power supply needed replacing, blah. That was taken care of late last night, and things are going well so far, knock on wood, so I am very relieved. This kind of thing is why I feel like my middle name should be chaos, and it's a good thing I usually don't blog on Saturdays anyway. Oh yeah, and tonight the housemate (who weighs about 400 lbs., no exaggeration) stepped on my foot and one of my toes made a loud gross cracking sound. This was in the kitchen so hard tile flooring. It is sore and slightly bruised, but they don't really do much for broken toes anyway, so I am taking care of it at home by icing it and elevating it, keeping two toes taped together too. If things start looking or feeling worse, I'll have to do something about it, even if the agoraphobia fights against it. Sigh. More Womenstuff Wonders

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features more Womenstuff Hunt prizes, all of which are free if you are a member of the Womenstuff Group which does have a $50L fee to join. As there are over 100 prizes, it works out to be less than half a linden dollar per goodie, so it feels like a very worthwhile value to me. I'd already been a member of the group for ages, as at least one of their prior hunt rounds (possibly pre-blogging for me, so before 2015) required the group tag also. Now if you go to the 'Stuff Lounge you can click the sign with the group tag active and get a very helpful HUD, which acts as a teleporter and your hint giver, along with showing a photo of each prize as you arrow your way through the many pages. The question mark is what to click for the hint, the pushpin delivers a landmark for the store in case you prefer not to allow it to teleport you or just wish to save the location, and the other images on that right side are the teleport ring and I believe a group joiner. We're looking for red bags this time, square shaped with a circular handle in gold, and some of them have been enlarged while others are shrunken to tiny sizes to hide in tricky little corners ;) Trust the hints, bring a friend and use teamwork if you like, and enjoy dozens of prizes!

My first look of the evening is the YoUnique Couture Shuandra Stripes Dress Fatpack. The playful mini dress is provided in Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing, with a generous HUD offering 20 fantastic color choices. I find the straps intriguing, the way they lace through the straps in the front and come up to cross before winding around as a halter neckline. That side slit on the right thigh is a real head-turner, too! We also receive a BOM layer black lace panty pasties, so we can cover up the essentials easily while wearing this.

The next prize I'm sharing has the appearance of a one-piece dress but is made of three components. Our Casadel"Sammy"GIFT consists of the top, skirt, and pad (panty liner for modesty) each in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Senra mesh bodies. This way we can wear them with other things too if we prefer, like if you really want to wear the shorts with a white bikini top or leave the belt off, or maybe a pair of sandals instead of the sneakers. It's all up to you, wear things the way that makes you happy :) It probably won't surprise you that I almost didn't want to take this off...LOL! It really is a 'me' kind of outfit, great for exploring and gridwide hunting or searching for new gifts to share.

Maybe I need to get in touch with my inner sex goddess, who definitely perked up when I tried on the [If design] Soen prize! It includes the bodysuit and nipple pasties each in Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. There is also a HUD of course, with 20 colors apiece for the bodysuit and nipples plus tinting and 12 metals for the studs and buckles. That is an impressive amount of versatility, and this could liven up your roleplay or your love life.

For my final look of the night, I slipped into the gorgeous [ZEX] Isabel dress * Dove seen here. This prize includes sizes for eBody Reborn, Waifu, Lara X, and Legacy mesh bodies. The strapless mini dress is barely held in place by the cuffed neckline, and aren't the armbands lovely with their softly fluttering bows? The dove part may be referring to the soft white color, but it got me humming When Doves Cry by Prince since it was in my head yesterday too.

I had a nice time at my parents', and I talked to my mom just a little bit about how she's really doing. She said she is in the denial stage of grief, which is sadly not surprising, and they went to my grandma's house again today to make sure things are being taken care of properly. It has been emptied and some rugs removed, floors refinished, and some walls needed painting, so it is coming along well and should be ready to sell soon. There are already people interested in it, a few even approaching the workers, so I am glad my parents can get that aspect wrapped up quickly for a bit more closure. As for dinner, we had turkey dogs and turkey burgers, a rotisserie chicken, and homemade potato salad along with some green beans from one of the farmers markets. I brought most of mine home since I wasn't super hungry, but everything looked great and what I had was tasty :) My dad was watching baseball on his iPad so not exactly great conversation, lol, but at least he enjoyed the game. Welcome Back Womenstuff

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got good news about a longtime hunt returning to the grid. The Womenstuff Hunt, last seen in summer 2022 (and even that was a revival after the groups changed hands) is back with over 100 participating stores offering free prizes. The one catch that keeps it from being utterly free is the $50L fee to join the Womenstuff group, which is necessary to claim the prizes. Please visit the 'Stuff lounge and join the group if you aren't already in it, then you can click the sign to obtain a HUD that can teleport you to the stops and provide hints. The HUD is essential since that seems to be the only listing of participating designers, and it is handy to use it to teleport around. The hunt object used to be a red t-shirt, well now it is a lovely red bag in a squared shape with a circular handle. Some have been shrunken down to a really tiny size, so those hints are going to be very helpful! The HUD has arrows to turn the pages to each store, then a ? for the hint and a pushpin for the landmark. The teleport symbol looks like a circle with lines radiating upward, okay it's hard to describe actually LOL but it is on the lower right of each prize image. With 106 prizes, that makes the total cost less than a half a linden dollar per gift :) I'd already been in the group for ages, and highly recommend staying in if you can spare the group slot because I'm hopeful that this hunt goes well and encourages them to do it again soon. Many of the gifts include Lara X sizes, so many in fact that I'm wearing that body this evening.

My first look of the evening is the revealing "Inna" Blazer Vest-Orange from Asteria. Their prize will fit Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, Senra, and a Classic and Curvy pairing that could be Gen X or possibly Tonic. We also receive a HUD with 15 textures for the inner (collar), 12 colors for the panties plus an on/off option, and 4 metals. The open sides are held in place with playful straps for an added fun detail :)

!APHORISM! has a terrific prize for us too, their Steph Shirt & Skirt Gold Ltd Ed outfit. The top and skirt each come in sizes for Gen X Classic, Classic Dainty, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh bodies, along with a HUD for each. The shirt's HUD has 24 choices for collar and cuffs, 12 for the buttons, and a pattern or plain option for the gold color of the main fabric. The skirt HUD has the same pattern/plain choices available, so we really can personalize this look nicely.

Time to get sexy with the :: pm :: Adriana Lingerie Set -2 colors- prize from purplemoon! There are beige and choco versions each of bra and panties, all in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. You could mix and match if you wish, but for once I felt like keeping things streamlined ;) The bra has lovely flowers across the top, and the lacy texture on both is just beautiful.

I also found the bag at Vulnus and eagerly claimed their Abas bikini prize. The top and thong are each provided in Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. They are both tied in place with slender straps and fun bows, and I really like the dreamcatcher pattern on the fabric. I know, there's barely enough material there to even see the print that well in this picture, lol, but trust me that is what it is ;)

My final look of the night is the charming JUMO Originals - JOURDAN Gown Summer prize, just right for an evening out, perhaps this coming weekend :) There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Maitreya, and Signature mesh bodies, plus a HUD with 6 colors and a bonus of 2 chokers in different widths. The details make the difference here too, like the deep plunging neckline and central slit on the skirt, lace embroidery at the hem, and a shimmery built in belt. The BIG choker is the one I'm wearing on the right, and I chuckled when it reminded me of the big salad of Seinfeld fame. If you have a different necklace you'd prefer to wear with this beauty, I'm sure it will look just as nice too since that neckline can frame a wide range of styles.

I'd say that it was a quiet day, but only in the sense of my not going out...it was rather noisy from all the fireworks tonight 🎆. The weather was decent enough for it, so I'm sure the folks in the neighborhood who were outside watching were able to enjoy them. I don't hate fireworks, just the loud noises catching me off guard can be off-putting and the worry for pets and humans who might not handle the sounds well. I also witnessed a misfortune in my childhood of a neighbor's girlfriend getting injured by their fireworks, let's just say she no longer has all 10 fingers. That makes me think they should be left to the pros, or at least people who are 100% sober adults. I am looking forward to my parents' tomorrow for dinner, our version of a BBQ, and just checking in to make sure they are both doing okay. There are still tiny firsts happening to them regularly, like this will be the first BBQ without planning on setting food aside for my grandma. She usually cooked extra and now has to scale down a bit, or I may wind up with lots of leftovers. Gleaming at Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting the Gleaming region at SL21B Shop & Hop, one of 20 moderate regions (there are also 4 adult ones) to visit for lots of exclusive offers, discounted sales, and gifts galore. I've shared a few already, and since we have until the 21st I'm sure I will have at least one more post before it wraps up :) Free gifts, no group needed, what else could we ask for? I am grateful to all 480 designers taking part, as well as the FabFree team for organizing a spreadsheet of all the stores, gifts, photos, and locations. I refer to it when I want to make sure I didn't miss any gifts, and to verify that I've got them sorted accurately by region. 

My first look is the gorgeous Belle Epoque - Aiora - Pride dress, a corset style mini with a rainbow of hearts scattered about. I went to my podiatrist appointment this afternoon, and it went fairly well. That's not to say the anxiety wasn't an issue, but I somehow got through it anyway and convinced myself to persevere. The visit itself went smoothly since nothing was ingrown, just long, so no painful digging or anything. I've been chatting with my mom to narrow down plans for Friday's dinner, what we do instead of a BBQ for this type of holiday...turkey burgers, hot dogs, rotisserie chicken, and she will make potato salad which I always enjoy. None of these are going onto an outdoor grill, so it's really just a nod to years past when we actually did that :) I've voted for cheddar cheese for the burgers this year. More Off-Line Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are back at "Off-Line" and their generous wall of group gifts, all of which are for their free group (the paid one gets even more benefits!). They recently put out the May, June, and July gifts, and I already shared May's recently so we're moving on to June :) Their gifts are all fatpacks so there are plenty of colors, just right for any mood or personal tastes. I expect this set will be available at least until the end of the month, but that is simply a guess so I suggest getting there quickly if you're interested just in case.

For my first look of the night, I'm enjoying the "Off-Line" x "Mariah" Set / Fatpack group gift. The dress and bikini beneath are each provided in unpacking HUDs for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. I can make out the Metallica logo on the top of the graphic on the left, and I think that says Damage Inc. in lettering that's been cut out like a ransom note. The tie dye can be seen on the right without graphics, a single color in various shades from being knotted and dip dyed. The top itself fits Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies.

It was quite a day...I kept being woken up by a tickling sensation that turned out to be a large ant crawling on me (my arms mainly) so that was annoying, as I just wanted to get some decent rest. Tomorrow I'll be going to the podiatrist finally, and I am terrified of the journey but will be grateful when it's all done to have my toenails properly taken care of and healthy again. As of right now I do plan on posting tomorrow evening, if at the last minute I don't feel up to it I'm sure I will be back here the following day :) Meanwhile I hope you're all having a terrific day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

SL21B Gift Area Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to invite you to the SL21B Gift Area, part of the festivities for the 21st birthday of SL but not within the Shop & Hop regions. These are treats from designers who either don't have a display at Shop & Hop or simply wanted to offer a little something extra, and as always I am very grateful to all of the fine folks who wanted to share their hard work with their fellow SL residents. The celebration lasts until the 21st of the month, fitting for a 21st birthday of course :)

My first look is the ICE CREAM BREAK DRESS BY JI PACK by Just Imagine, and my first reaction was how wonderful it is for summer! We can take a break with some refreshing ice cream without any calories, thanks to the images of various flavors in bold colors scooped into waffle cones on a vibrant yellow backdrop. The dress comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Signature Alice, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies.

Another special gift I found here is the LACONIC // WHISPER DRESS, and what it whispers to me is sex appeal :) There are Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes included, plus a HUD with 6 color choices so we can change up the look if we wish. The diagonal hem is decorated with a fun ruffle, and the plunging neckline is just right to show off your favorite necklaces.

The ART & FASHION store has been very generous this round as usual, with gifts at their Shop & Hop display as well as several here at the gift area. I found 6 total in four giftboxes here, including this charming SIREN MINI DRESS. Isn't the mermaid looking lady with long flowing hair beautiful? We receive sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. 

Two of the gifts were similar enough that I am showing them together for a fun side by side comparison :) The ART & FASHION - FABULOUS FIFTIES DRESS looks great in blue and white on the left, with their 50S BLACK & WHITE DRESS just as chic in monotone to the right. They both come in Altamura, eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizes, with full skirts and cinched at the waist with two rows of buttons. The large polka dots add to the retro styling, and either would be delightful for a themed party or night at a club.

For my final look of the evening, I slipped into the ART & FASHION - ANATHEMA LONG DRESS which is yet another of their fantastic gifts. This full length gown is provided in 5 fitmesh standard sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus (each in Natural, Perky, and Push Up), Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. The soft buttery yellow hue serves as a lovely background for the artistic image on the front.

Whew, it is another day where I have utterly lost track of time and the day of the week...it was different when I worked an office job and the days of the week mattered very deeply, but lately time seems to be going fast and slow at the same time. It was a quiet day which is always nice, and I'm not sure what tomorrow will hold yet.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we've got treats from "Off-Line" to see, as they have very recently updated their group gift wall for May, June, and July with 6 for each month. I am showing May's as I believe that all 3 months will stay as is for a while. I'd been checking almost daily for this so I'm really excited :) These are for their free group, so they won't cost us a thing. I am always grateful for their generosity, and love showing off the myriad of styles and colors they consistently offer.

My first look is the "Off-Line" x "Cassie" Dress / Fatpack gift, for May as all of tonight's are. This charming single strapped mini dress has unpacker HUDs for each size separately - Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. These each hold black, grey, lime (seen on the right above), nude, orange, pink (left), slate, and white versions of the pertinent size. It is more inventory-friendly to just open the size you need and hang onto the rest for future reference :)

Our "Off-Line" x "Amelia" Mesh Bikini / Fatpack gift looks like multiple pieces but is worn as one, in sizing for BBL, Freya, Hourglass, Inithium, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. Each comes in black, blue (right above), nude, orange, pink, purple (left), and white versions. The mesh is somewhat see-through, and I don't see a bikini bottom beneath the sarong, so I am going to suggest that for modesty you may want to slip a BOM bottom on if you need a little privacy down below.

There's also a HUD for this one, with split buttons so the top half of the circle is for the shirt, and the lower half for the skirt. We have 20 color choices in classic (no text), 20 with Chanel in white, and 20 with Chanel in black. The little flower on the top makes me smile, and I think those who are fans of the brand or simply the name Chanel will enjoy those options :) 

My final look this evening is relatively revealing, the group gift called "Off-Line" x "Leo" Bodysuit / Fatpack. There are Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes among our unpacking HUDs, each of which holds plenty of colors to choose from. I'm wearing passion on the left, lemon on the right, and the others are baby blue, black, brown, buttercream, cantaloupe, cobalt, grape, grey, hot pink, lavender, lime, marzipan, nude, peach, periwinkle, pigeon, pistachio, rose, salmon, spring, taffy, tangerine, thistle, turquoise, and white. The sheer nature of the front shows off a lot, then again the strappy back is barely covering anything ;) I'm categorizing this as lingerie rather than swimwear, but you can certainly enjoy it anywhere the rules of the property permit :) 

It was a hot and stormy weekend, with 2 power outages last night and a few lights flickering today during my therapy session. Fun, eh? Overall it was a decent weekend though, and tomorrow I'll be scheduling an appointment with my podiatrist to get my toenails back under control. I've got to get back to doing all these things that I've been putting off that are affecting my health.
