Weekend Peace On Earth
Hiya everyone! Tonight we continue to explore the Peace On Earth Hunt 12, where finding hidden globes earns you free prizes. The hunt is open throughout the month of December, and there are about 70 stores (they are numbered up to 70 but there are at least two skipped) so you have plenty of time to enjoy this hunt. There are fashion prizes for men and women, and a healthy dose of home decor to give your living space a new look. Some are seasonal, other are timeless, and all are a special something to be grateful for.
My first look of the evening can be found inside the globe at Grumble. Their pretty Holly Formal Gown comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, all in a strapless mermaid style with attached red belt. The pattern is reminiscent of the season, so be sure to find it before any holiday parties where you might want to wear it.
While I am not of Scottish heritage (that I know of), I can still admire this charming gift from Scottish by Design :) It is their SbD_Pink Kilt Outfit - female, and is delightfully detailed. The layered off-shoulder top and pleated kilt are each provided in sizes for Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous. Even the sporran bag is included with a HUD that lets you choose from 3 colors (brown, black, white) with or without the thistle embroidered on its flap.
This next look comes from Modern Nostalgia and is called {MN} Nykee Dress. I do appreciate the versatility of a color HUD as you know, and this one is very impressive with its 18 great options. You will find sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique inside the folder with that HUD, to fit many popular bodies. The style of the dress is perfect for cool weather with its high neck and long sleeves, and it has a slender black belt that dips down slightly in the front for visual interest. I might add boots and/or tights the next time I wear it to really accentuate the winter aspect.
Our gift from [Ari-Pari] is their playful Snowflake Ruffled Dress. Its name describes it quite well, from the style to the texture that is dusted with pretty flakes. Both the dress and a white v-string (to cover the crotch and provide modesty) are provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, with a HUD that offers 6 color choices for the background of the dress texture. Side note - if you join their free group, they have an Advent calendar that I've been visiting regularly, just wear your group tag and click the correct day's gift box.
For my final look of the night, I chose the female gift from Ink Blots, specified because there is a male gift inside that very same globe. This cowl neck sweater comes in fitmesh standard sizes as well as versions for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The navy blue looks very classy with gold and white stripes, and the knit texture gives me a warm feeling.
It was a stressful day, so I am trying to put those feelings behind me and move onto the weekend with a positive attitude. Please be kind to someone today (and every day) because you never know what they are going through and if your friendly smile or kind word is the best part of their day. I have my usual Saturday morning plans, then a hockey game to watch in the afternoon, so nothing too unusual here.
