Tonight I am sharing some prizes from The Advent Chase Hunt, a free gridwide (and marketplace) hunt where you will be looking for candles in either pink, blue, or pale yellow depending on if the gift is male, female, or unisex. My first look tonight really made me smile because I immediately recognized one of Hello Kitty's friends, who is named Chococat. He's snuggled on my sweater, which is from the candle at Tiffany Designs and called TD Moni Mesh Sweater in Green. Inside you will find the sweater in plenty of fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, Slink, and TMP Large and TMP Small. Also included, the cute black pants in a system layer plus appliers for TMP, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and Belleza. The tree behind me is part of my furnished rental skybox's options for the holidays, how cool is it to be able to use a HUD to change your furniture? :)
Perhaps you'd like something dressier, be sure to head to Bella Moda where there are 2 hidden candles for the ladies (and don't forget to visit their neighboring store Zed for 2 male and 2 female prizes) and you will be as delighted as I was to find this gorgeous gown and matching shoes inside one of the candles. This is Abito Fluente Teal Flowing Gown & Shoes, and the gown is included in standard mesh sizes plus Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, and one called Classic which may be a fitmesh for the classic avatar. The shoes have a Slink size and a resize version pair, so you can adjust them to whatever mesh feet you prefer.
If you are more in the mood for a deep pink, Bella Moda's other candle has you covered :) This is their Prestigio Fuschia Gown & Shoes, and both the shoes and gown have plenty of sizes to please every body. The gown has standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, and TMP versions included, and the shoes come in Slink, Belleza, Maitreya, and resize versions. All that and a lovely glittery texture, color me happy!
This particular gift was found on the marketplace since the store, Xtasya, doesn't currently have an in-world location but that shouldn't mean they cannot participate in hunts. This is their Steampunk Dress in Xmas, and the flattering style is included in 9 fitmesh sizes: standard, Physique, Hourglass, Maitreya, and Belleza. All you need to do is look at their marketplace page, and you will see it for $0L and with a pink candle on the vendor image.
One last festive look for the evening, this is our stunning gift from Sweet E's when you find that pretty pink candle. This is called Red Candy Cane Kate Gown and comes in a fitmesh size along with Maitreya, Slink, and Slink Hourglass sizes. It is such a flattering shape, and candy canes have never look so sophisticated as they do scattered across this beautiful bodice.
A few side notes: my skin is the same 7 Deadly s{K}ins Fabienne in Apricot that I wore yesterday, the advent gift from the 6th which I believe can be purchased after the date has passed. Hiya everyone! Today is another fun post of Advent Calendar prizes from across the grid, either no group needed to claim or a tag from a group that is free to join. This is such an exciting time of year in SL, and I am thrilled to be able to show you some of the many goodies involved.
This gift from Eclectic Stars made me laugh, and earwormed me so I'm still humming the song to myself right now while writing this ;) Another fun fact is that in order to claim this Snuggly - Gingy sweater in standard mesh sizes, you will need to click the right day on the Advent calendar with a picture of Deadpool laying seductively in front of a fireplace. That makes me giggle too, it's a win-win!
I love the bright green of this Make Me dress by Entice, their Advent gift which does need a free group tag then just pay today's bauble $1L and it will be immediately refunded. You will receive this intriguing Emerald dress in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya only, probably because a classic avatar with an alpha layer would be extremely tricky with those round openings. Today I am wearing my Slink Physique body and it fit wonderfully.
Sweet Revolutions is another free group to join, and they have several participating designers in their Advent calendar which will have you searching their lovely land for gift wrapped presents with a date written on them. Today, there are 3 for the 6th because of St. Nick's Day, celebrated in their homelands, and this is the dress from Independent Objects. Their *IO* Forgotten Stars Dress is a striking look, with a bared shoulder/arm on one side and bared leg on the other. I also love the scattering of stars upon the fabric. he gown is provided in standard mesh sizes with corresponding alpha layer.
I took this opportunity to show you a few of the advent prizes I have been wearing for all of these photos, let's start with the pretty skin from 7 Deadly s{K}ins. This is their Feeb's Fabienne skin in Apricot, and those adorable dimples are one of my favorite features. I'm also loving the subtle nude lips in a perfect shape, and the soft brown eyebrows that do not overwhelm the face. This skin comes in system with and without cleavage, and appliers for Phatazz, Slink total body, and Tango. One last look of the day, this is from the KittyCatS! advent calendar which I was so pleased to see returning this year, it has been a favorite of mine for several years. Today's gift is from Hilly Haalan, their stunning Sia Dress with its sheet of long luscious fringe down the front. The dress itself has a leathery look to it and some flattering seams to help shape it. The gift includes sizes for standard, Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, and TMP so you should be able to get a fantastic fit. The KittyCatS advent calendars can be found at many different locations (most of the participating designers' stores) but I have linked their mainstore location in the credits. It wasn't there the first day or two, so I had been going to La Boheme to pick up my gifts.
This is quite a week for me....today we are getting our Samsung washer repaired due to a recall because it seems they explode too, it's not just their dang phones!! Apparently there have been impact injuries from these explosions, and I had noticed it can be extremely loud sometimes. They apparently need a few hours so it seems pretty detailed. Tomorrow I have an appointment so I will probably blog hunt prizes but not Advent goodies (too time limited) in the late evening instead of before the appointment.

Hiya everyone! Today I have plenty of Advent Calendar gifts to share, all free with either no group needed or a group tag for a free-to-join group. I really enjoy this time of year, and am thrilled to be able to show you a small glimpse at the many generous gifts out there just waiting to be claimed.
One of Emerald Couture's two advent calendars has this spicy EC Crazy Love Jumpsuit as its prize for day 5, and it is included in standard mesh sizes. It looks to be a former hunt prize, but not one I remember doing, so it is great to get a second chance to claim this playful outfit.
Entice has some terrific offers in their Advent calendar for group member (free to join) and today's is no exception. This is their Electric Bird Dress in Brown Flower, with gentle frills and a flattering length. It includes a fitted version plus sizes for Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya with an alpha layer for classic avatars. Such a beautiful look, I cannot wait to wear this somewhere fun.
For something a bit more casual, click today's date on the Facepalm advent calendar and you can claim their Eir outfit. The sweater and jeans each come in standard sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, Lara, and TMP versions. Over at Lemonade Couture, I was pleased to pick up another striking retro style dress for day 4, their Carol Dress. I am not sure what time the store owner changes them out, so please be sure to visit quickly :) Their prior dresses so far have been this style with a variety of textures, and they come in several fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP. I love the frosty blue panels peeking through!
One last look of the day, this is our April Eyes in Deep Brown from Inkheart, their Advent gift for the day. In addition to the wonderful Advent calendars I have been visiting for the past few days, there are some terrific gridwide hunts that have just started this week and I have been enjoying (with Xan's help as always) The Advent Chase Hunt. This is a free gridwide hunt with about 50 stops, and the hunt objects are candles which are color-coded to tell you if the prize is Male, Female, or Unisex which could include one for each or something neutral like home decor. A few locations are marketplace stores, so there are designers involved who normally do not get a chance to participate in gridwide hunts which makes it even more fun.
This beautiful dress is from Waffles Babygirl and Gacha Finds, called *WM* Serial Christmas Dress. It is provided in standard mesh sizes, and with a few adjustments from my Maitreya Lara HUD I was very pleased with the fit. The colors are so striking, and I would certainly wear this year-round, not just for Christmas.
For another ravishing red holiday look, head over to Sweet Dreams and find their candle to claim this Xmas Dress gift hiding inside. The gold designs on the front are just lovely, and the dress comes in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. I love the velvety texture and the drape in the back.
Freya's Fashions has this alluring Noella outfit in Red as their hunt prize, and it is perfect for classic avatars as well as mesh bodies. The top and bottom are in system layers and an applier HUD for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and Omega, and the bows for each arm are an adorable touch. The matching hat and the flexi skirt each have built in resize scripts, so you can adjust however you wish. This would be great for a holiday party, or just to celebrate the season in style.
I did pick up plenty of Advent calendar gifts this morning too, one of my favorites being the Prism Designs Holiday Dangle Earrings by Jezzixa. This set includes green and red beaded pairs in silver or gold each, so 4 total pairs. The group is free to join, and you will need to wear your tag when clicking the calendar. You can also get a better look at my baby blues, today's eyes from the Inkheart group Advent calendar (free to join). As with all of their lovely eyes, these Juno Eyes in Truth come in 4 sizes of system or mesh, these are the Medium. So striking, and I have been a fan of their eyes for quite some time before joining their blogging team.
One last look of the day, this is a closer peek at the Advent gift for today from Hello Dave, whose free group tag is needed to click their calendar and claim your prize. December 4th HUD is for Slink and Omega, and features 5 designs of a snowy white background with dainty strands of Christmas lights draped across each nail. This is one of those fun looks because it is subtle enough to be worn with something extremely dressy, yet clearly shows a nail nod to the holidays.
Yesterday was a wonderful day here, tiring but just so enjoyable. The events I attended were each filled with great people and delicious food, and the second one was outdoors with Santa photo ops for humans and dogs ♥. If you are lucky enough to have a precious furball in your life, please give them a snuggle for me, as I have never had the privilege (feathered and scaly but not furry) but really adore them. It made my day to get to pet a 10 week old golden retriever puppy and then a 3 month old German shepherd pup who was a pure black beauty. Everyone was just gawking at how cute the puppies were, and kept approaching the owners to talk about them. The kids I saw interact with them were awesome, just gently hugging and petting them so carefully. A few adult dogs were dressed in their holiday finest for their Santa pictures, and it made my heart smile.

I am delighted as always to be sharing some Advent calendar gifts with you, it's my favorite time of year in SL because people seem generally nicer and there are generous gifts like these, and I can easily find plenty of holiday charity events inworld to spend lindens for excellent causes. Today I am sharing Advent calendar treats that either do not require a group membership, or there is a group tag needed but the group is free to join. Let's dive right in and peek at some gifts.
This is one of the Emerald Couture gifts for the day, there are 2 Advent calendars there and they are both distributing without a group tag. This eye-catching ensemble is EC Dice Dress Orange, and I usually avoid wearing orange with my auburn hair but this really looked too good to pass up. The gift includes system layers plus a HUD for Slink, Omega, Belleza, and Maitreya appliers for top and bottom, and the skirt panel in standard mesh sizes. Also in there you'll find the necklace, domino earrings, and matching Slink high sandals with such a cute dice pattern on them. This could be your lucky day if you claim it :)
After only 3 hours sleep in the past 24+ hours, this is absolutely the outfit RL me is craving! Our gift today from Moonstar is their Cats in Hats Onesie, and they are sweet black kitties in traditional Santa hats on the pattern. Also shown, a closer look at my beautiful eyes from Inkheart's Advent calendar today, their Prana Eyes in Envy. As with all their sets, these include system and mesh versions in 4 sizes each, this is Medium shown in mesh. This particular set attracted me with its tiny ring of brown in the middle, light green as the main shade, and that darker green almost becoming black at the edges.

These come in what I think of as the lucky 13 of mesh sizes, 5 standard plus 5 fitmesh along with Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. The top is a marketplace gift from Baby Monkey, their Baby Tees Basics which come in several colors (system/Omega) and I chose red to look festive against the green jeans.
I do love decorating my nails, and this Advent calendar gift from Go Frock Yourself is a seasonal surprise called Grinch Stole Christmas Nails. There are Belleza and Slink HUDs included, and each has 5 designs on a crisp white background. The tv show was just aired, I think the day after Thanksgiving, and I watched it with friends and family while nibbling on leftovers :) Good times, and fun nails that help me remember them.
It's no secret that I love Hello Dave's nails too, and this set simply called December 3rd is a perfect example of why. This advent gift (free group tag is needed to claim this one) is a Slink/Omega HUD with 5 designs, reminding me of ornaments for a tree...3 similar red and green polka dotted patterns, plus a solid red and solid green each with some glitter to help us feel sparkly. Whew, so much stress yesterday...my dentist appointment was a wasted trip, as they made a scheduling mistake and I was unable to get the fillings done so they recommended holding off on the cleaning as well...so the 20th is their first opening, early in the morning which is when I'd normally be blogging Advent stuff!! (It is about 8 AM here right now for comparison) I am stressing over the blog issue as much as the drilling and just the inconvenience of the fear then letdown that was my day. *deep breaths* I will find a way, I will survive, things are still generally good and in a couple hours I'll be off to those 2 terrific events nearby I mentioned yesterday. Then home to sleeeeeeep....

This comfy looking blouse comes in standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP sizes to fit just about all of us. Every great top deserves an equally great bottom, and the jeans here are a terrific Advent gift from +Facepalm+ for day two. Cleverly named Billie Jeans which immediately gave me a Michael Jackson earworm, these feature a HUD with 8 texture options for any mood...4 denim colors each in a new look and a distressed style. The black denim has some metallic gold peeking through so I thought it would work nicely with the gold blouse. These jeans are included in standard, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique sizing.
Sparrow by Design is offering a beautiful skirt set called Winter Fantasy as their Advent gift for today, with the jacket and skirt each included in standard mesh sizes. Despite the name, I can easily envision wearing this year-round. There are some furnishings to be found in these Advent calendars too, such as this adorable fireplace from Ollies Follies as their gift for the day. This is their Festive Fireplace, Snowflake, Beach edition, so that is probably driftwood smoldering on the grate in there. The runner across the top has some green snowflakes on it, and those Christmas lights with the classic big bulbs are a heartwarming touch.

You probably noticed my crimson tips and toes, well they are our fantastic Advent gift from Hello Dave, the HUD is simply named December 2nd and offers 5 designs for Slink and Omega. Each design is that eye-catching red with a different shade as a diagonal slash at the cuticle, full of shimmer and style. The free group tag is needed to claim these gifts, and I assure you it is well worth the group slot. Random side note, I am strongly considering doing my RL nails like this for Christmas! I am so sleep-deprived right now, and the next 30 hours or so holds a dental appointment to have at least 2 cavities filled, a dinner at my parents' just a few hours later so my mom was considerate enough to plan on soft foods (she rocks!) and I desperately hope some rest after that. Then I have a special event to attend at the local artisan market, a Christkindl German Market which is a first for us but probably the idea of the German baker/chef who brought us Oktoberfest for 2 years. It is so exciting, yet I am anxious about getting some sleep beforehand. Ohhh and there's another special event Saturday afternoon, a pop up holiday market that features French foods. Once I get through the dental visit, everything else should be amazingly fun, I just need to stay awake for it all ;)

Hiya everyone! Today I have spent the first few hours of my SL morning hopping around the grid (and crashing a dozen times, eek) to discover active Advent calendars. I picked up some amazing gifts, and I am so pleased to show you just a small sampling. But first, I have a couple more looks from the Sn@tch Fish 4 This - Through the Woods that I started showing you last night. Please see that post for all the details. Okay, let's get to admiring some gifts!
This is part of the terrific Sn@tch fishing set, the Through the Woods Mock Turtleneck in Black paired with the Plaid Snowpants in Teal. I also am wearing the Kellan Boots in Black that are a vital part of this set.
Same fantastic mock turtleneck, this time shown in Grey which completes the duo of colors you can catch as system layers or an Omega HUD for both shades. The pants are looking racy in red, and those boots are still making me very happy as you can tell.
On to some Advent calendar gifts, they are mostly for group members but the groups are free to join. The sparkly gift from Prism is their Tamiko in Holiday by Jezzixa Cazalet. It is provided in standard mesh sizes and you'll just need to join their free group and wear the tag. Then click the advent calendar to claim your daily gift. I am also sporting some gorgeous eyes from *Inkheart*, another Advent calendar for members of a free group. This is a store I am extremely proud to be an official blogger for, and you can see why by peeking at these peepers! Today's gift is their Eternal Eyes in Blue, which includes system and mesh versions each in 4 different sizes.
I went comfy casual with a delightfully nerdy twist here, an advent gift from Eclectic Stars called Chilly - Extermination. This charming hoodie has a low zipper and would look equally great with a system/applier shirt beneath it if you wish to stay a bit warmer. I love the brightly colored Daleks, and those awesome pockets. No group needed for this advent calendar, just click the right day and it dispenses geeky goodness.
One final look of the morning features two different nail sets, on the left you can see a sample of today's Advent gift from Entice. With their free group tag you can claim their gifts for free (pay $1L and be automatically reimbursed) or if you are out of group slots (I sure am now, good thing I was already in this group!!) you can buy any gifts you wish for just $25L each.
