High Tides and Good Vibes

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features some hunt prizes from the High Tides & Good Vibes 2 Hunt, sure to get you ready for a fun summer. There are $1L prizes plus $25L and/or $50L exclusive offers at each location, all hidden in pretty little seashells. Please follow the landmarks and hints on their website to find the correct prizes in the cases where there are more than one in a store. The preview images there will tempt you and inform you as to what each shell holds, making your hunting and shopping easier. I do enjoy that aspect of Cheeky Monkey hunts, having exclusive offers that are still quite affordable in addition to those dollarbie hunt prizes. We are also visiting The Makeover Room for a free group gift from Entice there, since their gifts are always worth picking up :) 

My first look of the evening is a flirty bikini from Starlight Apparel called .{SA}. Marva Queen Bikini. This $1L hunt prize includes the top and bottom each in sizes for eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. There are a variety of crown styles in gold and white shades on the pink background for a regal touch, and I really like the way all the top's straps are gathered in the back and tied all together. 

I also picked up the female prize at AmAzInG CrEaTiOnS, their Female Jacket Jerkin 4. The wrap dress is provided in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya body sizes, with 2 HUDs to fully customize your look. There is a fabric HUD with 9 choices, then a color changing HUD to tint your selected fabric if you wish by clicking a color wheel or inputting an RGB code. You can always tint it back to white to get the original texture's coloring back if you prefer. Now I did specify female prize because there is also a dollarbie male treat there, as seen on the hunt's website.

The Sissy Bar is reliable in their participation in many hunts with their quality prizes like this (TSB) High Tides & Good Vibes Hunt outfit. The top and shorts each fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. The buttoned floral blouse is opened just enough to show off some cleavage, and the denim shorts are a great length of "short but not too short" in my opinion :) Did you notice the fun logo stamped on the back right pocket? This cute casual outfit is going into my regular warm weather rotation for sure.

Next we have the $1L hunt prize from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. which is in one of three seashells here, just follow your hints to find each one you wish. This one is called KINDA SWEET Tee, and is emblazoned with "Kinda Sweet Kinda Savage" speckled with little stars. Purple always makes me happy, and most of the time I am more sweet than savage ;) Right, Xan??? We all have our moments of course. This sassy tank top comes in standard mesh sizes as well as fits for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. 

My final look of the evening brings us to The Makeover Room, where there are plenty of cosmetics to enhance your avatar's beauty at discounted prices. Since I have not taken the plunge into EvoX territory yet (which leads to investing in compatible new skins, etc.) I am focusing on the thoughtful group gift that is courtesy of Entice. That would be the wonderful No More Top - Aqua you see here, provided in both the solid and the lace versions seen above. These are each designed for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, held in place by shoulder straps and a third one that loops around the neck like a choker before attaching in the center of our cleavage. No need for a necklace with this great style! With this top and the one in the prior photo, I am wearing the white pair of Delizio jeans from their marketplace fatpack. That free gift consists of several hues in system/BOM layers along with Maitreya and Omega appliers for plenty of versatility.

Wow, what a weekend! The weather played a huge role, as the rain came with stronger winds than anticipated so my farmers market trip was mostly a bust. Their tents were being blown about and they closed early, while my ride got us there late so most of the vendors were already gone for the day :( It was frustrating but I understand their focus on safety, and really wish the owner had the indoor area cleared where it used to be held. Then everyone could have moved inside and been comfortably sheltered from the weather. He feels that it gets more attention being outside though, thus taking away the fact that many people (myself included obviously) loved the fact that it was the only year-round indoor market that helps those of us who are sensitive to extreme temperatures.  Hiya everyone! Tonight is another trip to the sewers of the Scoop 'n' Score Hunt, a challenging but very worthwhile endeavor where we look for free piles of poo in a three level sewer maze. It might be a good choice for your upcoming weekend if you have lots of spare time, as Xan and I spent a total of about 5 hours exploring and I feel that it went faster with teamwork. There are well over 100 prizes, I think the list on the website adds up to 130+, so it really is a valuable use of your time :) I have had so much fun with this year's prizes and the tongue in cheek humor like lot of amusing names for the poops, and don't forget to grab your free scooper at the start!

This stunning dress is the +Blue Blood+ Mara - BLACK hunt prize, a babydoll style with embossed black skulls on the full skirt. It is provided in a standard size for classic avatars, as well as Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. I couldn't resist pairing it with another of their prizes called +Blue Blood+ Keepitsafe Medallion. The layered necklace has a HUD with it that offers 8 choices, which are two designs in 4 metallic hues each. There is a cute lock hanging from beneath the pendant that says KEEP IT SAFE, a perfect sentiment for when you have entrusted someone with your heart.

In yesterday's post I shared two gifts from Normandy that combined for an appealing look, and tonight I am pleased to share two more :) The top and panties are our Flux MK2 [SNS] prize, which are each included in Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes. The various symbols on it are all in white, striking against the black fabric. Then I added the Normandy-MEAN BITCH Boots [SNS], thigh high shiny latex platform boots that come in sizes for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. They have a tinting HUD that you really need to play around with to appreciate, as it lets you color the trim, main boots, and platforms separately. The >>> marks on the back of the heels match the ones on the sides of the panties, so I am definitely liking these pieces together.

Another wonderful designer with multiple treats for us is Web Dew, with a dozen delightful prizes like this ::WD:: Dress Petal Cream Red. I feel like a fairy princess in it, and was amazed by the details like the veins on the petals of the skirt in the back! The dress comes in Freya Pushup, Isis Pushup, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes, while the sleeves are a separate attachment in sizes for Freya, Isis, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Tonic bodies. This way you can wear the dress with or without the sleeves, although I admit to preferring it with the sleeves since I adore their shape and the sweet bows.

Most likely I am going to the farmers market one way or another, but I might be getting a ride with someone whose driving makes me very uncomfortable. Oh well, as long as I get there and back safely I guess, all will be well. The weather will be rainy which doesn't help my anxiety, but there are some tasty treats waiting for me. Still Scooping 'n' Scoring

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are taking a look at some more Scoop 'n' Score hunt prizes, terrific treats found by exploring a three-level sewer maze to find free piles of poo. They have tiny faces and some even have little stick legs, which makes them surprisingly cute :) There are well over a hundred of them waiting for you to find them, all of which will reward you with a free hunt prize. The hunt and corresponding cart sale are open until the end of the month, so you do have plenty of time left for this challenging endeavor. I really want to thank Xan for his help, as he assisted very patiently and effectively when I managed to get lost in the sewer tunnels. I would not make a very impressive ninja turtle, but he just might! Some of the poops have amusing names too, as I do enjoy a good pun. 

My first look of the night is a pair of prizes from Normandy that create one smoking hot outfit! The Ransom [SNS] top and skirt are each included in Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes, in black latex with neon trim that can be tinted with the enclosed HUD. There are preset colors and an RGB input button, so you can really customize that hue. The Normandy-Veles Boots [SNS] have a similar HUD for their neon, and are provided in sizes for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. These gifts don't have to be worn together, but they certainly make a fine pairing.

As I mentioned yesterday, Web Dew has a whopping 12 generous prizes in this hunt, so naturally I am excited to share a few more :) This is their ::WD:: Long Dress-Gragients #4, a full length dress with bare shoulders and a terrific ombre of red to pink to purple. It comes in sizes for Freya, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, Hourglass Petite, Physique, and Physique Petite bodies. There are also a pair of earrings included with a HUD to choose from 10 colors apiece for three sections. I will definitely want to wear these with all sorts of clothing besides this charming dress :)

Summer is almost here, but can be any time of year in SL, so I was especially happy to find the ::WD:: Set Tropica GIFT from Web Dew. This prize consists of the top and panties to fit Erika, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. The flip flops are for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn flat feet. You can probably guess that there is a HUD provided too, well that has 4 sets of colors/patterns for the entire outfit at once, or you can click individual pieces on the HUD to color separately. For example, the flowers on the flipflops on the left were a darker color but I chose to use the yellow that is from the version on the right to pick up on the sunset coloring. 

If you are craving something a little wild, be sure to find the 'pile' that holds this sexy ::WD:: Dress Emery - Red (T) prize. Its T stands for translucent, which is evident when you realize that you can see the included panties through the sheer parts of the dress. Scoop and Score

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it is time to head to the sewers for the Scoop 'n' Score Hunt, with over 100 prizes hiding inside poo. Now I know that sounds odd, LOL, but there are piles of poop with a greenish tinge (radioactive?) that all contain free gifts that are not themed and are genuinely very nice prizes. The sewers have been revamped from last year's hunt to include 3 levels and more twists and turns than a library's worth of mystery novels ;) Xan and I spent about 5 hours exploring, and that was with the benefit of teamwork and plenty of hunting experience. I had been looking forward to this hunt after finding so many terrific items last year, and as you will see I was definitely not disappointed. The website has a list of participating stores and the number of poops from each, with a few who are listed as not ready yet. There are signs within the maze/hunt area that indicate more to come too, so I think they are going to expand certain areas and maybe add more gifts? I will be checking back regularly to find out. There is also a sales event happening above the sewer area, so be sure to stop by there too.

My first look has two prizes in it, starting with the [Fetch] Cadence Dress - FATPACK. This strapless mini has on and off versions so you can wear the top pulled down or up (as shown), both of which fit the Maitreya mesh body. There is also a HUD with 9 colors, including the blood splattered texture on the right above that works quite well with our other prize here. That would be the [Fetch] Blood Necklace, an unrigged necklace with a small glass bottle containing your choice of 3 types of blood. The included HUD has 4 metal options as well as 3 labels and corresponding liquid colors: My Lover, Unicorn Blood, and Alien Blood. The alien blood is glowy green, and the other two can be seen above with the closer view set for unicorn.

Web Dew has an amazing 12 prizes in this hunt, so it is a pleasure to share some of them with you tonight. I am starting with their ::WD:: Dress Mari - Berry, a beautiful strapless mini with golden embossed trim. It is provided in sizes for Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. This has such an elegance to it because of the gold!

Next we have the ::WD:: Dress Florence - Innocence #5 prize from Web Dew. There are versions with and without the blouse built in, each in Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Slink Hourglass Petite, and Tonic Fine sizes. I apologize that I saved the wrong copy of the right half of this photo, so that was before I changed the colors. 

I am also enchanted by their ::WD:: Dress Boho - Salmon prize, thanks to that intricate pattern and flirty bare shoulders. The dress comes in sizes for Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, with the belt to fit Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. It even includes a HUD for the belt so you can choose from 8 colors for it, or you can leave it off completely as I did on the right above. I think I prefer it with the belt if I go with minimal jewelry, or without the belt if I select lots of fun accessories. 

My final look of the evening is also a Web Dew prize, called ::WD:: Dress Harriett - Sky. The dress is created for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, with Legacy and Maitreya sized sleeves which are a separate attachment so you can wear the dress with or without. There is also a HUD provided with 5 colors each for various sections of lace, strings, bow, etc. for plenty of customization. I get such lovely Disney princess vibes from this beauty, maybe Cinderella? Just think, these hunt gifts are just one color of the many that each item was created in, so you'd better believe I am a fan of all this variety! I am absolutely heading back to the sale event and Web Dew's display is going to be my first stop.

Cosmpolitan 10th Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting Cosmopolitan, who are celebrating an impressive 10 years of bringing us exclusive offers and the best in fashion and home decor. This first round of the month is open until the 14th, and I believe there will be different designers/gifts for the second round celebration so I will absolutely be checking back :) If you join their free group, you will find gifts at many of the displays in wooden crates, so just give each one of those a click and you will receive a wide variety of treats. I'm excited to share a sampling of those in this post, as I congratulate Cosmo for their longevity in the event world.

For my first look this evening, I slipped into the Meva Enola Dress & Lyla Boots which are both inside their gift box. The dress comes in Maitreya and Petite sizes, while the ankle boots did not quite fit my Maitreya feet at high or mid heights so I just alpha'ed them away ;) The neutral color palette is so charming, and I was also drawn to the empire waist and bell sleeves. 

#Apl.Blossom also has a terrific gift for us, their Barcelona No. 10 jumpsuit. This strapless formfitting suit has a built in belt, embroidered lace, and a single sheer bra cup on the right. I am hiding my visible nipple behind my hand, but you can tell that the fabric there is translucent :) The gift includes Freya, Isis, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes, all in that great ombre of pink to purple to blue.

Next we see the flirty VARSITY / PAMELLA DRESS - FATPACK, a generous gift indeed. The crossed halter dress has a peekaboo midriff and short hemline, provided in eBody, Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite body sizes. There is also a handy HUD with 10 colors, so our fatpack is easy on the inventory count and easy on the eyes.

Another fantastically flirty ensemble is our gift from Candy Kitten. Their *CK* Pure love set consists of two tops (heart and white) and two skirts (red and white) that we can mix and match. The tops include sizes for eBody, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, with a HUD in each to choose from 10 colors for the hearts on the front (nipple covers) and 5 metals for the buttons. As for the skirts, those have a HUD with 5 button colors and 3 choices for the panties (black, white, pink) as well as black or white for the lace trim and the option to hide the panties. Now as you can see on the right, the skirt is split in the back and the flaps are held open, so hiding those panties will turn out to be a very cheeky option. Yes, bad pun intended ;) The skirts will fit eBody, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies.

My final look of the evening is actually two gifts, a full outfit and a bonus bit of belly jewelry. The shirt says "dream" on it, which made me smile, and the low cut mini skirt has a flourish of plaid. I added the FashionNatic - Camila BellyRing - Gift since the plunging skirt waistband shows it off so well :) This rigged belly piercing comes in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with a HUD that offers a whopping 50 colors for the stone and 8 metals. You can see it better in the inset above, a rounded orb of whichever gemstone you wish that is caged with swirls of metal. 

It was a busy day at home, and I have been keeping an eye on the local news this evening because of a bear roaming around a nearby neighborhood. It's not far from where my best friend lived when she first got married, although she is in the mountains now and sees bears quite regularly in an odd coincidence. This is a very developed suburban area with houses very close together and tiny lawns, so it is surprising. They are trying to lure it into a trap with baked goods, LOL, since tranquilizing it did not succeed. I'd crawl into a cage for free donuts, but jelly wouldn't be my first choice...yes, they actually specified that on the news.  Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features several gifts for the FabFree in SL group, which is the inworld presence of the wonderful blog by the same name and is free to join. I have been a huge fan for ages of course, of both the blog and the group, so seeing all the notices recently about new group gifts inspired me to check out some slightly older ones. This way you can catch them before they are swapped out, just in case that happens sooner :) You will need their group tag active, and since it reads "I am Fabulous" it is especially fun to wear it around the grid. 

First I visited Emerald Couture, where I claimed this beautiful EC Seductive Sparkle Gown Set v2 Gold gift. This shimmery textured gown has a plunging neckline to balance out the long sleeves and full length skirt, and comes in fitmesh standard sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. There are matching shoes also, provided to fit Belleza, eBody, Maitreya, Slink, and Tonic feet. I think this would have made a great look for the Met Gala this evening! Next we have the .:Bad Rabbit:. Ferni Outfit Lavender gift for FabFree, an alluring blouse style dress opened almost down to the built in belt, with matching thigh-high boots. The dress is provided in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes, while the boots are for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. There is also a HUD that offers 2 choices, darker or lighter hues, for the dress, lacing, belt, boots, and heels, plus an option to hide the belt. The pattern is apparently ferns based on the name of the outfit, although I admit to having mistaken it at first glance for feathers :) Either way, I am a fan!

Tastic has an amusing gift for us called I Wasn't Listening Top, and there are two signs to click beneath the FabFree sign depending on whether you wish to claim the men's version or the ladies'. Both read "I wasn't listening so I'm gonna nod, smile, and hope for the best" which cracks me up because as someone with hearing difficulties I do wind up resorting to this tactic at times ;) Mostly if I have politely explained to someone many times that I have trouble hearing them clearly, then I get tired of saying "What? Sorry? Pardon me? Can you repeat that please?" over and over. The female sizing consists of Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous fits. I am wearing it with the blue jeans from the Delizio fatpack that you can find free on the marketplace (and beneath many tops here on my blog) in system/BOM layers as well as Maitreya and Omega appliers.

I also visited the Harambee-Gwassi Kenya charity shop, where we can receive this striking Love Moon Dress with Hud gift with our FabFree tag. It has golden stars on it and the text "I love you to the moon and back", on a slip dress that is included in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizes. Its HUD offers 6 preset textures which are various colored backgrounds, and then an RGB tinting ability if you want to adjust the look even further. I tend to prefer silver colored jewelry over yellow gold usually, but this dress will look amazing with your favorite gold accessories! Bonus style points if your jewelry has stars in the design too.

My final look this evening is the FabFree group gift courtesy of ART & FASHION, their DEMONS MINI DRESS. It has a very meaningful saying on the front, "I have the power to conquer all my demons." which is something I hope I can truthfully say someday. The gift includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. As with all of their various group's gifts, we need to pay $1L by right clicking the sign, but it is automatically refunded while the gift is delivered so it in the end it is still free. I really like the cutouts of the dress, which is already lovely but they do add something special.

Group Gifts for SLFO

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I was in the mood to explore, and that led to finding several SLFO group gifts. The SL Frees & Offers group is free to join, with many participating designers who have gifts for the group waiting for us in their mainstores. As you will see, it was a successful day finding generous gifts at some very familiar stores and one that is relatively new to me. I do appreciate any excuse to stop by a new store, just as exciting as the old favorites but in a different way. 

My first stop was Blackbird Lace, where I went upstairs and claimed their LIZZIE SET BY BL gift. Its top and pants are each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, and Physique body versions. The cropped top is tied on each side, and shines in ambient lighting. I was intrigued by the pattern on the pants too, and their high waisted fit that flatters our curves.

In the same shopping center you will find the Black Angel store, where the gifts are also located upstairs and include this fun LANYA SET by BA STORE outfit for SLFO. The bra top and sporty capri length pants each come in sizes for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Minim mesh bodies. The top says QUEEN 01, while the pants have BAD GIRL on the front and back with the number 78 on the left hip. 

Vanilla's Fashion is the new-to-me store of the evening, and I was very pleased with the SLFO group gift called {VF} Unicorn Dress + HUD 4 Colors. The mini dress has a full skirt and a sweetheart neckline, which look terrific in any of the 4 colors from the provided HUD. The dress itself includes Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, and Voluptuous mesh body sizes. I will definitely be back to this store in the future!

Next we head to Lara AC where we can teleport to the gifts area using the sign at the front door and claim their charming Cardia Green dress for SLFO among many other group gifts. This pretty wrap dress fits Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. If you are in other multi-designer groups, be sure to look around and see what else you can claim while you are here :)

For my final look this evening, I visited the PETRY MODEL STORE and picked up their TATTOOED DRESS SWY gift. The halter style mini has rectangular cutouts on the front and a plunging back that reveals a teeny bit of bum cleavage, making this a playful choice for a mature rated club. The HUD that comes with the dress lets us choose from 5 solid colors and 5 patterns, two of which you can see above. I particularly love the purple ombre, and wonder which you will wear first. 

This weekend felt like it went by fairly quickly, although I am not sure exactly why. I had a great time at the farmers market and finally asked about the Boston terrier's name, which is Fagin like the Oliver Twist character. I don't think I read the book and saw the original black and white movie (from 1948) when I was a kid but not since, so my memory is foggy for sure. He just enjoys seeing all the people and getting lots of attention, and I noticed that two of the vendors have free dog treats so he gets healthy snacks (some of the foods they sell might not be dog friendly) and there are bowls of water for dogs at a few locations as well. People who are kind to animals make me happy, what can I say? :) Today was a mellow kind of day, and because of the new month I have some exciting places to explore for future blog posts.
