Womenstuff Prizes

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more Womenstuff Hunt 2022 prizes to share, all of which are free and hiding inside red t-shirts with the Womenstuff logo on the front. If you are a member of the Womenstuff group ($50L to join) you can visit their headquarters and claim a free HUD to navigate the hunt path very easily, and if not I have a link of the store landmarks that was shared in a group notice by one of the participating designers. I was already in the group as I had been for several years, since one round before I even started blogging had the prizes set to group members only. That speaks to how long this event has been a part of SL, and explains why I am so excited that they are back in business :) There are so many really impressive designers taking part, and I am grateful to every single one of them for helping to revive this wonderful hunt.

My first look this evening starts with the .:FlowerDreams:.Lin Outfit prize, a striking tube top and mini skirt combo. They are each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Signature Alice sizes. The top is gathered in the front and tied with a loose bow, while the skirt is is gathered both front and back to show off even more :) As soon as I saw the beautiful .::PC::. Flower Earring Set - Gold & Silver prize from Pink Cherry, I knew exactly what I would be pairing them with! Both pairs are included and have a fun sparkle called nano bling, which you can turn off with a command if you prefer as there is a notecard included with the instructions. I love the bold colors of these prizes, and think they would be a good choice for someone who finds pastel shades of pink to be too cutesy. 

For a more casual but equally flirty style, head to Ruxy and claim their versatile Carla Outfit. Its sheer top comes in Maitreya and Petite sizing, and the shorts with built in belt will fit the Maitreya body perfectly. There is a HUD with 5 textures each for top and shorts, then 2 colors for our belt and 2 metals for the buckle. I feel like I have been seeing a lot of lace lately, so perhaps it is a summer trend :) If so, I am here for it!

The very generous Hawker's House has one t-shirt hidden but with 4 prizes inside. This is their *HH* Ladies Mesh Boho Crop Top n Shorts, one of those 4 gifties, and it lives up to its name in style. The fluttery strapless top and matching shorts are each included in 5 fitmesh standard sizes as well as Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. The blue and white colors reminded me of clouds in a bright blue sky, but also a vintage china pattern whose name escapes me. Either way, I find the color combo soothing and classically beautiful.

Another gift from Hawker's House is their *HH* Ladies Mesh Men's Button-Down Shirt Aegean seen here. The shirt comes in standard mesh sizes along with versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The pillowy slippers will fit most flat feet, and look dreamy soft. This look puts me in mind of waking up on a sunny weekend morning to find some coffee to share with Xan ♥.

My final look of the night has me feeling sultry! This beauty is the La Feminique - Pam bikini, a bra top and thong pairing replete with playful ties and a pattern of tropical greenery. These separates are included in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique body sizing. Sunlit beaches, here I come...

For some reason this week is feeling slow to me, and I have no idea why. It isn't necessarily a bad thing, just odd I guess. My RL week has one appointment, the podiatrist on Thursday, which will be a relief since I do have one ingrown toenail that is getting uncomfortable. Maybe I am eager to get that taken care of, so the days before it feel sluggish. The weather is warm but mostly decent this week, and I still have lots of Womenstuff stores to visit so my SL time will be busy and productive :) I hope you're all having a terrific day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Wonderful Womenstuff

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we begin to explore the Womenstuff Hunt 2022, which I cannot begin to express how excited I am that they are back! There are some changes from previous rounds, with one notable difference being that all prizes are free instead of $0L or $1L designer's choice. They are still hiding inside red t-shirts with the Womenstuff logo on them, and there are over 100 participating stores so it is a bounty of beautiful treats :) Initially they indicated that the HUD was necessary to get from store to store, for which you need the Womenstuff group tag ($50L to join) to obtain the HUD from their headquarters. However, a designer shared a link in a group notice to a list of all the stores and landmarks, so I am sharing that link here. I am in the group and obtained the HUD, and transferred a copy to Xan since he wanted to help me hunt even if he cannot use any of the prizes. When you land at a location, a hunt greeter will tell you the hint in local chat so you can find the prize easier. It is a good thing we have the entire month to find all of these t-shirts, LOL, since the current count I believe is 117 stops. Many thanks to all of the generous participating designers!

My first look this evening is the prize from Vulnus called Medea Outfit Bubblegum. Its bare shouldered long sleeve blouse and pants with rear pockets and wide legs are each provided in Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. I was drawn to the cheerful color, and the bohemian flavor from the bellbottoms and flared sleeves. 

If you need a little black dress, be sure to find the t-shirt at LUXE Paris so you can claim their pretty BIRKIN Dress. The prize includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, and the dress has a deep V plunge both front and back. The bell sleeves are trimmed with just a hint of white lace, and the top has a very subtle eyelet lace type pattern embossed for added visual interest. 

Another pretty in pink outfit is the Bronte Babygirl Pink prize from YoUnique Couture. The top and skirt are each provided in eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique body sizing, with a sweet quilted pattern and ruffles on both. The sweetheart neckline and tiny peek of midriff are fun touches, and I am feeling summery in this look.

Next we have the sexy JUMO Originals - GLORIA Dress 006 Mint prize. This one-shouldered dress fits eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Signature, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Minim mesh bodies. There is also a HUD included with 3 texture choices, one of which is the floral on the left above and the others are shades of green lace. This dress is certainly sheer, and does have a C-string panty liner built in for a touch of modesty. It is not really visible from behind though, so that rear view is quite cheeky ;) I love the beautifully tied bow atop the right side slit and the one on the back holding the straps in place like a neatly wrapped gift. 

My final look this evening is the GGVG prize called PAMIR GOWN, and it can be worn two different ways for extra versatility. The top and skirt fit together perfectly and each come in a classic M size as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. There is also a prim skirt included with lots of flexi motion, that I am wearing on the left above but omitted on the right so you could see the mesh skirt on its own. We can wear it either way, so it all depends on your personal tastes :) I remember when flexi and prims were our only skirt options other than the system skirts, so sometimes the movement makes me nostalgic in a good way.

Mondays are less gloomy with something positive to look forward to, so my time working on this hunt with Xan brightened my day and I expect will be a part of at least some of this coming week. Teamwork helps because we can each take one half of a large store to explore, or we might think about the hint in a different way so we talk it over and do our best together. It is not the only hunt on the horizon this month for us, but certainly the largest, and I am delighted that it is back :) I hope you're all having a lovely day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Under The Sea

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I visited the Under The Sea 3 event, brought to us by Evil Bunny Productions. There are special offers with 25% - 50% discounts from each designer, and nearly all are offering a free gift for the Evil Bunny Hunts group. The group is free to join, and the I am Evil! tag is worth the trip too :) The event area is decorated amazingly, and we even get to walk on water as we explore. It just opened and lasts until the 14th, so just about a week and a half to stop by and enjoy. 

My first look tonight starts with the Indigenous - Scarf Top free gift. This loosely tied bandana top comes in eBody Curvy, Erika, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Perky Petite, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes. There is also a HUD provided with 8 textures to choose from, whose colors remind me of rippling ocean water. Then I added the Pearl Belly Chain gift from JR Wolf Creations, which is included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. Its HUD lets us choose from 8 colors for the pearls that dangle in the front, and 2 metals. This gift adds a touch of flirtatiousness to any outfit. 

The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. is also offering a group gift, called MERMAID OFF DUTY Tee. The white ribbed tank top with "mermaid off duty" on the front is provided in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. It definitely made me smile! In this photo and the previous one, I am wearing the blue pair from the Delizio fatpack of jeans we can find on the marketplace for free. There are several colors in system/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega. 

I also visited the BlondeQueen display, where I found their lovely [BQ] ::Peonia Bodysuit:: GIFT. This strapless bodysuit has a fun floral pattern and open back laced gently in place. There are Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes included. 

Next we take a look at the beautiful Crayon's Closet gift called Butterfly Dress. It includes panty liners (C-string, no straps) and the dress each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. There is also a HUD included with 3 color choices, the two seen above and a bright teal blue. The style really suits the warm weather, and the panty liner provides a touch of modesty.

My final look of the evening is a closeup view of the Emi's Attic gift called Norse Mani Pedi Collection. There are Maitreya and Omega appliers that each have 10 colors to choose from, all with the same intricate artwork drawn on in black. I have no idea what the symbol of the design means, but it is gorgeous! The background colors have a touch of pearly sheen, and will look lovely on whatever shape nails you prefer. 

It was a nice weekend here, and I am working on various plans for the next few blog posts. There are hunts and upcoming events among the possibilities, so plenty of new releases and wonderful themes. More Pride At Home

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it is my pleasure to show you more gifts you can find at the Pride At Home event region. There are lots of kiosks that will introduce you to LGBT+ friendly businesses in SL, and they have treats available for all visitors with no group tag needed. The event lasts throughout the month of June, and there is a hop & shop where you can teleport to each participating store (the At Home part) to see what sales items they have created just for Pride month. I am proud to be an ally and it makes me happy to see the SL community coming together and supporting each other ♥. Please be kind to each other, not just this month but all year round!

My first look tonight features the *LD* Be Proud Gift Set FATPACK from LittleDiamond. The top and shorts fit eBody, Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, and the gift includes a HUD with 4 texture choices each for the top, shorts, and lace/hearts. There are different images on each texture for both top and shorts, with various color combos for the bow with cute dangling hearts. I wore this outfit all over the grid while working on some gridwide hunting for next week's posts :)

Next I slipped into the "deluge . may top - PRIDE GIFT" for a sweet summery look. This top comes in sizes for eBody, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with an 8 texture HUD. The choices on the HUD are 4 different rainbow images on either black or white backgrounds, so I decided to reflect that by wearing one of each backdrop color above. The jeans are probably familiar to you if you've read my blog before, as they appear here in various colors quite often :) These are the blue pair from the Delizio fatpack that is a free gift on the marketplace, several hues in system/BOM layers plus appliers for Maitreya and Omega. They come in handy for tonight's post since I have more tops to display...

This cozy looking shirt is our Justdd Pride Edition gift from True Damage. It is provided in Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite body sizes, in a warm taupe color with a circular print of the rainbow pride flag embossed upon it. I appreciate the loose fit, as sometimes I feel like most of the clothing in SL is skin tight and I enjoy variety.

I found two charming gifts at the ELEVEN display, their Marie Top in v1 on the left above, v2 to the right. They each consist of sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, and honestly I cannot decide which one I like better! The "Be You" of v1 gave me 70s flashbacks in style but a timeless reminder, and the teddy bear wearing rainbow striped shades beneath a heart-studded rainbow is just too adorable. So pick them both up for free and you don't have to choose between them :) Just deciding which to wear first I guess will be our biggest challenge.

For my final look this evening, I figured you should get a better look at the wonderful Beaumore 'Pride' Mesh Nails gift. Their 'Rainbow' nails gift made an appearance here last night, and while those were more pastel colored I would say these have a vibrant beauty all their own. The unpacker HUD lets you select just the size you need from Freya, Reborn, Kupra, Legacy, or Maitreya bodies/hands, then clicking that button delivers a folder with all 4 available shapes and a color HUD. There are almond, coffin, square, and stiletto shapes, and each nail can be colored individually in your choice of 5 designs. The rainbows are similar to each other, as the yellows are to themselves, but you can do all 5 nails on each hand as yellow or all 5 as rainbows if you wish, or mix and match to your heart's content. I am wearing the stiletto shape on the left side of the photo (my avi's right hand) and the square version on the right side.

Happy Pride Month

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are starting to celebrate Pride month with some wonderful gifts found at the Pride At Home region. Be sure to have a peek around and see what they have planned for the month here, and if you want to do some themed shopping there are also offers at many talented designers' mainstores. As for the gifts tonight though, they are all found at the Pride At Home expo area, lots of booths that have supportive and meaningful offerings with no group tag needed to claim most of the freebies. I am a longtime ally because of two special people in my life (my eldest first cousin on my dad's side who is in her 70s, and my godparents' son who has always been a dear friend since we were babies) who inspired me to be accepting, kind, and respectful of all. For tonight's post, be ready for lots of vibrant colors and possibly a refresher on the myriad of pride flag designs out there ;) I get some of them confused and every June I think I see new ones, so please forgive me if I get any mixed up as my memory is not what it used to be.

First we have the gorgeous LRD Imri dress Pride at Home from Loud Rebel Design, which includes 3 versions in each size. Those sizes would be for the Freya, Hourglass, Kupra Original, Kupra Bimbo, Kups A, Kups B, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. One variety says Love Is Love encircling the midriff, a simple yet powerful expression of equality. The others are slightly different rainbow gradients, and I adore them all. 

I combined two gifts for my next look, and they work so well together for multiple reasons. The top is the *NeverWish* Pride Glitter Heart Top gift, a cropped tee in sizes for Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a heart shaped patch that has animated glitter that you have to see in person to fully appreciate. There is a HUD with 19 designs for that heart, various flags such as the ally I chose for the left above and the bisexual flag on the right which was chosen more randomly. My shorts are from Apl.Blossom and are called Ericka Shorts - Pride At Home Gift. They include Legacy and Maitreya sizes with a 4 color HUD for the metals, so the waistband snap and chains that drape across the front. Plenty of rainbow hues make appearances on the design, and the high waisted style is quite flattering. 

Apl.Blossom's shorts came in handy tonight as a pairing for several other tops like this pair from CLUB KRUSH!. Their gift consists of crops and tank tops, with female sizes of the crop tee to fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. As you can see, they sport different versions of the LGBTQ+ friendly club's logo :) There are men's tank tops in the same gift and designs, for Belleza Jake, Signature Gianni, Slink, and TMP bodies. 

Some occasions are just more fun with a stole, LOL, especially one adorned with a meaningful rainbow. This is the #SCHOEN - Teddy Stole - Rainbow Edition, which I am wearing over my CLUB KRUSH tee but you can add to just about any outfit from casual tank top to elegant gown. The gift offers sizes for Erika, Freya, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Love Momma, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, although I suspect that other bodies could work with one of those versions if their arms are a similar build. Not only did I get to show off the back of the stole here, but you can also see the rear of those great shorts to read the LOVE IS LOVE and see the rainbow of hearts down the mid seam. I love the butterflies on the right too!

Did you notice my new mesh nails tonight? Well let me show you a closer view of the Beaumore 'Rainbow' Mesh Nails which is one of two gifts they are offering at Pride At Home. We start with the unpacker HUD and choose our mesh body from the Freya, Reborn, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya buttons, then each delivers a folder containing almond, coffin, square, and stiletto versions with a color HUD. Use your body's HUD to hide their built in nails and right click-add your choice of mesh nails, then pop on that HUD and have some fun :) There are 5 variations of the rainbow gradient that you can apply to each nail individually. I am wearing the Almond shape on the left side of the photo, and the Square nails can be seen to the right. 

It was certainly a day...well I had a hard time falling asleep before my doctor visit, so I was concerned I would forget to mention important things and am still not certain I covered it all. I will need to visit another specialist soon, and some things generally improved while others worsened. Nothing shocking or overly troubling, and I have a few more busy days ahead which is typical for my Fridays and Saturdays :) The weather should be decent for the next few days, unlike this afternoon's storms that knocked my power out for a bit. I got home before they started and got some rest, so it was okay if not ideal. I have more Pride At Home gifts to share tomorrow, and am working on some other ideas for the next few posts since a new month brings new events and hunts. zOOm-ing Over To Free Dove

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I visited The Free Dove, where I happily explored and found the zOOm display which is loaded with ladies' fashions. There are 5 gifts there which can all be yours for free with the "Blessed by a Dove" tag from The Free Dove's group active and a simple click of each gift. I enjoy the range of casual to more dressy, and colors from simple black to every shade of the rainbow. Variety is the spice of life, and that does include Second Life of course :)

My first look of the evening is the zOOm - Violetta Dress, a flirty sleeveless mini with ruffle-trimmed cutouts on the sides. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes, with a handy HUD to tint our dress to any color at all. It shows the RGB code for wherever in the grid you click, then there are sliders to adjust the shade even further. Spoiler alert - it looks great in any hue!

The zOOm - Lucie Sweater is such a cute and cozy gift, a cropped sweater with loose turtleneck and long sleeves that extend to cover the palms for a little extra warmth. There are sizes for Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a 5 texture HUD so you can choose your look. Each texture is a different color with its own unique artwork on it, fairly romantic options that made me smile.

If you are headed to a cold climate in SL (tempting when it's this hot out here in RL!) I can also happily suggest the zOOm - Julie Puffet Jacket gift at The Free Dove. Next we have a little black dress that is far from basic. Their gift called zOOm - Astara Dress has a strapless sweetheart neckline and built in belt, and I love the way it hugs my curves. I can't decide which way I'd like it better, accessorized with tons of colors or with a single accent color for even more drama.

For my final look of the evening, I chose the zOOm - Color Me! Outfit gift which is an eye-catching treat that also suits the month of June. This tank top with playful crossed straps and its matching jeans are each provided in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh body sizes, with a HUD for the top with 5 texture choices. Each of those has a different main color with a beautifully contrasting scribble of paint coming from the brush on the front. The jeans do look like an artist has been hard at work, and maybe got into a playful fight with someone also armed with a paintbrush :) The rainbow of colors does remind me of Pride month, something I will be celebrating here on my blog very soon ♥.

It was a frustrating day here for a myriad of minor reasons, but I got my blood test results on the lab's app and they are about what I expected. My liver and thyroid are still out of whack, hehe, but everything else is within range. My dad always gets concerned to find out if my blood sugar is okay, since most of his family was diabetic and he saw some of the really rough symptoms associated with it, but I will be happy to inform him at dinner Friday that once again I passed that test ;) His concern comes from a good place, so I appreciate it. The weather is still pretty hot, and there will be thunderstorms later in the afternoon but I'll be home before they start. Gifts For Mesh Body Friends

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are taking a look into the Mesh Body Friends group, which is free to join and is a multi-designer hub of information where participating stores share information on sales and special offers, and let's not forget that many of them offer gifts for the group's members. That is what I will be sharing this evening, several of the treats I found while visiting some of the active designers' stores. If you are a member of more than one of this type of group, some stores have gifts for many similar groups so be sure to keep that in mind while browsing.

My first stop was OXO where I found this sweet Melis - Lara Dress Red as our MBF group gift. It fits the Maitreya Lara body and has a lovely unique style, loose fitting sleeveless with very high slits on both sides. The texture caught my attention too, reminding me at first glance of a giraffe print and then a cobweb. I even saw a few spots that resemble hearts, so my imagination was quite tickled!

Next I stopped by DM Design and gratefully claimed their Cerasela Outfit for the group. This strapless mini dress has playful openings both front and back, and comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with a lucky 13 textures to choose from, like the floral on the left above or several crushed velvet colors like I selected for the right. 

This sexy treat is the MBF group gift from Fatal Fashion called ::FF:: Dress NyCk Purple. There are Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes included, all in the gorgeous lilac shade and with a pearly sheen. The halter neck is affixed to a metal collar, and the back plunges daringly to reveal a peek of bum cleavage. Are you ready to get noticed in this beauty?

I also visited >>LRS<< where I found this alluring Soraya Dress as the MBF group gift. Beautifully shiny textures must be the unofficial theme of this post ;) Soraya comes in a standard fitmesh size for classic avatars, along with sizing for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The provided HUD offers 10 color choices, a couple of which are combinations like on the left above. That solid green certainly caught my eye too, such a vibrant color!

For my final look this evening, I visited GeMyles where there are always lots of generous gifts upstairs like lucky chair prizes, a midnight mania board, and of course gifts for many different groups. It was a really hot day out, about 95 degrees when I got my blood drawn in the early afternoon, and the script took up 3 pages printed out but only needed 2 tubes of blood so I am relieved. The bruising is minimal, which is surprising because of how pale I am. I am one of those people who bruises easily and then the discoloration sticks around for ages, which means if someone notices a bruise and asks me about it I'm probably gonna give a weird hesitant answer because I simply don't remember anymore.
