Black Or White Gone Casual

Hiya everyone! I have one last post tonight from the Black or White 2 Hunt for you, and these prizes lean more towards casual. We don't always need to be elegantly gowned, even if it is fun, since there are so many things to do in SL that need a wider variety of clothing. Let's take a look, shall we? :)

My first look is both gifts from Emmalena Damour Designs, who are #27 in the hunt. The top is their Vanessa Sweater Chenille in Dark Gray and is the black path prize, provided in 5 mesh sizes. The white path prize is the Pencil Skirt Tweed White, standard sizes of mesh panels with a system pants layer plus appliers for Slink and Omega. While they look lovely together, they are also easy to mix and match with a huge variety of your favorite key wardrobe pieces. That's the joy of neutral colors.

Next we have a very familiar silhouette in this hunt (half these designers are as taken with the full perm mesh as I am with the results it seems), this being the white path prize from County Couture, #29. The floral shift dress comes in 5 standard, 5 rigged, Slink, Belleza, and Maitreya sizes for lots of options, and the Boho boots are included for classic avatar feet. 

Find the black path prize at Country Couture, and you'll be adding a most useful outfit to your inventory without taxing that total number :) The single mesh piece outfit comes with a HUD featuring 6 texture choices for each the top and pants, so you can mix it up to your heart's content. It also includes the lovely heels in a Slink version and a non rigged pair so you can edit and adjust those as needed.

The black path prize at CDA Creations is a playful, casual polo shirt in standard mesh sizes. I paired it with a marketplace freebie pair of pants I'd blogged before (see credits) as it is too short to get away with showing alone ;) I like the preppy feel of it, not my usual vibe but a welcome change of pace.

Our last look of the night is both prizes from Ollies Follies, which are each provided in male, female, and toddledeedoo versions. On the left you can see the black path prize, the Daelyn Sweater, which is in standard mesh sizes. On the right is the lovely Denia Sweater in Grey Flake, also standard mesh sizes. The male and toddler versions of each have slightly different names, but the same patterns and basic designs. They're both so comfy cozy, I can't even pick a favorite.

Nail note of the night: I picked up this week's Hello Dave group gift right before taking these photos and decided it was as good a time as any to share :) I'm wearing their We're On nails HUD which works for Slink and Omega, and there are 10 designs incorporating red and white squiggly lines. Well what can I really say about today except ERMAHGERD, SNOWMAGEDDON!! Okay I'm not genuinely freaking out, I'm well prepared and grateful as all get-out to have a generator for when we lose power (yes when, not if, as my little cul-de-sac always seems to lose it even if the wind blows too hard or it rains too much) with at least 3 days worth of propane. I do hope that everyone who is in the weather danger zone stays safe and warm, my worries are all for others at this point rather than myself. Warm and magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
