Sweets From Swank

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we return to the wonderful Swank Event and their 10th anniversary round. If you join their free group, you can claim dozens (hundreds?) of free gifts by clicking the golden orbs with a number 10 inside them, and there are some treats for the guys as well as plenty for the gals. I know I've already shared lots of these gifts, and there are still oodles worth checking out :) They will probably be offering gifts next month for Halloween too, LOL, so if you enjoy these designers you can hang onto the landmark because we will surely be back.

For my first look of the night, I am wearing the ladies' gifts from Hawker's House. Their *HH* Ladies Mesh Sonja Button Sweater Ivory is packaged with the jeans you see here, and the *HH* Ladies Mesh Solana Sandal Heels Caramel are in a separate box but from the same gold orb. (There is also a men's gift in the neighboring display!) The sweater has brown buttons down the left side beneath the bared shoulder, and comes in classic M and fitmesh M standard sizes, as well as versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. The rolled skinny jeans are provided in 5 standard mesh sizes and 5 fitmesh sizes, along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique body sizing. As for our lovely neutral heels, they are a fun match for those buttons and will fit Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, Slink, Tonic, and Voluptuous mid-height feet. They can easily be worn with other outfits too, and I am definitely enjoying the peeptoe style with the closed heel for this time of year. Another handy hint I'd like to offer is to use the alpha layers that are included with the sweater and jeans if any of your body is poking through...as long as your mesh body is BOM compatible (as the vast majority are) you can hide what you need to without even touching your body's HUD.

My next look combines elegance with sex appeal :) The AnaSTyle - Manola Pink&Black gift includes the dress, footwear, and even the jewelry seen here, so it really is a complete outfit all for free. Our dress comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, while the boots are provided in Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. These look like strappy sandals with fishnet stockings to just above the knee, all in one piece for easy wearing. Then the necklace and earrings are unrigged and adjustable if needed, with a lovely dreamcatcher vibe. 

VEGA also has a charming goodie waiting for us, their Mesh Lila Dress. The top and skirt look like separates but are linked and worn at once, in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. There is also a HUD included with 10 choices, each of which tint both top and bottom at once in either matching or coordinating textures. You can see on the right above a choice that has patterned blouse and solid pink skirt, and I recall a brown skirt with a leopard print top (or vice versa, now I forget LOL) so there is a terrific variety here. I'm loving the bare shoulders and the asymmetrical hemlines, both top and cinched skirt. 

If you can't get enough plaid this autumn, be sure to grab the YK - Noa Set gift from YoKana for a tempting schoolgirl type look. The cropped top and pleated miniskirt each fit Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, and the gift includes a HUD with 12 options for each. This is certainly a case where I suggest trying all the buttons on the HUD and seeing what combo speaks to you on any particular day :) Okay that is almost always going to be my advice, lol, as I have too much fun with HUDs as you can tell. Sorry not sorry, that's what they are there for and I think the designers would be pleased to know that we are taking advantage of their creations' versatility.

My final look for the evening is our gift from StunnerOriginals, their beautiful Dress Nara Fatpack. The neckline is the star of the show with its intricate trellis of fabric, and the extra short skirt is a good reason for them to have built in a pair of panties :) There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD that offers 12 choices each for dress, waist (neck piece) and panties. 8 of those are solid colors like the purple on the right above, and the other 4 are lovely floral patterns. Mixing and matching is always a good time, and the neckpiece is slightly sheer so it does look a bit different even when you use the same texture on both visible parts.

Whew, what a weekend! I had a buildup of anxiety before my therapy session, so when he was telling me we really ought to go to the dentist office parking lot (in other words, get your butt in a car to get over the fear!) I couldn't even speak for a moment, then burst into tears. Not my finest moment by far, heh, and I am still honestly a bit embarrassed even though being vulnerable in front of one's therapist is expected and not a bad thing. I pulled myself together and got to the parking lot, and he thinks I did better than previous attempts made during therapy sessions. My stomach was uneasy but I was able to distract myself to some extent I guess. Otherwise I had more fun with Paleo Pines, as they'd released a video of one of the dinosaurs (Gallimimus) interacting with a picnic table so of course we had to obtain one and watch that for ourselves :) If you ever play games on Steam or Xbox and like relaxing farming style games, I do highly recommend this one. I've learned more about dinos in the past several months than I ever did in school, that's for sure, and loved every minute of it. KaraBaby Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I decided to switch gears for a bit, and headed to KaraBaby where I found several fantastic group gifts as well as lucky boards with really nice prizes. The best part is that the store group is currently free to join, so we are going to have lots of fun without spending a mesh arm and a leg ;) It is always a pleasure to visit someplace I haven't been in a while, like hanging out with an old friend for the first time in ages. Their style is sexy and colorful, both of which made me smile so I hope it does the same for you.

The newest group gift is probably the first one you'll notice on this wall, our ~KaraBaby~ Group Gift - September 2024. This lovely wrap dress has images of hot and cold beverages on it (I think that one with the whipped cream is a blended frappe type of coffee) but just on the left side, with a deep brown on the other side and the back. We receive sizes for Legacy, Bombshell, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. So which do you prefer, hot or iced, and coffee or tea? For various moods I enjoy them all honestly, but right now it's an iced decaf coffee evening :)

Next I slipped into the ~KaraBaby~ Group Gift June 2019 dress, a pretty pink floral patterned mini with plunging neckline. It fits eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. I'm not good at identifying flowers other than a few basics (daisies, sunflowers, roses, lilies) but if anyone knows what type this is on this pattern, I'd love to hear your thoughts. 

~KaraBaby~ Group Gift June 2020 is a floral print too, but wildly different flowers and colors :) Just don't ask me to pick a favorite because I am very fond of both. This sleeveless cutie has one side gathered and tied at the thigh, and is provided in sizing for Altamura, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Signature, Star, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. 

I also picked up the gorgeous ~KaraBaby~ Group Gift - July 2020 outfit, and boy am I glad I did! The dress comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with coordinated mules to fit those feet (Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, Slink). The pink and white flowers look so pretty against the brown leaves, and the heels of the shoes are a fun match. 

My final look of the evening is a lucky board prize rather than a group gift, called ~KaraBaby~ Ooma - SeaBreeze. I was so excited to win this one because that green to blue gradient is so dreamy! It includes 5 standard mesh sizes along with Eve Pulpy, Eve Slim, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. There are two noteworthy peekaboo openings here, the one beneath the bra area and the one in the back created by the cinched strap across our back :) If I had the correct nail polish colors on hand in RL, I'd absolutely be trying to do an ombre manicure to match this.

Dinner with the parents was very nice, and we looked at more old photos since my mom put together an album for a cousin who lives too far away to visit often. These photos were from the 40s, so way before my time which makes it even more intriguing for me to see glimpses of life back then. They always dressed so much more formal than we do these days, ties for the men and dresses or skirts for the ladies. I don't even own a single dress that fits :P  My weekend should be fairly quiet until the therapy session on Sunday, which I expect to be a strenuous one. More Swank Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post comes from the bounty of group gifts at the Swank Event, for their 10th anniversary round. The group is free to join and there are gifts for men and women here, so everyone can enjoy exploring both stories of this huge event and claiming gifts from golden orbs with a number 10 decorating them :) I've still got dozens more of these gifts I'd love to share throughout the month, as this round is open until the end of the month.

My first look of the evening is our !OA-MEO! =Beth= gift. This sporty top and shorts combo includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes for each piece, plus a HUD with 14 options each for the top, band, ribbons, shorts, and shorts band. The solid colors for the shirt say "Queen" with a crown on the Q as seen on the left above, and there are several fun patterns to choose from as well.

I also picked up this gorgeous gift from ::Sweet Intoxication:: called Maisie Dress - Cranberry. The straps are the star of the show here, or at least are crafted to make you the star of the show ;) Our gift includes sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Lara X, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I love the vivid color, and the way we get to show off plenty of skin but cover all the essentials.

I was blown away by this next gift, [C.YFashion] *FANNY* Dress Grey. It starts with a fishnet dress that has a peekaboo opening over the breasts, then we can layer a bra top and panties beneath if we wish. All pieces will fit Freya, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The dusky color is perfect if you want something neutral but not basic black, as it is still quite moody and dramatic of a hue.

Our [COSMOS] Brenda Lingerie / 10 Colors Fatpack gift is just right for an intimate evening at home :) The lacy bodysuit is provided in sizing for eBody Curvy, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, Signature Alice, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, with a 10 color HUD just as you can guess from the name. I am one of those people in RL who is very sensitive to textures (thanks, neuropathy) so this is one of those looks I especially treasure in SL because it would be very impractical in RL. It's also just a gorgeous style, don't you think?

My final look of the night is the playful Melody Yassira // FATPACK gift. This dazzling dress made me think of a ballerina thanks to the extra full skirt, and the deep plunging neckline is a wonderful detail. There are sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, Classic, and Curvy mesh bodies, and a HUD that lets us choose from 20 solid colors and 20 patterns each for the dress and the button on the front of the waistband. I would definitely add some panties to wear in public, as you can tell that rear view is a cheeky one ;)

It was quite a day, with an outing to the park with my mom which was nice :) She brought a box of old photos that she wants to organize to bring to a cousins' gathering (her generation, not mine) soon and so we were sorting through them in the parking lot, and I even helped her figure out how to solve a mystery of an undated photo. I spotted a calendar hanging on the wall, too small to see but I told her to take a picture with her phone and pinch-zoom, hehe, and we looked up what years had Tuesday as the first of October as shown. She is still amazed that I came up with all of that, LOL, but I was just grasping at any straws that might be helpful. Back To Cool with FabFree

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we return to school with the FabFree Back To Cool Hunt. This wonderful hunt has prizes from $0L - $5L that are each hidden in neon rainbows, and many of the participating stores have more than one prize waiting for us. I had a wonderful time as always, exploring these locations and finding not only the prizes but plenty of sales offers from all of these talented designers :) Find all the gifts you wish throughout the month of September. Just use the hunt website to guide you with the landmarks, hints, and preview images to see what is in each pretty rainbow.

My first look this evening is a sampling of the many prizes found at The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co., all 4 of which are hunt exclusives for $4L apiece. On the left above you can see the STUDY SUCKS Tee, featuring a drawing of a young lady who is looks to be quite overwhelmed by her return to school. She reminds me f a a bit of a certain heroine from a well known magical book and movie series, the female third of a main trio ;) The tank top on the right is our CLOSED BOOKS Tee prize, which reads "I closed my book to be here so this better be good" above and below a stack of books with a cup of tea steeping on top. I definitely feel that way if I'm ever interrupted while reading! Both of these (and the other two prizes) are provided on unpacker HUDs, which offer standard mesh sizes as well as eBody Classic, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizing. I also visited Designs by Danielle, where one of their $5L rainbows contains this lovely DANI Dragonfly Jumper Dress. The long sleeves and attached belt are in a soft sage green, while the rest of the dress has a beautiful dragonfly print. We receive sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. This isn't their only rainbow either, so be sure to peek at the other choices too!

Meander has several prizes too, like this fun M/M 1 School Daze Dress for just $1L. It's got a great layered look with blouse, vest, tie, and pleated skirt, all linked together to wear as one playful piece. This treat fits Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

Next we see one of the five fantastic prizes from Telsiope's Couture, each of which are $5L apiece and (like all of this hunt's prizes!) worth so much more :) I randomly selected prize 4 which is their Ilary dress to share, since I can never seem to resist a bare shouldered style or playful ruffles. This prize consists of Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, as well as a HUD with 20 options. There are 10 patterns and 10 almost solid colors, lol, as at first glance they look solid but actually have a subtle design printed on them that is nearly the same hue. So, what hotspot should I wear this to first?

My final look tonight is a free prize from @rOrO, their FabFree Faces Sweatshirt. It's ideal for cooler weather that is approaching rapidly (not that my RL weather got that memo...) and is versatile thanks to the included HUD with 4 color options for the background and trim of the sweater. There are Legacy and Maitreya sizes in addition to the aforementioned HUD, and it will go nicely with your favorite bottoms. I slid back into the blue pair of Delizio jeans that I wore in the first image of the night, one of their fatpack marketplace gift colors.

Still Swanky

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm diving back into the Swank Event gifts, as I have tons that I just can't wait to show all of you. The 10th anniversary round is open until the end of the month, and in that time they have established the Swank event as a reliable source of top designers offering new releases at great prices. They also do love a good celebration with group gifts for all :) These treats are found in gold and glass baubles/balls with a number 10 in the middle, so even their containers are beautiful. I also want to remind you that there are a few men's gifts among these treasures, so spread that news and bring a male avatared friend or two.

My first outfit of the evening is the [4U] ~ CASUAL Collection ~ 002 gift. This charming bare-shouldered top and ripped jeans are each provided in Freya, Isis, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, and since they are separates they can be worn together or individually with other favorites. The floral pattern on the blouse is mirrored in the blossoms on the right front pocket area of the jeans, a noteworthy detail just like the built in belt of our pertly cuffed jeans.

Next we see the AXE-DRESS GWEN / 06 which is one of the gifts from the AXE Store. This beauty includes the well-matched top and skirt in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. Then we can pair them with neutral black heels that fit Belleza, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Slink feet. They have gold at the ankle and draped down the heel, which matches the clasps on both the top and diagonal hemmed skirt. 

This sexy outfit is our *ASIA* FIONA pink gift, and it is sure to turn heads! The dress and panties are provided in Belleza Classic, Belleza Classic Dainty, Belleza Curvy, Belleza Curvy Dainty, Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, and Reborn mesh body sizes, with towering heels that fit Belleza, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn feet. The fingerless gloves are a BOM layer and they are no-copy, which I mention since they will not unpack correctly unless you rez out the package and open it the traditional way. That should serve as your reminder that anything you add to unpack that is labeled "no copy" may not be delivering all of its contents, since we are technically copying those items into our inventory and you cannot copy an item while it's attached to you. I love unpacking HUDs, but I've learned over time to be careful and check those permissions :)

Another terrific gift I get to show off tonight is the LUXE Paris CONGO Dress. Its bare shoulders are great for these in-between weather days where it is still warm but occasionally breezy, and the bold stripes are interspersed with animal prints to great effect. This gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes.

My final look of the night is the Ahlure - Clara Outfit gift, just in time for autumn with those long sleeves and lush knit pattern :) The top and skirt each fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and we also receive a HUD with 12 colors each for the top, skirt up, and skirt low. The skirt up refers to the broad waistband, and the skirt low would be the remainder of this pretty pleated micro mini skirt. What type of color combo would make you happiest for this outfit? I like contrasting the waistband and skirt, but all tinted the same makes for a very sleek appearance that also looks wonderful.

It was a quiet day and an overly politics-filled evening, LOL, so I am very much looking forward to heading into SL later to unwind with Xan and prepare my next blog post. It's 77 degrees in my office right now, so I don't think Mother Nature is ready to let go of summer just yet...perhaps like me, she's having hot flashes :P  My feet are chilly though, oddly enough, so I think I'll be donning some slipper socks in a moment. Swank 10th Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to head to the SWANK Event, to help celebrate their 10th anniversary. There is an abundance of amazing group gifts waiting for us, all ours to claim with their free group tag active. For the most part they are in beautiful gold and glass balls with a 10 inside, similar to a fancy Christmas ornament. I do remember this object from previous years with the matching anniversary numbers, and blogging them has been delightful each time :) Be sure to explore the entire event, both floors, to make sure you see all the offers and of course collect all these gifts.

My first look of the evening is our flirty [Enchantress] Yumi Dress Red Gift. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies included. The vibrant color looks so pretty with the spaghetti straps that cross in the back, and the way the bodice is gathered and tied with the bow dangling into a peekaboo opening.

Dark Angel : Suna Dress Mini Pack [1] is another don't-miss gift that includes 4 different textures each in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Three patterns I recognized as animal prints, but I'm not sure about that one on the right above ;) I really like them all! The neckline is clever, and the slits on each thigh show off a little extra skin. It is a great bonus detail to have a golden zipper in the back, as sometimes I tend to want that realism of how we would get into the clothing.

Next I changed into the charming [LA BELLE] CAROLINE SET FATPACK gift. The top, jacket, and skirt will each fit Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. We also receive a HUD with 21 logos for the shirt, plus 22 colors each for our top with or without polka dots, skirt with or without polka dots, belt, and straps that are laced through the holes in the jacket sleeves. There are also 22 shades of denim for the jacket. I love the wrap tulip style of the skirt, and its fluttery ruffled hem. This feels like a perfect autumn gift :)

This versatile cutie is the AVAgirl - Kendra gift, a romper with lots of possibilities. It was a decent day here, and I visited my mom really quickly to drop off her birthday card and gift. Settlement on my grandmother's house is tomorrow, so they have a busy day closing that chapter of life. It is sad but necessary, and I know she is upset to see the last of the family's houses in their little neighborhood sold (we always jokingly called it Lastname Village, my grandma's maiden name, as 3 of her brothers and her sister all lived there) but I wish the absolute best to the new homeowners and am glad they will be creating new happy memories to go along with the ones we have there. The news today was so sad, losing James Earl Jones and then hearing about the funeral for the Gaudreau brothers and how it's not just the younger brother's widow who is pregnant but the older brother's wife is 9 weeks along with their third child. Those ladies need our best wishes and prayers, as they are facing some heartbreaking challenges. Well I do hope you're all enjoying your day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Kawaii Secrets

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting Kawaii Secrets, who are celebrating a birthday round with free group gifts galore :) As you can probably guess from the name, there is a lot of cuteness to be found, with an anime flavor that also makes sense with its name. This round is open until the 24th of the month, and their group is free to join so you can easily claim all the generous goodies in all of the pretty gift boxes. There are around 60 total gifts, so that makes it very likely that you will find several treats that tickle your fancy :)

My first look of the evening is the gift from Tatiko, simply called Top and Shorts Fatpack. They have included sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, as well as a HUD with 10 colors for each piece. I do love the ability to mix and match, and did you notice the low cut arm holes on our top? The shorts are cut high enough to show off a little cheek in the rear view, which suits the low cut neckline quite well too.

The shorts came in handy to show off another gift, the Minali. Yara Top - Purple. It's got a great style with the cleavage-baring opening and single strap that zigs across the back diagonally. It comes in Legacy, Nerido, Perky, Reborn, and Juicy Boobs mesh body sizes. I can easily envision pairing it with jeans, skirts, and even shorts in the warm weather :)

Two gifts make an appearance here, starting with the [C.YFashion]*CLODY*BIKINI BOM gift. The name tells you what it is of course, BOM or system layers of a strapless bra and thong bottoms of a bikini. They are each provided in black, gold, navy, nude, orange, pink, purple, red, white, and yellow, and all have a fun glittery texture. I decided to pick out a tattoo gift since I'm already showing so much skin, LOL, and wound up selecting our BeMia. Fiora tattoo. This treat is also in BOM layers, with faded, fresh, and BW neck (black and white) versions included. The floral butterfly artwork is gorgeous, and it really contrasts against the blackout ink on the neck wonderfully.

Next I changed into the nude bikini top and bottom, and switched tattoos to show you the NANITAS DESIGNA - Starlight Tattoo gift. There are full, lower, and upper layers each in black faded 50% and 75%, black fresh v1 and v2, white faded 50% and 75%, and white fresh v1 and v2 versions. My recommendation (as usual) is to try on the various components and see which one you like best, what matches your tastes and your outfit the most. The tattoos here are mostly focused on the front of the body with a small line of designs on the spine, all starry and lovely. 

For my final look of the evening, I am having fun showing off both versions of the SH JK Sailor Summer Uniform gift from Silver Hawk. The red and yellow dresses each come in Legacy and Maitreya sizes, and definitely make me think of Sailor Moon or simply what I've seen of various anime characters in school settings. Of course the skirt is probably far shorter than RL uniforms would be, lol, and the texture is quite unique :) There are plenty of earrings and accessories among the gifts that you may decide to try on with this, to see what catches your eye.

This weekend was weird time-wise, like it felt so slow each moment until now we're at the end and it feels like I was just typing out about my upcoming weekend. The dreaded houseguest is still here and asleep, with plans to leave after breakfast, and I am ready to have my home be more quiet again. They are so loud whenever together and when watching endless sports, but at least they left the house for dinner during my therapy session. I needed privacy and peace, plus obviously they needed to eat, lol, so it was a win-win. Therapy went fairly well, and I'm a bit emotionally drained which is not really surprising. In The Still Of The Night

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to check out the Still of the Night Hunt 2 from Cheeky Monkey Hunts. This feels like a fun way to begin the spooky season ahead, particularly with the nights getting longer now. At each participating store we are looking for a full moon image either containing a $1L hunt prize or a $25L-$50L exclusive offering, and we can find the hints to guide us on the website. That's also the place to check for the landmarks and preview images so you know what you can claim in these hidden moons :) I am always intrigued to see what the talented designers will offer, and I believe you will be as impressed as I am. There have been numerous songs over the years with similar titles as the name of our hunt, but as an 80s teen I thought of the Whitesnake one first ;)

For my first look this evening, we head to Simple Terms who are offering their ST - Silence Outfit as a $25L hunt exclusive. The dress, panties, scarf, and boots are all included, in sizing for Maitreya and Star mesh bodies each. The lower portion of the dress has a smattering of golden stars on it, matching the boots in that respect, and the sheer scarf has gold stripes to coordinate beautifully. I appreciate the way the diagonal hemline looks with the similarly asymmetrical sleeves, giving a very unique style that will certainly turn heads.

Their neighboring store GoodVibes has a lovely $25L exclusive offer also, called Whisper Set. It consists of the dress in Lara X, Petite X, Maitreya, Petite, and Star sizes, plus the heels in Maitreya and Star sizing, with BOM modesty stockings in blue (right above) or gray. The dress and shoes have bows on their backs, and I was drawn to the way each color of sheer capri length stockings give different overall looks. We can always wear them without either pair if we prefer too, lots of great options here.

Whew, we made it to the weekend!! I was already stressed out, now I am wondering where I can hide Lego pieces for them both to step on 😈. Okay no, I am not planning any harm at all, other than maybe flushing the toilet several times while either of them is showering...okay I am joking, but I am not exactly tickled pink so I am venting a little. I had a rough week and needed to recover this weekend before Sunday's therapy session, but instead will be hiding and listening to beer-soaked bellowing over sports. I swear they make more noise (and mess) than most of the people actually attending these games in person.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting the [ADD] store, whose group is temporarily free to join for the month of September. I know there is usually a fee, so this is a great opportunity to save some lindens and get into the group to claim several wonderful gifts :) They also had a generous Advent calendar last year for their group, so it is worth staying in the group if you can spare the group slot. Believe me, if that idea made you groan or roll your eyes I get it, as I'm constantly shuffling groups and wishing they would give everyone more group slots now that most cost money to join. The golden studs all over the top are a fine match for the triple chains draped over each hip on our pleated pants. I think the color is one of those classic hues that suits any time of year, any hair color or skin tone, and a wide range of moods. For that reason it is definitely going to be a staple of my wardrobe!

Well, I took the day off from blogging yesterday to prepare for a dentist visit, but my anxiety/panic took over in the morning and ruined things. I was unable to sleep or even close my eyes without freaking out, and there was no way I could have gotten in a car in that condition. Even after canceling the appointment, I was still unable to get any sleep for several hours until I finally dozed off for maybe 2 hours tops. So I've been stewing over my own failures and not in a great frame of mind, then I ate something that was more greasy than expected and now my guts are unhappy. All in all it's been a rough couple of days, but I am planning on going to my parents' for dinner (at least spending time there even if not eating) and I think both talking it over with them and then being distracted by the visit will be positive things.
