Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to check out the Still of the Night Hunt 2 from Cheeky Monkey Hunts. This feels like a fun way to begin the spooky season ahead, particularly with the nights getting longer now. At each participating store we are looking for a full moon image either containing a $1L hunt prize or a $25L-$50L exclusive offering, and we can find the hints to guide us on the website. That's also the place to check for the landmarks and preview images so you know what you can claim in these hidden moons :) I am always intrigued to see what the talented designers will offer, and I believe you will be as impressed as I am. There have been numerous songs over the years with similar titles as the name of our hunt, but as an 80s teen I thought of the Whitesnake one first ;)
For my first look this evening, we head to Simple Terms who are offering their ST - Silence Outfit as a $25L hunt exclusive. The dress, panties, scarf, and boots are all included, in sizing for Maitreya and Star mesh bodies each. The lower portion of the dress has a smattering of golden stars on it, matching the boots in that respect, and the sheer scarf has gold stripes to coordinate beautifully. I appreciate the way the diagonal hemline looks with the similarly asymmetrical sleeves, giving a very unique style that will certainly turn heads.
Their neighboring store GoodVibes has a lovely $25L exclusive offer also, called Whisper Set. It consists of the dress in Lara X, Petite X, Maitreya, Petite, and Star sizes, plus the heels in Maitreya and Star sizing, with BOM modesty stockings in blue (right above) or gray. The dress and shoes have bows on their backs, and I was drawn to the way each color of sheer capri length stockings give different overall looks. We can always wear them without either pair if we prefer too, lots of great options here.
Next we head to The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. where there are 3 moons, one at each price point :) The $1L moon holds their MOONWALKING Tee prize, with someone taking their dog for a walk in front of the moon's silhouette...anyone out there into cryptid spotting? If you think about it, Sasquatches deserve to have furry friends too, as long as they are kind to their pets of course. The BETTER IN PAJAMAS Tee is the smile-inducing $25L exclusive on the right above, also with a lunar theme thanks to the crescent moon and stars adorning the "life is better in pajamas" text on the front. Personally I agree, as for me it means I am not rushing to go out and can expect to stay cozy and maybe even relax with some tv or a movie. The Sissy Bar has a gorgeous $1L prize waiting for us, simply named (TSB) Still Of The Night 2 Hunt. This strapless dress has a sweetheart neckline and fluttery layers on the skirt, with a fantastic pattern of the night sky on the upper layers. There are Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes included. I really want to wear it to a club with lots of silver jewelry, just my first impression for whatever reason :)
My final look of the evening is a reminder that your nails can really complete an outfit, and the ::REA:: Moon Bento Round Nails are a perfect way to accessorize your fingertips for just $1L. Whew, we made it to the weekend!! The housemate informed me earlier that the dreaded houseguest has decided to grace us with their presence, as they are in a city 2 hours away and...football...whatever. As you can tell I'm just thrilled, LOL, as when it comes to sports I very much have a "wake me when it's hockey season" attitude. I was already stressed out, now I am wondering where I can hide Lego pieces for them both to step on 😈. Okay no, I am not planning any harm at all, other than maybe flushing the toilet several times while either of them is showering...okay I am joking, but I am not exactly tickled pink so I am venting a little. I had a rough week and needed to recover this weekend before Sunday's therapy session, but instead will be hiding and listening to beer-soaked bellowing over sports. I swear they make more noise (and mess) than most of the people actually attending these games in person.
