SL21B Shop And Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm really excited to share some SL21B Shop & Hop gifts, as there are 24 regions loaded with 480 total stores who are nearly all offering free gifts with no group tag needed. SL21B is SL's 21st Birthday, a grand celebration with a theme of elements (like fire and water, not as in oxygen and magnesium) that is optional but is resulting in some terrific creations. It opened on the 21st and we have until the 21st of July to explore it all, and with all the celebrations we almost need that much time! The shopping is a big part of it but not the entirety, so I'll refer you to the official destination guide to see the bigger picture. I would also like to share the link to the FabFree post with their amazing spreadsheet, which has been ready since the event opened which shows you just how hard those fine folks have been working on things :) You can use the tabs on the bottom of the spreadsheet to sort by store name or type of gift, so if you want to find a specific store or only look at male gifts (Xan's next quest, lol) these are just a click away. As I always do, I am taking the gifts one region at a time, so tonight's are all found on Poppy.

My first look this evening combines two gifts at once, since why not start big? :) The top is our SF:: Summer Leather Top GIFT SLB21 treat from Scarlet Fey, a sleeveless tank top crafted from two shades of brown leather. I kept those jeans on again here, but swapped tops into the beautiful ***Ambrosia***Bustier [SHOP&HOP GIFT]. I adore the floral print, and the red hue of the blossoms made me think of poppies just like the name of the region :) This treat comes in Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizes. It seems this is one of the designers who has changed over to Lara X and eliminated classic Maitreya from their size set, which is why I am wearing my Legacy body for most of this post.

I can't decide if I look like a fairy, pixie, or princess here! This is the * EXiA * Evelina Dress SL21B Gift, and it starts with the beautiful full skirted dress in sizes for Legacy, Lara X, and Petite X bodies. There are panties built in, and separate sleeves that seem to fit all of the body sizes. Now if you'd prefer this without the panties I mentioned, there is also a HUD with show/hide options for them :) So with or without panties, with or without adding the sleeves, there are plenty of ways to wear this feminine and frilly beauty.

Next we see the stunning Utopia Little Star Gift! dress, a single piece with a layered look since it appears as though the front was cut out to reveal a bra or bikini top. It comes in Gen X, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizes, with a handy HUD offering 4 colors each for the dress and the lining. We can also right click - touch (from inventory is easiest) to turn the full bright on or off, definitely a helpful feature with PBR altering our lighting ;) Hey, sometimes little stars shine the brightest, right?

My final look this evening is our gift from Salt & Pepper called S&P Fernanda dress FATPACK. At this point I realized I'd misread and had to swap bodies from Legacy to Lara X, lol, as the only body I own from the sizes provided :) Those would be Gen X Classic, Gen X Classic Dainty, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu bodies, and we also receive a wonderful HUD with 16 colors each for the cotton lace and the satin/bow portion. It sure looks like I got very attached to pale pink hues here, huh? The darker dramatic colors are as pretty as the pastels of course, and I try to show as many different colors at once for contrast to demonstrate which sections are which.

Generally my life is boring, so why do my weekends tend to be so chaotic lately? My housemate woke me up as soon as I drifted off to sleep, to tell me that there is a big loud wasp in the house somewhere and I need to...help? Protect him? I don't know. He wound up leaving the house for most of the day, getting home just in time for my therapy appointment which I decided to have indoors instead of out and about in the car in the stifling heat. There was a thunderstorm during my session, so the therapist got to watch me flinch and jump for a reason other than car anxiety ;) Otherwise it went well, a deep dive into my psyche, so not comfortable but effective. I scheduled an appointment for a blood draw on Tuesday, which will be helpful to get my health things on the right path. Melody and Giselle at Palomma Plaza

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to bring you all with me to Palomma Plaza, home to countless gifts and fond memories of The Free Dove :) The free Palomma Plaza group tag allows you to click any of the gifts you see here and claim it for your very own, and the tag reads Doves Angel as a sweet nod to Palomma Casanova who was also known as Dove. The gifts I'm sharing this evening are from two stores with beautiful women's names, Giselle and Melody. Their displays are neighbors here at Palomma Plaza, and my link should give you a red arrow/beacon to standing right between them :) I firmly believe that just about everyone can find something here to benefit them, male or female, new to SL or a longtime resident. 

First up, we see the flirty MELODY SARAH DRESS FATPACK gift which is a sheer knit sleeveless mini. There are sizes for Kalhene, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included, with a 20 color HUD to change things up as you wish. The see- through nature makes me think it would be a very handy beach coverup too, for your favorite bikini.

Speaking of which, we can also claim a generous bikini gift from Melody too! Their Kalila // FATPACK includes the top and bottom (called up and down) pieces in sizes for Reborn, Classic, Curvy, Erika, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies each. There's also a HUD of course, 20 solid colors and 20 matching prints each for the upper and lower sections. The pattern is so cute, with animals and hearts in various colors :)

Our third gift on this display is the MELODY MAYSSON DRESS FATPACK, which could be a fun choice for visiting clubs this weekend :) The dress and sleeves are separates that each fit Classic, Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. There are 2 HUDs, solids and latex, each offering 20 color options apiece for the main dress, trim, sleeves, and cuffs. I used the latex HUD on the left and solid on the right, which it appears gives us lacy cuffs for our sleeves. 

One of the two wonderful gifts on the Giselle display is this Giselle dress - 1009, loaded with sex appeal. The bodice is loosely draped and held in place by a bold chain, to match the belt around the waist. We receive Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes, as well as a HUD with 16 dress colors and 2 metals for the chains. A very useful bonus is the panties HUD, an applier for Omega and Maitreya in 17 different colors. I was very drawn to the lace trim at the skirt hem, just another dazzling detail :)

My final look of the evening is the eye-catching Giselle*Jetta 0719 gift, with bold lace and fun bows on each side of the waist where it's tied in place. In sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies just like the other gift, it also has a couple of HUDs...the dress can be your choice of 16 lovely colors, and you can apply one of 17 colors of panties with the Omega/Maitreya applier. You can definitely tell that I made good use of this one too ;) I picked the berry colored panties to match the dress on the left, but on the right I went black dress and blue panties beneath. That is actually more of a thong style, but the lace makes that less obvious at first glance.

If you're wondering about the shadowy line on the top of my photos tonight, and generally different lighting shown, well I did update my Firestorm with PBR, so that's all about shadows and light so things definitely changed. I tried at least a dozen different EEPs (windlight type settings) and simply wasn't satisfied with any of them, as the shadows can alter the look of the clothing I'm wearing too much for my purposes. Expect further tweaks, and please bare with me as I adjust things. I did have dinner at my parents', and my mom found some letters that she was eager to show me. They were all from the 1940s, one from my grandmother's brother serving in WWII so it was censored and vague, another from their father's sister in Italy which is in Italian and we can't read it (handwriting, google lens couldn't either) and a third from my great grandmother to my grandmother while she was in the hospital after giving birth to my mom. It was typed by my grandma's sister because their mom didn't read or write English. I'd heard about the letter because great grandma was upset that grandma wanted to give my mom the name Jenny, great grandma's name, because apparently Jenny hated her name. My mom is not named Jenny but something similar, and both my mom and grandma always regretted it. That means I'm the first woman in 4 generations not to hate her own first name :P  So that's your weird magpie family story for the weekend, lol, and I've got a few things to do before diving back into SL to play with environment settings again.  Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings lots of gifts for the MLM Free&Offers group, a multi-designer group that has a tiny $5L fee to join. My first stop of the evening was [ConTrato] where I claimed their beautiful Idris Dress. It has a stunning golden halter neckline that doubles as a statement necklace, then the mini dress hugs our curves in sleek satin. The only non-solid hue is the black with white polka dots I'm enjoying on the right above.

I really like the way the top forms a triangle pointing down just past the waist, with similarly angular neckline that draws attention to the cleavage. 

A new favorite outfit for when I'm feeling casual and sassy is the W.G STORE - Florence Set seen here :) Its tank top and denim shorts, each trimmed in black fishnet, are each provided in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Bimbo, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a HUD that has 10 color choices for the top and 8 for the shorts. The distressed look of the shorts is such a fun look for denim, and there is something so playful about the crossed straps in the back of the tank top.

I must admit I was pleased to see the zipper on the back of the pants, because can you imagine having to lace yourself into this every time you wear it? ;) That's just good attention to details in the design, and I do appreciate that.

My final look of the evening simply captivated me with that adorable print of pairs of birds snuggling :) It is our ..YIA.. There is also a HUD for the small decoration (flower?) at the peak of the neckline, with 20 colors so you can add a pop of contrast or match it to the purple or pink colors of the fabric. Even the back is flirty with those straps, so this made me very happy for lots of reasons :) Combining birds with my 2 favorite colors was certainly the start though. 

I feel like I'm just going to melt into a puddle on the floor under my desk here, lol, and we haven't even reached the peak of the heatwave yet. That would be Friday through Sunday, so we have a really steamy weekend ahead. I didn't go out today because of the heat and not feeling well, and I was fortunate that my new doctor actually responded to my question (about the new medication) really quickly. We are staying with the lower dose for now and will discuss in the near future. If I can't tolerate a therapeutic dose, it may not be the right fit for me, but there are other options so I am not too discouraged. That is pretty much what I told her almost word for word. In SL news, I see that Firestorm has updated for PBR but I am not ready to tackle that quite yet, however I know that it will be exciting news for many :) I hope you're all having a lovely day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Colorful SWANK Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we've got another handful of group gifts from the SWANK Event and their Celebration of Colors round. It is an ideal time with Pride month, and the gifts are tucked inside rainbow striped flames at many of the displays on both floors of this large event. I've been a fan of SWANK for quite a while now, and I think you can tell why :) Talented designers, generous gifts, it is a winning combination for sure.

My first look of the evening is our ANNA-eZY Dress Swank Event Pride gift, a sexy draped dress with plunging neckline and diagonal hem. The gift includes sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, with a HUD offering 10 terrific colors. I really like all of them so it was difficult to narrow down to just two for the photo, so random it is :)

Our [GIULIADESIGN] EWA- 1 gift is an easy-to-wear one piece with the appearance of a sleek turtleneck tucked into a miniskirt with softly pleated hem. There are Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included. 

It's the right time of year for flirty swimwear, like our [COSMOS] Isabel Bikini Set Lace / 2 Colors I am enjoying here :) The top and bottom each fit Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Kupra Bimbo, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD to select from two colors each for the main fabric, trim, and lace insets for each piece. It was another scorcher today, and the evening is not much cooler. It was 79.8 degrees in my office when I started this post, and I'm very glad that it's down to 76.3 now but would appreciate it going even a little lower if it could. It occurred to me that my stomach issues the past several days coincided with the increased dose of the new med, so I sent my doctor a message asking about it and I am planning on dropping back to the bare minimum dose while I wait to hear back. Since it's the first time I have sent a message to this new doctor, I don't know yet how prompt she is in replying, but fingers crossed that it's before the weekend. Aggressione and RFL

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm inviting you to a new-to-me store called Aggressione, where you will find some lovely offerings. ACCESS and Summer Carnival

 Hiya everyone! Tonight is a variety pack so to speak, as we revisit the ACCESS Event and then take a trip to the Malus Park Summer Carnival. ACCESS is celebrating their 6th birthday, and if you are a member of their free group you can click all the pretty teal giftboxes you can find at the many displays to claim a bounty of gifts :) As for the Summer Carnival, well you know Malus Park loves to bring joy with their sales events, and this is no exception. There are rides and a lemonade stand, free Pride items, and of course there are stands from many wonderful designers. They are offering exclusive items, discounted sales, and presents for $25L or less in brightly wrapped boxes. I was delighted to see the way everyone interpreted the theme, with some focused on summer and a few leaning into the carnival aspect :) Both of these events wrap up at the end of the month, so we have a little time left to explore them.

My first look of the evening is the AURICA Yuki Dress RED gift at ACCESS. The bare shouldered style is as eye-catching as the bold hue, and it is adorned with a butterfly pin that is beautifully detailed. I do love versatility :) Aren't the palm trees just perfect for warm weather? Now I'm wearing this top with the Delizio jeans that I reach for so often (marketplace free gift, fatpack) but you can pair this with anything from shorts to your favorite skirt to simple leggings.

My final look of the evening also features a Summer Carnival exclusive or two, this time from backSTORY. They have several pairs of earrings available for $150L each, and they are all balloon animals! I just have to say that they are among the cutest earrings I've seen, and there are options for just about every taste. I'm wearing the Balloon Animal Earrings - Snail on the left side of the photo, with Balloon Animal Earrings - Monkey in the inset on the right. These and the other offers (crab, dog, horse, lion) each include a HUD with 12 textures each for the balloon portion and the hook, various colors and a fun tie dye pattern you can see on the monkey above :) I find RL balloon animals to be very intriguing, as it takes a lot of talent and practice to get them just right. SWANK Is The Tops

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're exploring some of the gifts for the SWANK Event, specifically a handful of tops that we can wear with our favorite pants, jeans, skirts, and more. There are so many incredible free gifts here, just wear the SWANK event group tag (free to join) and look for the rainbow flames at many of the displays. Give each one a click and the gifts are all yours :) Be sure to set aside some time for all the unpacking, lol, as it is quite the haul!

My first look for the evening is the Dark Angel : Pride Cuff Tshirts, a gift of two versions of the same classic shirt. There are Support Pride and Happy Pride varieties each in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn sizes. The support style on the left above has a great sunny yellow background, with minty green for the happy pride on the right :) 

For multiple textures on the same clothing, it is much easier to have a HUD of course, like we find in the #SHOOSH - Pride Shirt [FATPACK] gift. It has 14 fantastic options in fact, a few different images on black, white, or pink backdrops. The slim fitting top comes in Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes. I must say, the ones I'm showing you are absolutely things I would happily wear in RL too :) It's probably hard to see here but the unicorn says Born This Way in rainbow letters in the cloud beneath.

This was a pretty busy weekend here, with dinner on Saturday at my parents' instead of Friday and then therapy today. The weather stayed hot but dry, and dinner was nice while the therapy session was tough because my stomach is really bothering me lately. So being in a car for any amount of time makes me feel motion sickness or something, bleh. I'm okay, just feeling a bit worn out from mental and physical stress I think. The week ahead has a heatwave with strong heat advisory warnings for the next several days, heat index values up to 105 which is just nasty. I'm not leaving the house while the sun is shining most likely, LOL, but will still be doing some form of exposures for my therapy. Feeling Swanky

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to invite you back to the SWANK Event and their Celebration of Colors round, since I still have dozens of free gifts to share :) Their group is free to join, and many of the displays on both floors of this impressively sized event have a rainbow flame plaque with either a photo of the gift inside, the store's logo, or a default image saying a gift for you. Just give each one a click and you'll be unpacking treats for ages after ;) It was quite an adventure, and I always enjoy this particular event for how generous their designers are.

My first look is the charming [MSN Design] Ashley Dress [FATPACK] gift. This mini dress has a halter strap held by two sections of chain links, and there are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. We also receive a HUD with 20 solid colors, 20 with a slight pattern like on the left above, and 20 for the trim, as well as 5 metals for those chains on the straps. I like to mix things up a bit, but the dress looks just as pretty with the trim tinted to match the main fabric.

What better way to get ready for the weekend then with some sexy lingerie? Our .:FlowerDreams:.Lola Lingerie - silver gift is provided as two BOM layers, top and panty, with sheer sections and sparkly ones that look terrific with the intricate straps all over. I'm definitely a fan of BOM (Bakes On Mesh) because of how easy it is to wear, and the layering potential is so helpful. It's also nice to be able to bring older system layer items back out of those corners of our virtual closets and enjoy old favorites.

Next we have the Ruxy-Valery red gift, whose top and skirt will both fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The top has such a fun geometric cutout, and the skirt's animal print (snakeskin? crocodile?) is an extra playful touch. The two shades of red are distinctly different yet work together wonderfully.

Wowza, this is a smokin' hot gift! The TO.KISKI - Kiss Up Mini Dress. Animal print 1 clings to every curve and has a sweetheart neckline to accentuate the cleavage just right. There are sizes for Freya, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy Boobs mesh bodies.

My final look of the evening is a real summer treat from GGVG called GIFT JUNA OUTFIT. It pairs a tube top with a maxi skirt for a Boho flavor, with both pieces provided in Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn sizing. There is also a HUD as I'm sure you guessed, with 12 texturing choices that apply to the full outfit at once. The fabric patterns each have a matching solid trim color, very nicely coordinated :) 

It is only 64 degrees outside right now, so why is it 80 degrees in my office? Sorry, I am feeling unwell from the heat which is from all the electronics operating in a tight area. The fan is doing nothing but blowing warm air at me, eww. Happy Birthday ACCESS

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to celebrate the ACCESS Event's 6th birthday, which we are doing in the usual SL way :) That means there are gifts galore for all visitors who have the ACCESS group tag active, in pretty teal boxes to match the event's logo. There are plenty of gifts for the guys here too by the way, especially in the middle area of the large room, so have fun and bring all of your friends.

My first look of the night is the Asteria"Eve"Top&Skirt gift, which I absolutely adore :) We receive the cropped top and fluttery skirt each in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Senra mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 9 metals and an on/off option for the beaded trim on the top, so it has a fun touch of variety.

Next I paired two more generous gifts, so let's start from the top ;) That would be the ELEVEN - Caddys Top [1], which has a playful layered look and fits Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The front says "Lil'baby" in white. I think it goes really well with the edgy Over - Shatter Pants - Fatpack gift, which is unisex as there is a mix of male and female sizes - Jake, Legacy F, Legacy M, and Maitreya. There is also a HUD with 6 color choices, so we can adjust to suit our personal tastes. 

Our gift from Cynful is their dazzling Femme Fatale Set - Red outfit, a cinched-waist romper and top to layer beneath. They are each included in Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with a very detailed HUD. That lets us select from 8 animated neon images for the top (or you can choose none) and 8 metals apiece for the straps and zipper as well as on/off options. The neon buttons aren't labeled, so you get a fun surprise each time you click and apply one :)

I must say I always appreciate receiving gifts from Kaithleen's at any event they are a part of, and thanks to their Cassandra Dress - Copper here I'm sure you can see why. The sheer strapless gown with dramatic high-low hemline comes in Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, eBody Reborn, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, Juicy, Waifu, and Waifu Rolls mesh body sizing. There is also a HUD which offers 20 colors apiece for 3 sections, which are the neckline trim, hem ruffle, and the edging on that ruffle. As a bonus, there is also a set of BOM panties included (packaged separately) in black, nude, pink, white, and tintable. It is nice when designers add a little something for modesty in case it is desired, and we can always leave it off or remove it.

My final look of the evening, the Oracle - Vanity Dress - Rainbow gift, is timely because of Pride month as well as being just extra sexy! There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, Juicy Roll, Mounds, and Waifu mesh bodies included, as well as a HUD with both textures shown above. If the HUD defaults to your hand instead (it did with me, and I know sometimes that's an SL glitch) just remove it, right click - add to HUD and choose where on your screen you prefer. Am I the only one getting Lisa Frank flashbacks here? :) That is not a complaint at all by the way, as her colorful creations were a big part of my childhood.

Whew, I am a slowpoke this evening it seems. I went out later than expected for my little outing, and that just delayed everything so I am feeling irritated towards the person whose decision it was. They literally could not care less of course, so all I can do is either rush and make mistakes, or go slowly here and ask for your patience.
